@@thatoneguy-w6l sure but amd has started making chips for commercial use already with the higher end chips above the 7800x3d (since it’s a gaming chip let’s be honest) but even at the higher end you have things like their threadripper series. If intel really doesn’t make meaningful progress in their chips, especially since most people were disappointed with the launch of the new ultra series, then AMD will eventually just take the market away from them. I mean they completely took the high end gaming market away from intel because for that exact purpose there’s no reason to go with intel over amd. By this rate their primary market is productivity/business and if they don’t recover they will very much get taken over
