Suburban Noize Records new supergroup King Klick featuring Johnny Richter of Kottonmouth Kings, Chucky Chuck from DGAF, and Obnoxious, have released their brand new video for "Sub Noize O.G.'s" online. The song is the latest single from the King Klick's self-titled debut album, which is slated for an October 1st release date via Suburban Noize Records.
"SubNoize OG's is one of those tracks that can only be described as West Coast. Obnoxious and I both started our verses with a nod to the OG Snoop Dogg," commented Johnny Richter. "Chucky slayed the third verse with what is my favorite 16 that he ever spit so it's no wonder why it's my favorite track on the EP."
Chucky Chuck added, “Nothing captured the lifestyle and sound of California like that classic West Coast hip-hop. We knew we wanted to create a West Coast banger and the beat instantly captured that vibe, so we had a lot of fun on this one."
Under the King Klick banner, Johnny Richter (Kottonmouth Kings), Chucky Chuck, and Obnoxious (AKA OB-NOX) have banded together to reunite the underground with their brand of THC-infused raps. The group's debut album was recorded at the SubNoize compound in California and features guest appearances by Madchild, Whitney Peyton, (Hed) P.E, Dropout Kings, UnderRated, Son of Saint, and other members of the extended Suburban Noize family. The album also features production from C-Lance and Aaron Hiltz, Godsynth, and newcomers Jordan Coyne and St3v3n.
King Klick are scheduled to make their live debut on Wednesday, October 6th at the legendary Whisky a Go-Go in Los Angeles with special guests Madchild and Big B & The Felons Club. The trio will then play San Diego, CA on Friday, October 8th at The Holding Company (THC) with Madchild for a special benefit concert. All proceeds from the show will go to "A Heart For George," which is a fund set up to help San Diego resident and SRH legend George Jiminez offset his expensive medical bills from the successful heart transplant surgery that saved his life in February 2021.

@@skunkugly I told Richter he was the best lyricist at a show back in 2010 and his reply was "thank you I'm just trying to keep up with dirtball" and he pointed at him. People say he shouldn't have joined the band but it never bothered me personally he made some good songs with KMK.

Enjoying a lot of King Klick. Good to hear Richter shining and leading a group that makes sense. Was honestly never a huge fan of Chucky Chuck musically other than what he represented to the KMK/SubNoize movement, but I'm into what he's doing on this project. I was skeptical of Obnoxious role fitting at first, but he honestly did his homework and paid a ton of homage to the roots of KMK/SubNoize on this record. Looking forward to what this builds and brings for all 3 of them.
