Welcome back to another Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon video. In this video, we are going to talk about everything we know about House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2. We are bringing you the House of the Dragon Season 2 Episode 2 preview video, in which we are explaining and breaking down the next episode of House of the Dragon. One of the most notable events will be Ser Arryk Cargyll coming for revenge against Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen on King Aegon Targaryen’s and Criston Cole’s orders. He will be pretending to be his twin brother Erryk who serves in Rhaenyra Targaryen’s Queensguard but will be caught by his brother, and the Cargyll twins will have an epic duel. Next, we have Prince Jaehaerys Targaryen’s funeral, Alicent Hightower and Helaena Targaryen are devastated. Aegon’s revenge for Daemon’s Blood & Cheese event, besides sending Arryk to Dragonstone, will also include catching Blood and hanging all ratcatchers of King’s Landing. At Dragostone, a conflict between Daemon and Rhaenyra will happen over Jaehaerys. After this, Daemon Targaryen will ride his dragon Caraxes to the Riverlands and conquer Harrenhal with only his dragon. At Harrenhal we will meet new characters; Simon Strong and Alys Rivers. In episode 2, Otto Hightower will also be removed as Hand of the King to King Aegon and Criston Cole will be appointed to this position. Finally, the episode will also feature Aemond Targaryen’s soft side. House of the Dragon season 2 episode 2 will be very interesting and with quite a few surprises. I mean was it Criston’s job? He is sworn protector of Alicent Hightower. How is he gonna protect all of them at the same time unless they all gonna sleep inside the same room?
@@ggez3592 Members of the Kingsguard are meant to protect all members of the royal family, not just the one member, but all of them. He should have been doing the rounds.

Why is Rhaenyra mad at Daemon? The Greens killed her little son, usurped her throne and she even orders “a son for a son”. Without Daemon she would be nothing, seven hells… I wish Daemon would just declare himself king instead of supporting Rhaenyra.
Because now the Greens can use propaganda and say Rhaenyra ordered the killing of her own nephew who is still a little child. This is what is done to Rhaenyra in F&B. Kinslayer is considered the absolute worst thing someone can do in this world.

@@lalapasa3030 more than likely. Rhaenyra will want to do something good like get food into KL for the smallfolk. We’ve seen pics of Rhaenyra’s lady in waiting, Elinda, in a red hood in KL so maybe that’s what she’s doing.
daemon's assassins made a martyr out of the little prince, like others have said this can be used as propaganda against the blacks and would rally support for the greens
Because killing kids is bad politics. If It was Aemond that she ordered killed there wouldn’t be any problem. However killing a child would disgust the small folk of kings landing and outrage the nobility of Westeros. people who were sympathetic to her cause would feel revulsion toward her. Daemon made a mistake ordering the killing because it makes Rhaenyra look bad.
Poor Helaena, the only innocent Green, she doesn’t deserve any of this
It has been suggested that she has the ability to see into the future and foresaw the events that occured.

Houses of Aegon’s side: Lannister, Baratheon, Hightower, Bracken.

I am curious about a couple of things. One, when the servant came upon Blood, she managed to elude them but didn't sound an alarm by screaming at the very least. Two: the security in the castle was very lax, to say the least. There wasn't even a warning system (like a bell), where people could be warned of intruders.

And of course the attempt on Rheanyra will be much more impactful than Blood&Cheese, they ruined that one all right, most anticipated, shocking and haunting moment of the Fire&Blood book, the classic tragedy of mother's impossible choice, was reduced to what they gave us in the first episode, so rushed and underwhelming. And they also made it out to be a mission gone wrong.🤦♀Oh please, in the book Daemon gave the order to murder Aegon's heir not Aemond. Book's version of Blood&Cheese is perfection and if filmed would keep the audience at the edge of their seats. and make TV history.

@@PabShankin those promos I don’t see Aegon firing Otto Hightower and replacing him with Criston Cole as Hand of the King. I don’t see Alys Rivers. I don’t see Aegon asking Criston where he was to protect Jaehaerys. I also don’t see Aegon smashing Viserys’s model of Old Valyria as his first response to the sad news. Etc. What are you talking about?
