Great Job on the Videos and great hunt. I took my son hunting up that way this fall and he shot his first caribou. You did a really good job on the video, phone scope, angles, etc.
Damn just like in the movies. Tonto on the loose I'd say who are them Indians. Being I'm a Indian myself. Way to be way to hunt Way to film. Excellent video guys. God Bless you and your family's.
Nice hooks on the grizzly. As to the people complaining about not taking the meat. I've been talking to a guide about a possible hunt in Alaska. The bear meat really isn't edible, Alaska doesn't require that meat brought back to process and distribute. It's up to the hunter if they want to try the bear meat. I'd like to get one once to see how it is.
As a lifelong Alaskan native, bear meat is not something you really want to eat. Maybe if in a survival situation but even then 🤔... I'd rather scare up some Ptarmigan or even a red fox before bear meat. Although a black bear that's fat on a berry patch then you got something.
@@msa4548 yeah if you get one that's been on a moose calf diet and then a berry patch for a couple weeks lol, its kinda like the lottery 😅 🤣 I'd rather take the hide and shoot some small game for food. But that's me , by all means eat yourself some bear and make a judgment from that. I mean beaver tail is coveted in some of my elders circles of munyuk.
@@msa4548 good call lol, there's an excellent spot for both on the south side of the Denali Highway. Its past swede lakes and south of the north fork of the Gulkana River in the alphabet range. A large moose honey hole back in certain areas and good selection of caribou. Best advice is excellent boots you are comfortable in lol, because you will be hiking in some unforgiving terrain.
Guys great vid loved it - Hey I have a great Idea for your next hunt. You have some wine asses on the comment section complaining about wasting the bear meat so next time you go take these guys with you That way you have Bear bait and then when you shoot the bear you wont need donkeys to pack it out you can just give it to them !!!! What you think ? Just keep up the great videos guys.
a shame you didn't take any of the meat off the grizzly, wouldn't taste too different than a black bear when they are healthy and feeding on berries like that.
These guys seem like great hunters and appeared to salvage all the meat required under Alaska law. Nothing wrong with what they did. It looked like a great hunt.
@@AlaskaBoys should have taken the bear meat. A grizzly weeding on berries like that would have tasted similar to a black beat, in other words, great. Take the meat off that beat to feed yourself, and let the caribou live another day.
Excellent video, good job. The years have caught up with me and can't do what you are doing anymore. Made many hunts for caribou and moose.
Congrats on the double up!!!
Tremendous production value, Sir. Very enjoyable to watch!
My 66-year-old, knees-shot body lives vicariously through your adventure. Good job, Guys.
I like the camp banter.
Awesome video!! Looks like you guys had a good time
I laughed to hard at that grizz taking those 220 grain bullets!

Nice job gents. Enjoyed watching your film. Smoke’n shot on the griz by the way.
Tenderloins and mashed potatoes 🤙🏻 gnarly trip boys!
Great video production guys.
Nice hunt! Hopefully one day I can do it.

Nice hooks on the grizzly.

@@fredinalaska from what I've been told anything along the coast is rotten fish. An interior bear might be edible depending on their diet.

@@fredinalaska if I were to try bear it's probably going to be a black bear from behind my house. I want to go to Alaska for a moose and caribou.

Cool video but the selection of music/audio made it hard to watch.
Channel name indicates Norwegian or Finnish heritage.

I agree. If you were not going to eat it I'm sure you could have found a shelter that would have loved to have it.
pathetic you didn't harvest any meat off that bear
Trophy hunters. Disgusting.
Far from trophy hunters. If you don’t like it, you did not have to watch it.

The sound of a SPIKE killer.
More like the sound of a supermarket hunter!
What is the point of killing a bear? Macho inadequate
