The historical context of falasafa, and ishtehad in the Abbasid Empire, and the influence of Al Ghazali and Ibn Taiymiyyah in killing ishtehad, and finishing off the falasafa school (the Tahqiqis), leading to the current situation are also touched upon.

Being a layman I can't argue with the views of Arif Sahab, but my common sense says he is right. And I agree with him. I 💯% agree with him. I wonder why our community doesn't accept his views. Rigveda talks about Dasyu people. Some people say that dasyu were the indigenous group that lived before “aryans” but there is no concrete proof of this, also Aryan invasion is now touted as bogus by some people. If you read Rigveda, you’ll find these versus:

A later Vedic text Taittiriya Brahmana states, "The people to whom these ruined sites belonged, lacking posts, these many settlements, widely distributed, they, O Agni, having been expelled by thee, have emigrated to another land."
This is just Rigveda alone. There are stuff in Yajurveda too about people who can and cannot read vedas and gain knowledge. Like I said, violent versus that can be interpreted in many ways are found in almost all texts. It’s us, humans who should take it in a way humanity triumphs any of these versus.

I am surprised. In the past, he has been a very frank about the attitudes and actions of the Muslim community. However, in this interview, whenever asked if Islam needs reform, he is sidestepping the question by invoking Hinduism principles (as if speaking for all Hindus), and emphasizing that he can not speak for all Muslims (yet not clearly stating that in his personal opinion, Islam does need reform). Has he been threatened/compromised?
I will be very happy if this noble person will become next President of our country.

He is so much tangled in his processes perspective seeking and then his own true perspective making. If he is against western western thought making process and all the other things as well, and call Mr. Sanjay Dixit Ji's question a bit weired and motivated from others, then why he himself was using Western language to prove his point. he was saying that no one should change or Reform a word which is written 1400 years ago. then why he was against islamic marriage laws when he was in Congress. and why in this video he was saying that, in his whole political Carrier he was never in good terms with islamic teachings and islamic scholars. Real virtue and wisdom can't be algorithmic or according to some weired mathematical ways, it's totally an effort of some special status seeking or some game plans behind fulfilling one's personal ambitions. it's known as an Effort of fake virtue / virtue Signaling. it's purely a presentation of how to be two timers. after 1 St question his body language and facial expressions were showing how uncomfortable he was, and calling Mr. Sanjay Dixit ji some thing related to his attitude and his question asking. he himself was talking so examples from here and there and quoting them. but at the same time he was totally eliminating the Existence of a middle men. if he is truly a guy who is against learning anything from no one accept Allah or God. then quoting those quotes , quoted by a Great man Swami Vivekananda ji and few others. they all were Men or according to him a middle men. it's like a spider and its own woven web to catch some flies but its own web catch that same Spider and kill.
