  • With five other Oasis class ships currently sailing in their fleet, Royal Caribbean has managed to keep these world’s largest cruise ships at the top of popularity with continually innovating new features and onboard experiences.
Most closely resembling the last Oasis class ship, Wonder of the Seas, Utopia of the Seas will be the first in its class to be powered by LNG Liquified Natural Gas, making her more efficient and friendly to the environment.
Utopia of the Seas will also be the first Oasis class ship to enter service strictly offering short cruises. Her 3 and 4 night Bahamas cruises from Port Canaveral, Florida are being marketed as the World’s Biggest weekend with a major focus on Perfect Day at CocoCay as an extension of the experience.
Utopia of the Seas will give fun and sun seekers plenty of spots to chill, splash, drop, drink and dine without needing to go too far.
These short cruises are not short on dining options, with all new venues including an immersive locomotive dining experience, Chops Grill with a connection the Trellis Bar, new two-level Giovanni’s Italian Kitchen and Wine Bar, Izumi in Central Park and several other returning favorites.
Utopia of the Seas also has plenty to keep guests occupied in the evenings with bars and entertainment including the new Pesky Parrot tiki bar.
As with all Oasis class ships the mix of accommodations is incredible, but Utopia of the Seas will also introduce the line’s first Solarium Suites featuring panoramic windows with slide down panels.
Utopia of the Seas will take the short cruise market to another level, especially combined with a stop on every cruise to Perfect Day to CocoCay.

I love the idea of having all these food options on the ship but what is there to do on the ship. That's different from the rest of the Oasis class explain that

Hi ravismayes23, Utopia should have most of the same features as Wonder of the Seas, but as we get closer more things may be announced.

When is too much too much? Like spending a weekend at the mall. During Christmas? 10,000 people on a weekend cruise? No thanks. I'll stick to land where I can be away from massive crowds, not be rushing from venue to venue, hoping to get a seat at the table.

Hi Steve_in_NJ, thanks for watching. These ships don't appeal to everyone, there are still dozens of smaller ships form many cruise lines that offer great balance of things to do without 6,000 guests onboard.

Hi michaelroyo9709, thanks for watching. Almost the same, some new dining venues and changes here and there, plus this ship will run on liquified natural gas.
