We had a Mercury Montcalm ‘68, or ‘69. It was a light yellow convertible, with power windows, black interior.The rocker switch for the cover was on the left side of the dashboard, out of sight of the rest of the dashboard. Some friends and I were in Moncton one day and went in to where my father worked to get the keys, as we were waiting for him to give us a drive home after work. I killed the battery, playing with the electrical switches. Lol, he was furious, made us walk home to Riverview. Another time we had a huge snow storm. All the roads were closed. I was walking up the driveway when Dad started banging on the front window, and gesturing angrily. I was walking over the buried car. There was something wrong with it when he sold it. I don’t know what it was, but it involved him using sawdust when he was getting it ready to sell.
