I wish I would have heard this 10 years ago but I doubt I would have heeded the warning. I ended a 10’year relationship w a man who used me & I didn’t realize it until it ended. I’m now in my mid 40’s and trying to pick up the pieces. Being “ used” is the same as being “pimped” is a hard pill to swallow. I was naive & that naïveté cost me 10 years of my life. Some things you have to learn like you said before through experience. I will NEVER live with another man again. I am living alone for the first time in a decade and a man will never grace my door step. I learned the hard way but I escaped with no children. I have to heal the emotional scars that have been left behind though. Love this message. Thank you.

So I’ve always been a quiet person. As a child I didn’t talk much I just observed everything. I grew up in the 80as and 90s my mom and most her sister were crack addicts. I’ve seen a lot. My aunt has been with a man since she was 14. Had a kid at 15. Over the years I’ve watched this man be a tyrant over my aunt and their kids. I noticed how he favored them based on what they did for him. I watched my female cousins go about trying to buy their dad’s love. He was also a molester so you know what goes with that. Fast forward my cousins get older and they all feel like they have to give a man money. My cousin who is my aunts first born is a prostitute. Before she was all the way in that lifestyle she always gave her boyfriends her money. She was also slow. I don’t know what her diagnosis was but she received a ssi check monthly. Before they started digitizing money. She got a paper check . He would have her cash it and give it to him. He told her he would flip it. This happened every month. He would take her money and disappear. Mind you she had babies. She wouldn’t hear from him until a few days before her check would come. He would love bomb her and be there when the check came. He did this over and over. Every one tried to talk some sense in her but she was dickmatized. That’s all he ever gave her. She thought it was love. She would have to borrow and beg people for money . I’ve seen him pick her up on check day take her shopping and buy her stuff with her own money and she was happy. I was completely flabbergasted. As time went on she left her daughter with her parents. The same people who fucked her up. Her daughters were sexually abused and beat constantly. By this time some pimp done found my cousin no now she’s a prostitute. She thinks these men are her boyfriend. In order to see my cousin I had to go to the hoe stroll. We would sit in my car smoke some weed and chill. I loved my cousin so if this is how I had to see her I would. She would get out the car go turn a truck come back. Her pimp would call and if she didn’t have money he would curse her out. As her daughter became teenagers they ran away from their abusive grandparents and went to their mom. She was living in a hotel with her pimp. She got them a room in the hotel. I will give my cousin credit for what she did shortly after. She’s not that smart but she saw her pimp boyfriend being extra nice to her daughters getting their nails done and stuff, she knew what he was going to try and do. She gathered her daughters and dropped them off at a female family friend and left them there. She couldn’t get out that lifestyle but she wouldn’t allow it to happen to her daughters on her watch. Her daughters all still having a rough life. They’re having babies they can’t afford and getting caught up in abusive relationships. They all live in Vegas and will come to LA get their mom off the streets and try to get her to stay with them. She has 8 grandkids between 3 daughters. She’s now addicted to drugs so she won’t stay long and will become abusive it they don’t take her back to Pomona where her pimp/boyfriend is. Last time I seen her . She made a statement that her boyfriend would never leave her she makes him too much money. I felt so bad for her😢

My brother Ex has 2boys &’1 girl, don’t get me wrong the mom has always worked and had a job but she sat in her kitchen told her oldest son to find a woman that will take care of him. No basic life tools for when he’s alone in the world as a single man.. smh that’s sad he’s gonna grow up depending solely on women.!

You are correct. BM do this to BW in relationships. They want to use BWs finances and any resources she has because BM has none. They refuse to work and get an education. Pimps usually die alone and broke and so do men with this mindset. This is why you never do anything for a man whatever he needs he needs to do it himself. It’s not a woman’s job to build a bum man. Black struggle love is detrimental to BW the outcome is always the same. These dusties want a woman that functions as his mother while he benefits from her free labor while providing her nothing, but stress, drama and financial insecurity.

Building a man is never a good thing at any stage. If he is still building then wait until he is done to get married and live together. A responsible man never looks for a relationship knowing he can't sustain it. If he does, he is impatient, lacks of self control, discipline and has a cheap mindset. All these four are recipes for an exploitative relationship

It’s like my grandma said “ a man needs to have the same thing (materials) you have. If you have a car he needs a car. If you have a tv he needs a tv. If you have a job he needs a job or at least some way of getting his own money. If you have a home or a place to stay, he needs somewhere, that’s not your place, to lay his head.” That sat with me ever since I’ve heard it. Now a lot of times she comes off as a hater but I see now that I’m older she made a lot of since and out of all their grandchildren I’m the only one that’s not a baby mama, other than the ones that’s not old enough to have children. She also said if he has more than one kid or more than you, don’t even deal with him.

I was taught cooking and cleaning, talking care of a husband NOT A BF… I do not take care of grown men, Mom also taught us that God helps those who helps themselves- a man who doesn’t work doesn’t deserve to eat… A man with no shame is dangerous… and my mother also said SEND HIM WHERE YOU GO FOR HELP…. JESUS.
The other thin is if a man isn’t ashamed to ask me for money THEN HE IS NOT A MAN. I would rather help a woman than a man. I WOOULD HELP A YOUNG MOTHER OR A SINGLE WOMAN THAN A MAN THAT I AM. NOT MARRIED TO.

The men don't say they are "pimping anymore, because that's a "bad word" for a women to hear. Although it's the same thing as being finessed.
These days it's called "finesse." Finesse is when a person agrees to do something that would ONLY benefit one person.
Most women naturally like to feel wanted/needed, and validated by men. Women with low self esteem are the main targets 🎯.

The first pimps said they got the game
from women and just flipped it on women
it's not unlikely considering women get men to pay for many things just by being women and it's considered normal a man who works 9-5 marries a woman pays her bills and all she's expected to do is cook and clean which he could do himself or pay others to do even worse in 2023 alot of those same women don't even want to cook and clean they want to be taken care of financially just to exist no disrespect intended just saying this isn't one sided

No ma’am when u say men don’t say PIMPIN’ anymore bc it’s a bad word, you’re giving them too much credit. They don’t have any feelings they’re NOT empathetic towards you. They don’t use the word PIMPIN’ bc they know that you will catch onto that they’re using you & don’t love you. In the 70’s they called what these men are and have been doing 🫥CANDY PIMPING
that’s when a man is pimping a woman and SHE DOESN’T KNOW THAT SHE IS BEING PIMPED❕ That means you can be his girlfriend, his woman, sister EVEN his Mother OR grandmother

After that he could not work, she had to work and take care of him, multiple doctor visits, buying medication, cooking meals, helping with baths etc. This man knew he was ill before the marriage.
