    I remember a developer announcing an extreme stretch plugin but couldn’t remember who. Then I see your video and remember why I was excited-your algos and UI approaches are so excellent. Instant buy!

    Was looking forward to trying/buying this...but the demo 'disk image' (.dmg) states 'no mountable file systems' on both my 10.9.5 and 10.11.6 machines?

    Is there any algorithm value you brought into this product compared to PaulXStretch?

    • @anemond
      @anemond  12 днів тому +6

      PaulXStretch is awesome! In Sloom you can choose between 5 different stretching algorithms, and maybe more importantly there is a spectral shaping and modulation section to graphically modify the spectrum of the stretched sound in real time.

    Does it work with live input?

    • @anemond
      @anemond  12 днів тому +3

      yes, it can work with both live input and files (live input is not supported on Logic Pro though)

      @@anemond Oh, bummer! Any reasons why?

    • @anemond
      @anemond  12 днів тому +1

      @@No.17TypeS Logic Pro accepts plug ins that can either process live input (effects) or that can generate sound (instruments), but unfortunately it doesn't accept plug-ins doing both. So for Sloom we had to choose to support either live input or file-based playback for Logic Pro and we reckoned the latter was the main use case and ended up packaging it as a "software instrument" for Logic Pro. We'll be listening to user feedback during these first days after release and might change that. An alternative would be to ship 2 different versions for Logic Pro (effect and instrument), but we don't love that solution for now...

      @@anemond "Live" would be be my preferred use case for this plugin, so +1 for the two versions one for instrument and one for FX - I have a number of other plugins that have and instrument and FX versions, so is quite a common solution
