And to have all the same actors from previous seasons is extra cool. All the little subtle details are what makes this show (and BB) some of the best entertainment ever written.
We might be discounting how smart Howard is. Not to mention Main himself has witnessed Jimmy playing games. AND last year's shenanigans.... Bowling balls, hookers
I’m wondering if the plan accounts for this. Howard already caught on to Jimmy, so how do they mess with him without Howard immediately being suspicious of Jimmy again. I think maybe this drug thing is just a ploy to get Howard suspicious, then once Howard goes to confront Jimmy, the next stage of the plan kicks in. Hopefully, Howard really *has* achieved inner peace, cause outer peace ain’t in the cards for him.
Doesn't make sense to plant baking soda in the bag. If either Howard or Cliff had dabbed their little finger and tasted they'd have known it wasn't a drug. Surely if Jimmy had enough contacts to know about the vacuum cleaner man, he'd have the contacts to obtain some real coke. Took a risk there.
Lalo is after Nacho at the moment, you know for setting him up to be killed and all. Some lawyer and his chic are as far from his mind as can be right now. I'm guessing Main smells a rat and has an investigator tailing the person with the most blatant and obvious grudge, setting up Kim to take the hit if she continues down a road not natural to her.
I think Mike took Nachos Fathers fake ID so he can give it to him at a later date so his Dad can get away from the life that Nacho got him entangled in.

The gun shoutout with the salamanca twin was the most breathtaking scene in these 52 episodes and the amazing thing that they still have more for us the next weeks 🔥🔥🔥
@@mp6640 It's a normal scene, a nervous person like Nacho in a situation like this is normal to shoot randomly, and the scary scene is that I didn't want Nacho to get hurt by the Salamanca brothers as I felt exactly in the scene of Hank being shot in Breaking Bad

that whole scene of Nacho and the Twins reminded me of the scene when Hank faced the Twins in the parking lot back in episode "One Minute" of Breaking Bad, Nacho and Hank both spotted the twins in the car rear view mirror, both Hank and Nacho backed up the car to run over the twins although Nacho missed Hank did not and an all out tension built gun fight scene from the two of them to escape the twins. Horrifying and Amazing scenes. Love It.
I read that pretty much all the dialogue in this show is performed as written, but the Kettlemans were an exception. The director (Vince Gilligan himself) allowed them to improvise and added some of that into the scenes. 💦🥕
Seems about right. There are videos of table reads from some episodes (S1E1 for example). If you have seen the episode it plays out as written. There might be some minor changes, but difficult to tell.
Name a more iconic duo in this universe. The Twins? Fuck 'em. Walt and Jesse who? I fucking clapped when I realized we were seeing the Kettlemans again
Kim! It seems like Jimmy's traumatic experience in the desert reinforced the sweeter part of his Jimmy-ness even as he still gets a thrill out of being Saul. Kim, on the other hand, seems to have come through her experience with all her lightness burned out. She's been left so hard and cold and cruel. Absolutely ruthless. - The Avenging Angel. I really hope we see one more piece of Kim's childhood. We know she got her love of schlocky movies from her dad - so, there must have been some stability and good times, but where did he go and why? How did she end up alone with her alcoholic mother running away from debt and responsibility? How did she become the adult in her family? The stubborn one. Was her father a conman or was he the conned? Nacho! The letter Mike placed in the safe! WTF. emoji droplets + carrot + bitten nails!
@@shawnd507 I thought she was referring more to her child hood thinking back to the story of moving from place to place in middle of the night in the cold
Jimmy says “wolves and sheep” in the car with Kim. After he gives him the money. Remember the flashback to Jimmy’s childhood and his dad’s store? His dad gets scammed by a drifter and gives him the last $10 in his till. Jimmy warns his dad about the scam but his dad asks “what if you’re wrong?” and falls for the con anyway. When his dad steps away, the drifter and Jimmy have a tense interaction, during which the drifter tells him that there are wolves and sheeps in this world, and he has to decide which one he wants to be. He mutters that in this scene after giving the couple the money because he feels like “the sheep” whereas Kim OR the conning couple are the wolves.
I wanna say that’s Lalo trailing Kim and Jimmy. But it could also be a PI. Somebody making sure Jimmy hasn’t made contact with Eduardo. The prosecutor in Eduardo(Lalo’s) case may have caught Jimmy’s slip up last episode and gotten curious if he knows more than he’s letting on. They probably have off duty cop or PI trailing him.
I am so worried about everyone and everything. Even the characters we know survive this show, I’m worried for them. That’s the sign of a great show. Also the shot of Saul with the inflatable lady of liberty is one of the best shots of the whole show 💦🥕
@34:47 - Nah The whole point of going in there and going to the trouble of paying off the gf's to leave and replacing the safe was just to plant the letter. That would make the letter Gus's idea and not Mikes. The plan is to sacrifice Nacho and my guess is Mike has been forced to be on board with it in the same he was forced to go along with killing Zeigler. The only thing Mike did was remove Nacho's dad's fake ID in an effort to keep the the dad out of it. Also, remember that Tyrus had earlier instructed Nacho to start shooting anyone who came through the motel door. Gus probably intended for the Cartel have a surprised reaction in that situation and get put in a position where they had no choice but to kill Nacho.
I saw an interesting comment on a clip of Gus talking with Mike. It went something like: Gus has slipped up only three times in his life. 1) When he got Max killed by the cartel. 2) When he knocked over that glass. 3) When he went to the nursing home his final time.
I just copied this comment from somewhere regarding Nacho's story in the episode since a lot people are confused. So, Gus wanted Nacho to think he was safe, when Gus was actually planning on icing Nacho from the beginning, which is why he had the lookout to make sure Nacho didn’t run away. Mike knew Gus was probably planning to kill Nacho but still went along with orders and planted the Motel number in Nacho’s safe, knowing the cartel would find it and because it was in the safe they wouldn’t suspect anything. Mike took Nacho’s dad’s ID out of the safe because he didn’t want his dad involved in it. Gus wanted Mike to plant the number in the safe cause he wants the cartel to find and kill Nacho themselves. If Gus killed Nacho, it would just raise more questions and the cartel would start suspecting that there’s someone else on the inside who knows everything. The problem is that the cartel wanted Nacho alive to find out who he was working for, which is why Nacho was given very specific instructions to shoot anyone who comes through that door with no hesitation. Gus was planning on a shootout occurring where the cartel would have no choice but to kill Nacho. Gus now thinks he is fucked because not only is Nacho fully on the run and the original plan went to shit, the cartel and Lalo are now looking for him and if either of them catch him, he’s afraid Nacho will rat him out, so Gus wanted to threaten Nacho’s dad cause he knew it would be the only way to bring Nacho to him.
This episode was epic. The only quarrel I would have is that Betsy Kettleman eventually understood Sauls play. Her brain capacity is just slightly above that of the inflatable liberty statue they have outside the office, not to speak of her husband.
i also thought that the house was maybe built on chucks property… i went through all the episodes with chucks house and tried to make connections to the new house but i didn’t find anything… but i think it would be a great writing choice to have him put the house there… jimmy would not only be completely suppressing the grief from chucks death, but he’s also gonna build his more impressive house right where chucks house burned down lol
The old Indian man in the Kettleman's office is the SAME guy Walt later buys that truck from in "Ozymandias"--the easter eggs in this shoe are brilliant!!!!!
Hey guys, I'm so glad you guys have done S6. I am seeing it for the first time with you, by watching these videos. No way I can wait til S6 is on Netflix. This is exciting! 😃
Interesting idea you have that Mike added the phone number to the letter to point the cartel at Nacho and enable him to escape in the confusion, but really all he would have had to do was answer one of Nachos numerous phone calls and tell him to get out.
Great reaction guys. I’m really curious as to how this will all conclude. I hope the best for Nacho, but we won’t know what’ll happen to him. I’m also curious as to how this plan on Howard that Jimmy and Kim are doing will pan out as well as who’s following them at the end of the episode.
also… i think that gus’s plan was to get nacho killed by getting him in a shootout with whoever was looking for him… that’s why mike was telling gus that nacho will get caught and gus breaks the glass cuz he knows mikes right
I think Mike got Gus to at least take care of nachos father (that was the respect Mike talked him into), but they were going to give him up to the cartels or have him killed by that dude (not sure which was intended to happen first). thats why Mike does a little 'sigh' of hesitation as he puts that paper in the safe. He didnt want to do it. I think the paper is also to show he got paid to be a traitor against the Salamancas. Im not sure if he is framing someone specific tho.
Wow. Interesting theory about building on Chucks property. Impressive. That opening scene is as loaded as the airline BB openings. AND. Having a body double is normal for these guys.
Mike had to plant the envelope in the safe. That was Gus's order as Mike was there with the rest of Gus's top guys. The plan with the envelope is to frame someone else (I think it's some random rival cartel gang) for Lalo's murder attempt with those fake bank transfers. Nacho actually being at the motel whose number was in that envelope was supposed to serve as proof that this random gang tried to kill Lalo, which would absolve Gus Fring. Also, Gus said that Nacho "has his respect" earlier in the episode, and that was shown by Gus respecting Nacho's ability to escape that motel instead of being captured by the Salamancas. The only way this play would work is if Nacho got away, and Gus bet his own life that Nacho would do just that. Also, I guess my gf must be a big fan of you guys! She was texting with a guy friend of hers and the last text she sent before going to hang out with him was "🥕💦", so she must be showing him this video!

And to have all the same actors from previous seasons is extra cool. All the little subtle details are what makes this show (and BB) some of the best entertainment ever written.
Same actors from previous seasons? Kaylee sends her regards.
We might be discounting how smart Howard is. Not to mention Main himself has witnessed Jimmy playing games. AND last year's shenanigans.... Bowling balls, hookers
If Howard and Cliff find out he was at the golf club and also has a history with the Kettlemans, thats enough for them to put it all together.
Howard might be smarter than we thought but I still think he will eventually go to Belize anyway.
@@stevelonmo9495 Yes when push cones to shove, it isn't a great plan.
It looked like Lalo following Jimmy and Kim. I love all of the BB references in both episodes…El Camino restaurant, One Minute ep, the coyote truck 💦🥕
I agree I 100% think it's Lalo. It looks like his silhouette
I think Mike took Nachos Fathers fake ID so he can give it to him at a later date so his Dad can get away from the life that Nacho got him entangled in.
I was shocked to see the kettlemens back.
Do you have AMC +? Go check out the "extra" episode. It's a 9 min little gift!! Hoping they continue with them as a extra mini...mini series throughout the season
I’m pretty sure ?Tyrus? told Nacho it would be a vegetable truck or something like that. I’m convinced at this point that the truck was bs and they expected him to die, or if captured keep his mouth shut so his dad wasn’t killed
I love the way Mike always shoots straight with Gus no BS no dancing around feelings he just looks one of the most dangerous men in the eyes and speaks his mind I love it.
16:30 Seeing where Saul got the Statue of Liberty on top of his office is a nice touch.
The gun shoutout with the salamanca twin was the most breathtaking scene in these 52 episodes and the amazing thing that they still have more for us the next weeks 🔥🔥🔥
It was lol 😂 u got Nacho over here wasting 2 clips on one guy like u need to conserve ur ammo for the rest of the firefight buddy lol
I get you, Serag but what you gonna do when you have a empty gun with no bullets… I’m assuming you not gonna go on your knees begging for mercy when you know if you see these two brothers u are marked for death.💀
@@mp6640 I think he had the idea of the salamanca twin need him alive , so he decided to go crazy be shooting randomly on them while passing with the car which he did , his gun also wasn't empty as he reload it , anyone would be fear on nacho but since I saw the salamanca getting so close on him , I guess he won't gonna make it at the end
Kim didn't bring a stick. She brought a goddamn baseball bat.
that whole scene of Nacho and the Twins reminded me of the scene when Hank faced the Twins in the parking lot back in episode "One Minute" of Breaking Bad, Nacho and Hank both spotted the twins in the car rear view mirror, both Hank and Nacho backed up the car to run over the twins although Nacho missed Hank did not and an all out tension built gun fight scene from the two of them to escape the twins. Horrifying and Amazing scenes. Love It.
I think it was foreshadowing right there lol 😆
Also Kim is justifying her actions by taking down bad ppl.
Walter also after taking down Gus by poisoning a kid : yes he had to go. 🤷🤣🤣🤣
True but I do hear that Bob odenkirk sometimes adds a few extra lines to his scene to add dramatic effect or extra hand motion and gestures.
Name a more iconic duo in this universe. The Twins? Fuck 'em. Walt and Jesse who? I fucking clapped when I realized we were seeing the Kettlemans again
Hey guys! You 2 are some of the best reactors ever! Been watching for a few years! Keep up the great content!
Better Call Saul - Best show in the history of TV.....without a doubt
Not even
This, mr inbetween, sopranos all s tier.
Again...I 100% agree with Nikki!! As soon as Nacho got to the hotel, my first thought was "what about food?".
The way Kim said “You think you’ve lost everything? You have no idea.” felt like a foreshadowing, I’m so worried for Kim and what happens to her
💦 🥕
I felt like she was talking about herself and what she's already lost, referring to how she's totally lost her moral and ethical compass.
@@shawnd507 that would make a lot of sense. How much more of her are we going to lose by the series finale? 🥺
@@shawnd507 I thought she was referring more to her child hood thinking back to the story of moving from place to place in middle of the night in the cold

@MothproofKT,
Kim is going to lose her law license and her freedom. She’s going to lose everything.
That makes two people who managed to successfully escape the twins. Looks like their weakness is trucks going in reverse in a parking lot.
Saul's house was RICO-ed, same as the White house in Breaking Bad after Walt fled. Skyler, Walter Jr. and the baby were forced out.
I thought the white house was repo´d by the bank. You might be right about Saul's house though.
They have nothing on Saul.
25:55 Terminator twins lmao 🤣🤣🤣
Kim m'fing Wexler- fast becoming my fav character in the BB/BCS universe
I keep hoping Gene is in Nebraska waiting for Kim to get out of federal prison.
Gene might turn himself in. Being on the run and in hiding is killing him.
It seems highly unlikely that it would be Lalo since he was last seen driving away from the United States border. It seems most likely to be a PI.
It looks like Mike's car. He still has to watch out for them since he found out Lalo isn't dead.
@@derps0n839 They also need to keep doing business together, It looked like Mikes car to me too.
The only people who seem to drive old 78s/80s cars are cartel people, nacho, and Mike.

If any of you watch this and see this comment before episode 3, BE PREPARED for what you're about to witness! My reaction was 😳 to 😲.......
I am so worried about everyone and everything. Even the characters we know survive this show, I’m worried for them. That’s the sign of a great show. Also the shot of Saul with the inflatable lady of liberty is one of the best shots of the whole show 💦🥕
LOVE WATCHING EVERY EPISODE ALONG WITH YOU GUYS. Y’all are the best on UA-cam, hands down!
It went something like:
Gus has slipped up only three times in his life.
All Mike had to do to protect Nacho was to answer one of the many ignored phone calls Nacho made to him and tell him to get out.
I think Mike swapped out the fake ID for Nacho. I the one he put in the safe said "Cayman Islands" rather than "Manitoba"
Could Somebody Explain it to me, why Mike put convert there with Nachos whereabout ? I mean he doesn't do things without reasons. somebody?
This episode was epic. The only quarrel I would have is that Betsy Kettleman eventually understood Sauls play. Her brain capacity is just slightly above that of the inflatable liberty statue they have outside the office, not to speak of her husband.
You guys should watch 'Fear of Rain' it's such a good thriller movie!
i also thought that the house was maybe built on chucks property… i went through all the episodes with chucks house and tried to make connections to the new house but i didn’t find anything… but i think it would be a great writing choice to have him put the house there… jimmy would not only be completely suppressing the grief from chucks death, but he’s also gonna build his more impressive house right where chucks house burned down lol
But wasn’t Chuck’s house in the same neighborhood as Jesse’s house?
@@introverthoney8876 where did you hear that? they do look like similar neighborhoods
16:31 LOL its so cute that Steve says it the exact same way Nikki says "oh bitch", killed me
You know it's great show when you're nervous for Mike's life....knowing full well he makes it out alive

In this episode, I found myself screaming at the tv screen, "Think Ignancio, Think!!!!!." A lot of good tension in this episode for sure.
the one chick ultra gakked out had me rolling.
it's obviously Lalo following them at the end.."Wolves and Sheeps"
Nah lalo changed his mind going north and stayed in mexico to get "proof" aka nacho
31:00 That's Lalo for sure. I haven't checked but I'm pretty sure that's his car.
Great reaction guys. I’m really curious as to how this will all conclude. I hope the best for Nacho, but we won’t know what’ll happen to him. I’m also curious as to how this plan on Howard that Jimmy and Kim are doing will pan out as well as who’s following them at the end of the episode.
I think the emptying of Saul's house was after Ed took him to Omaha. I doubt it has anything to do with Kim or the ending of BCS.
also… i think that gus’s plan was to get nacho killed by getting him in a shootout with whoever was looking for him… that’s why mike was telling gus that nacho will get caught and gus breaks the glass cuz he knows mikes right
Kim in this episode made me realize that yeah, Howard is going on a trip to Belize for sure.
Vince Gilligan: Lesson 101 in writing is to create tension, from the official podcast.
I’ve missed you two! Strapping in for this and Ozark part two…and then part two of this in July! 💥💥💥
I took it as they cleaned out his house sometime after he called the 'Vacuum Cleaner Guy'
The domino stuck to her foot was 6/3. The episode?
Wow. Interesting theory about building on Chucks property. Impressive. That opening scene is as loaded as the airline BB openings. AND. Having a body double is normal for these guys.
24:49 "Oh..." ☺️☺️☺️

@@asiahenry7798 What the hell are you carrying on about? I don't have anything in a bunch. I'm just saying I don't think they are likely to go that route. Not only because the actor is unavailable, but because that would be too redundant and lazy to have her have the same fate as Saul. These writers are better than that and will come up with something none of us would be able to predict that easily. That is how I see it right now at least.
This episode Kim Wexler became Kim Salamanca
One of the best shows ever! Loved this episode!!
27:05 The cousins weren't so lucky a few years later when Hank turned up.
Gus has to cover his own ass. He set up Nacho in the hotel to give him a chance to escape, in my opinion. but maybe gus didn't expect the cartel to find out right away that nacho was in on the plan, and once they did, Gus couldnt do anything that would be seen as helping nacho
Mike had put that letter with the number by Gus order. Gus was hoping Nacho would get killed in this mess keeping him there until they showed up.
This episode set a new standard for me. Probably my favourite one in the entire series. At least for now.
Bad Choice Road for me

I like the paralel with the relationships Jimmy/Kim and Walter/Skyler. Both women frowned upon their husbands actions at first but then went all-in. I wonder how far the paralel will go during this season.
Sometimes it baffles that Kim can make Saul look like a model citizen.
Because Kim IS SAUL. Jimmy is just her puppet.
