PSA: I didn't realize this makes a difference but setting the actual game difficulty to easy mode makes Fort Condor (hard) mode easier here. The video was recorded with those settings since I lowered the difficulty in the post-game to breeze through combat sims faster since there's so many. So the video has these settings. Game difficulty: Easy Fort Condor: Hard Mode
The mini/baby games are what hurt square enix sales. word spreads and people want to play a quality game not hours upon hours of this crap. What a waste of talent to not make a quality game over filler. this game seems to be full of other games to fill time and its rather noticeable early on.
Dude. I am not sure what is going on here. I'm following your steps EXACTLY and you always have more ATB. When I start the match and start this video at the same time, at 2:54:80 when you place your first Elite Enforcer you've got 5 and a 1/2 bars, but when I let mine sit without doing anything and pause it at EXACTLY that time, I'm at exactly 5 bars. How is it that you have an extra 1/2 bar? As the match goes on you have more units on the field and more ATB than I have, despite following your exact moves at exactly the same time. Is this really on hard mode? Is there a difference between graphics and performance mode? (I'm on performance). Does it depend on which model of PS5 you have and they process differently? What the hell. You're at 5 bars at 2:56:60 while I'm at 5 bars at 2:54:80. When you're at 2:54:80 you have an extra half bar more than me. Something's fishy here.
@@christophermaes6570 I'm not so sure about that. I'm not sure about Easy mode because I never used it, but in Normal mode most units have an unlimited supply, whereas on Hard you have an extremely limited number of each unit, and the number of units able to be placed in this video match mine. So it seems to check out that it is indeed on Hard mode but the difference in ATB speed baffles me
@@Rhys-Lightningstarted to second guess myself so I went back to check my original uncut footage and it is indeed hard mode because I get the hard mode completed message after. I'm not quite sure what is making the difference if you're choosing the same exact set up that I am there. This was before the pre-release patch if that makes a difference. Try toggling from game modes? I believe the comments that something is happening but I'm not sure either at this time. I'll try to get to the bottom of it. Sorry 😔
The set up you choose changes the speed that the bar generates. Also, try performance mode and see if there's any change in the speed in Fort Condor as a whole. Someone informed me recently that this actually makes an impact but I haven't confirmed it myself.
If you want the platinum you'll need to beat the mini game on the hard difficulty which becomes the default after you beat all 4 stages on normal. That's the minigame difficulty btw not a hard mode playthrough

So the video has these settings.
Game difficulty: Easy
Fort Condor: Hard Mode
Indeed I spent like an entire hour trying over and over then I changed the game difficulty to easy and beat Gilgamesh with more than 7 units to spare
I was going to say your ATB gauge was filling so fast.
So I can go for the fort condor hard mode just in the post game right?
@@TheRetroDen yeah
this game mode is NOT fun
nvm. after learning how it works it’s kinda E-Z thanks for the help
@@ilovesteakandfries you're welcome
All minigames except for queen blood are not fun. At all.

very annoying you can't pick your loadout, or pick the dog, and it's all predetermined.
no matter what i do following this, the 4th absolutely does not work. its way faster and sends different units.
thank you for the guide. it would have saved me so much time and pain if id found it earlier lol
Glad I could help!
Thank you! Your guide made it trivial. Power of the pause button
You're welcome! Happy to help.
This is the way everything first or second try :D
Thank you so much this video really helped me!

it looks like the fort condor game itself is hard mode but the game's settings is on easy mode
I had the same issue. But I went into the main game settings and set it to easy, now it’s the same as the vid. Much much easier
Thank you, thank you, thank you !! Amazing worked first time !!
This minigame really sucks.
Easy mode makes it a breeze.
Be honest you got the game on easy mode dont you
Can't blame you if you do,literally the only way to beat this bullshit

My blue bar seems to load so much slower? Is there a way to speed it up?

I made the same comment on this video. The ATB in this video is faster. They have an extra 1/2 bar more than me every 5 seconds.
