Just out of curiosity, and I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything, I'm genuinely curious, what about this gane makes you excited? I get playing as the suicide squad sounds cool in theory, but aside from that, nothing I've seen from this game looks good. Even the graphics don't look as good as Knight. The gameplay looks like Fortnite, the enemies look bland and generic, the world looks empty and lifeless, the live service model is extremely worrisome, and the story seems all over the place. Again, I'm not trying to start a fight or anything, I'm genuinely curious why you're excited for this game. What is it that looks so appealing?
@@captaincaptain2128 None of the GOTY contenders for this year have graphics as good as Arkham Knight. The gameplay looks fun as hell, if you're not getting it because "it looks like Fortnite" to you then that's fine lmao. Enemies don't look bland or generic, they look like Brainiac's henchmen; and the corrupted Justice League looks dope. The world certainly doesn't feel lifeless, Metropolis in 3D is probably the main reason I'm getting the game; the city looks awesome. They captured the Art Deco, Retro-Futurist soul of Metropolis very well. Also, keep in mind that the majority of players were excited for the same stuff we're seeing now. Go watch the "Flash & Burn" trailer for this game, and the initial reveal trailers; they showed exactly this type of stuff and people loved it. Yet for some reason those same people are claiming they've been "deceived" by the big bad company yet again. Tbh, it's just gamers itching for an outrage as usual lol. Aside from the live-service model, nothing looks particularly bad about this game. The fact that the game has skyrocketed to the top of Playstation's pre-order lists in America & the UK after the most recent trailers also lets me know that this isn't a real outrage, just a vocal minority. See you in Metropolis!
@@captaincaptain2128 Sup man! Well i think the thing that has me most excited is not only the story, but being able to experience it with my friends. I also typically get really into Villain/Anti hero story's and characters, so having a game focused on the villains is also really appealing to me. While some of the live service stuff sounds like it could be pretty cool, and i am interested in seeing what they do post launch, i honestly couldn't care less about it rn as i'm just looking forward to checking out the main package at launch. I won't lie to ya, i like shooters. This game reminds me of Sunset which is a top 5 game for me. The way you can jump around like a lunatic in combat looks extremely fun and could make going back to other shooters a real challenge. Enemies do look pretty bland but maybe the JL infused enemies will mix it up and be fun to go up against. The graphics thing can be a little unfair, as this game has multiple times of day ( and a day&night cycle) with 4 player open world co-op, so a lot of graphical fidelity has to be sacrificed, but i understand it can be disappointing. I don't think the game is breaking any new ground, but it just looks like a great time to me. The skepticism is completely valid, as is with any game. We're just going to have to wait and see what we get at launch! (sorry this was long 💀)
Funny how all signs lead to DC entering a dark age in terms of games while Marvel seems to have learned their mistakes from Avengers and are doing their best to do better moving forward
You know what’s hella stupid is that hogwarts legacy was a single player game and it sold massively and was published by WB, they are literally too stupid to see that their own single player games are successful.
Hell even EA was able to see that single player game have potential. I recommend the earnings call when they announced that Jedi Fallen Order performed above expectations (ea makes surprised Pikachu face). Smaller but good games? A way out, it takes two - one copy of the game allows for online coop, both sold above expectations. EA deserves criticism for many of their decisions and number of studios which end up on their graveyard but once in a while they manage to release at least a good game.
It's a bit of a dilemma because quite frankly, the live service element aside, the gameplay has not been appealing for me and with the more they show of it the less interested I am but on the other hand it's one of Kevin Conroy's last performances as Batman if not the last. I don't know, I'll probably just watch the cutscenes of the game.
You would think but the problem is then everyone else just keeps buying it. You just can’t convince most people. It’s like the scalping retail problem where so many have sworn off buying resold toys or games etc but then those people just don’t get stuff because everyone else buys it and supports the market. In gaming, we see this with sports games too where they’re supported by tons who just don’t care if you boycott it for a statement or not.
WB games really needs to listen to the people and take notes instead of thinking everything has to be online and thinking the game was bad cause they don't like the gameplay, story, and characters
imagine if there was one point in this game where we play batman one last time hunting the suicide squad and we get the old controls and gameplay back for a little bit
Thanks for asking Jay. I unfortunately cannot support this game, looks like a fun story but I can watch the cutscenes and that's all imma do to check it out. I love listening to your take on other games and thoughts of the gaming industry. So I'll keep up with your vids to support you!
As someone who has been extremely excited about the game, because I see the potential in narrative, art design, traversal, and even gameplay. I agree with you for the most part, making it require a internet connection just to play and can be just discontinued is a horrible business decision.
I think it will be just like Avengers or Gotham Knights they will scrap things if they want the game to survive at least, also still makes me weird to feel that this is in Arkham universe they just changed Deadshot race without any reason
I have the same issue with this game the taking away access to game is petty and sad, and that's why I respect crystal dynamics for making Marvel avengers game playable and all content free all offline I liked the game and now I can still play it, I hope rocksteady fixes that issue cause if they don't it will kill their game and trust with the fans I want to pre order the game so bad but its like if they keep that issue its basically 70 dollars down the drain.
Wow. They're really pushing for a fresh assertion of control over our gaming experiences, eh? Oh well. At least they've finally come out and admitted it. They just saved me some money that I'll use to further add to my retro collection instead. I just recently picked up a gameboy color and started collecting games for that system again, and I'm looking for a reasonably priced OG Xbox to add to my collection of consoles and games.
@@CherishHaze666Personal opinion but if it was me I’d try to find a way to hold onto the switch but still get a ps3 again at some point cause at least the switch has a huge library of games that are great right off the cartridge and a lot of exclusives.
You are extremely valid. This is the last iteration of Kevin’s Batman. I hope they do him justice with this game. I hope they can be able to allow offline mode later down the road maybe. They better promise it. I hope that this game has a complete story with an end that just has post story material.
A solo Arkham Asylum-type batman beyond game would have been awesome. I’ve even repurchased the Arkham games on the newest generation of console just because those games are that good.
i have issues with this: 1. Why is the squad roster so small and limited (no black adam, enchantress, reverse flash, grundy) 2. Why is deadshot a great sniper being forced into up close shooting 3. why is this a third person shooter 4. Superman, flash and batman with no moral compass should wipe the floor with anyone in the arkhamuniverse 5. Where are the other many JL members? 6. Captain boomerang really!!!! 7. No offline mode 8. This should be Superman: Kill the Justice league
I really wanted this game to succeed eh I hate live service games. I hope this game proves me wrong, but I'm not going to buy it. Maybe after some reviews I'll think about buying it . Any way thanks for the vid Jay god bless you & Jill.
Also EA's had several game launches in the past that are 'online only' where the servers haven't been able to handle it and the game has crashed as a result. So if there are sever issues/crashes on launch day, no one will be able top lay it. That's another issue with access.
The game LOOKS good, but the visuals are about the only thing I like about it, the gameplay, the mechanics and especially the always online/live service stuff, that I just can't get into.
As someone who was initially hyped for the game back when it was announced, after gotham knights and after i heard the criticism about this game i can say for sure that as much as i want to play this still, i wont be.
I'm not gonna buy this game. They think ppl r stupid, they ignored the main reason the whole gaming media was against this live service online only game, they didn't take care of the problem by delay this game, they just thought ppl will forget and calm with all those backlash back then. They r a game company, if we the fans truly want a good single player story mode game just like spider-man, we have to vote with our wallets. If this game is succeed, get ready for more games like this and stfu when the server is down for maintenance for a full day and when the server shut down permanently because it's ur fault that happened. That game I'll skip it and that gameplay trailer look garbage just like the first trailer months ago. Also, i ain't paying $70 for something im not gonna own and they can take away from me anytimes. 🤷🤷🤷🤷
I really hope for something like Spider-Man dlc skin packs become a thing because I remember how hype it was to get a skin pack for the Batman games and I hope criticism of it being like this don’t scare insomniac away.
I don’t mind live service games but it’s getting anoying when they make every game a live service microtransactions games free to play games understandable got to make money somehow but when u buy the full game and then expected to pay for everything in the game is so anoying
My biggest issue with this game is that it looks too much like Avengers: it has mindless robot minions, loot, and over-the-top action and abilities and traversal that don't seem to match the characters (Harley swinging like Spider-Man, and Boomerang with superspeed?!). Not to mention the microtransactions! I just feel like RPG gameplay and a live service model doesn't fit with the superhero genre. This barely even feels like a Rocksteady game. I guess that's why the original creatives and director left. I don't understand how they went from the grounded, fluid combat of the Arkham games to this; Avenger's-level super-powered gameplay for a squad of mostly non-powered individuals. Somehow, Gotham Knights played more like a Rocksteady game in comparison to how this game looks like it'll play. EDIT: In the new gameplay trailer, they said that they had to "make" the characters different by using other people's gadgets in order to simply traverse the city. HERE'S A TIP: If you have to fundamentally change a character from how we expect them to play, just in order to fit the basic functionality of your game, then maybe you're thinking about it all wrong. INSTEAD, build the game around the characters already PREEXISTING abilities. This is what the Arkham games did. No need to go crazy. But hey, since you want to have flying and superspeed gameplay (as they have with Deadshot and Captain Boomerang), why not actually make a Superman or Flash game, instead of forcing these abilities on other characters? But, I feel like the reason why this suicide squad game looks and plays the way it does is because Rocksteady didn't want to completely scrap all their large-scale ideas and assets from their cancelled Superman game.
Not sure if Im getting the game or not. Arkham is one of my favourite videogame-franchises but Im just not into shooters like this. I want to experience the next installment of the series but I dont know if I'll even enjoy it. Ultimatly I'll wait and see when the reviews are in but all these trailers do nothing but turn me off. Oh, and dont they dare ruin Kevins last performance. Im sure he did an amazing job and deserves more than it being stuck in an always-online shooter that can be taken away from us at any point. Thinking of it, why should I pay for something I cant keep? That is a pretty big deal-breaker.
Yep after watch that video it straight up show you what this game will be sadly to me the graphics look a bit better than the last reveals and very curious of the story a little other than that the rest mostly the gameplay and live service parts I’m not excited for at all in my opinion there
I would have no games instead of mediocre/bad ones. I know that’s impossible, but if this game fails and all future dc games are canceled, then fine. Don’t waste my time and money on nonsense.
Playing the beta as we speak it’s an amazing game metropolis is better and more fun to explore than any other Arkham game also the story adds a lot of depth to every Arkham game if you don’t like what your seeing don’t buy it but if you want a continuation of the Arkhamverse buy the game you’ll enjoy
A hill that I will forever die on is that if a game is going to be live service, need a constant internet connection, roll out countless cosmetics be it through battle passes or dlcs and ultimately be able to just be taken from players at any given moment....SHOULD NOT cost full price to buy!! The reason games like Fortnite or LOL or Smite or any of those kinds of games with battlepasses and what have you can get away with having them is because they're free to play....If I'm paying over 100 bucks for a game and the devs can just decide at any point that I no longer have the ability to play it, I sure as hell will not be buying it
I don't think that was his complaint or point. It was more that you had to connect online in order to even play single player, and that the game could be taken offline once the company decides to no longer support it. That's actually pretty crazy - that means anyone who buys this game only has it as long as it's supported. If the single player mode was at the very least, designed for offline play, then people could play this game 20 years from now without being online. The way it is now though, the game would just die as soon as it loses its player base. All that being said, the game looks pretty awesome to me. I don't have a PS5 or the urgency to get one, so I'll probably resolve to just watching people play it on UA-cam lol.
I have total faith in Rocksteady. The game itself looks great. The gameplay looks awesome, the characters and world are important to me so I'm all in. I'll admit, WB are stupid idiots, like most companies. Suicide Squad fits better with the live-service model than Wonder Woman but by making it online only, they basically sabotage their own game. I can't say much about the battle pass as I haven't seen it in action. Every company is trying to get a successful live service games by throwing crap at the wall and seeing what sticks. The problem is, that Arkham is deeply rooted in the single player space and isn't the best universe to adapt to live service.
I recall that there was some game years ago that had one of the actors die mid development, and so out of respect for the actor, they changed the story. You'd think they would have done something like that here.
I’m cautiously excited. As a huge fan of the Suicide Squad, I hope that if this game fails it doesn’t send the message of “no one wants a Suicide Squad game” or “no one wants any Arkham universe games”. Not a fan of the “games as a service” model and REALLY not a fan of the “always online” thing. The game looks fun and I love all the DC references, but a lot of this stuff is worrying to me.
Like Gotham Knights the more I hear about this game the less I give a shit about it which is fucking disappointing cause both these games have/had decent potential
U couldn’t have said it better jay! This is Kevins last performance as batman and they can take it away anytime if this fails. Me personally im buying this game because this is Kevins last performance and because i want to see what happens to Batman after this.
As much as I hate WB games for doing us gamers dirty I'm still going to pre-order suicide squad kill the Justice League for the sole purpose of supporting Rocksteady I know for a fact this game is going to be a lot of fun to play with four online players But WB games Focusing on games as a service is going to kill their reputation Certain formats simply do not work with certain games such as suicide squad Which is a Story driven co-op game My three friends are still looking forward to playing this game and experience the story together I will still pre-order this game for PS5 I wish I could pre order the game for Xbox Series X But due to lack of space I have to get the game for PS5 But if this is the direction WB games is going for I might as well no longer support them because They will just ruin every single game They plan on to release And treat them With games as a service It's really sad The gaming industry is going downhill so fast Because these goddamn publishers only care about making money making games used to be about passion and making games for fun but gaming itself has grown so high so massive to the point that publishers are seeing gaming as a money maker they both can co-exist but only if you make games the way we like it however that is not the case instead they are coming up with this bull crap scheme of battle pass system and applying it to single player games or multiplayer games even watch dogs legion also has a battle pass system but it didn't work the way I see it the battle pass system should only be applied to Battle Royale style games the only reason why Fortnite is highly successful with the battle pass system is because they understand our desires they also have an item shop where we can spend in-game currency to buy character skins harvesting tool and many different things that allows them to make billions of dollars and it does not work with co-op games that is the part WB games does not see🤦♂️
The problem for them is that the live service grift is zero sum. There's only a finite number of people willing to devote their free time to an always online experience.
I think going from a Batman game, that was done right to a Suicide Squad shooter game, that is online all the time is just freaking crazy. There is no chance that game is going to be as Good as the Arkham games.
This game is ok but ima stick with Batman Arkham which are actually single player games that don’t need internet to play them AND there’s no battle pass bs in those games
Now if we had gotten the Damian Wayne Batman Game(Which it still deserves to be made) then none of this Bullshit wouldn't have happened but WB has not learned their lesson which is exactly the reason why they're in this State in the 1st Place. So in conclusion,Don't get the Game.
Honestly, I’m probably just going to end up watching walkthroughs on UA-cam and experiencing this through someone else. I really want this to be an amazing game but I really don’t have high hopes anymore.
I’m hype they are gonna add o offline support post launch I know it should just be there but I think they are trying to get the highest play count on their servers as possible at first
That doesn't make any sense, they can still get a high player count regardless if they're offline support or not. It's just clear the game will released unfinished that they can't even have a basic feature. 💀
Remember lads - the fate of this game was sealed in 2019-2020 BEFORE Avenger's flopped. WB likely know they've got a stinker. Best they can do is maximise sales & shut it down the moment they have a rebrand plan.
I really want WB to see that we want replay ability with this game and by making it online only ruins that. If they do a situation in where the game doesn’t do well and gets taken off stores early and discontinued the season pass I’d say that they should do something similar to Avengers and still allow the people who payed for it beforehand to still be allowed to play the story and co-op without issues. Be much nicer than just feeling like you’ll loose the game entirely.
I like how they had a chance to delay and scrap the game they had once people found out how much like the avengers it was and even having s goddamn battle pass but instead they just try to hide it sort of.
I’m not a big fan of specifically King Shark’s movement particularly in the air where he just kinda flaps his arms and he just kinda moves forward, it gives me Gotham Knights “mystic leap” vibes and it just kinda looks bad. The other character’s movement looks pretty good tbh.
i wish they didnt give every character guns. like captain boomerang and king shark do not need guns. captain boomerang i can kinda understand cause hes a marksman but i still wish he was just using the boomerangs
For me the frustrating part is the way that Captain boomerang can really only use a gun as his main weapon when it should just be boomerangs it's in the name and the constant need to have a internet connection for single player makes me want to pass on this game I was looking forward to it until I saw the game play and it doesn't look fun at all honestly
Is there a way at all to get WB to make Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League an offline experience? Even if it must get delayed again. I think we'd all like to play the game basically forever, like the other Arkham Games, even if the game gets delayed again.
I’m sure even if the game fails they will probably make it an offline playable game. I’m sure if Avengers did it this game will too. But I really hope it doesn’t fail
Probably will only play this if it comes to gamepass. I want to want to play this game cause I adore the Arkham series, but I'm beyond skeptical about this.
I think the biggest problem with this is the fact that they add live service elements to a fully priced $70+ game. Same thing happened to Mortal Kombat. Please nobody buy this.
My biggest issue with the game is, it’s a superhero or antihero game, these types of games gameplay should be built around the charcters powers and weapons they use, they shouldn’t all be using guns that and having to be online totally blows cause this game could tank and they take it off servers after a year and poof wasted 70 bucks with nothing to show
So does no one know that you need an internet connection for batman arkham knight to for the leaderboard Edit: ok when i say this i mean you can not at all play arkham knight without an internet connect with the exception of pc probably because of the leaderboard (at least thats why i think you cant play without internet)
Yes, but you can still PLAY through the story mode. Even if you can't record any scores, you still get the gameplay experience. Therein lies the difference. And trust me, that makes all the difference in the world to some gamers.

Yea it's kinda hard one hand you got his last performance on the other the studio and playing its like a red pill blue pill
I think the best call is to ignore all live service games they put out. Eventually, they’ll figure out what the problem is
You would think but the problem is then everyone else just keeps buying it.
WB still has not learnt their lesson after so many years
Online only for a mode I wanted to play solo offline is a hard deal breaker. Ill just watch cutscenes online
C'mon, man, even Marvel's Avengers did not require always online to play singleplayer
Welp, seems like i'm gonna have to got to Batman Arkham Videos channel and watch the walkthroughs when this comes out.
I’m thinking of giving away my Nintendo Switch to buy back an old PS3 to play old games on that system…
When the future is not futuring…
@@CherishHaze666Personal opinion but if it was me I’d try to find a way to hold onto the switch but still get a ps3 again at some point cause at least the switch has a huge library of games that are great right off the cartridge and a lot of exclusives.
You are extremely valid. This is the last iteration of Kevin’s Batman. I hope they do him justice with this game. I hope they can be able to allow offline mode later down the road maybe. They better promise it. I hope that this game has a complete story with an end that just has post story material.
A solo Arkham Asylum-type batman beyond game would have been awesome. I’ve even repurchased the Arkham games on the newest generation of console just because those games are that good.
i have issues with this:
1. Why is the squad roster so small and limited (no black adam, enchantress, reverse flash, grundy)
2. Why is deadshot a great sniper being forced into up close shooting
3. why is this a third person shooter
4. Superman, flash and batman with no moral compass should wipe the floor with anyone in the arkhamuniverse
5. Where are the other many JL members?
6. Captain boomerang really!!!!
7. No offline mode
8. This should be Superman: Kill the Justice league
9, Why does King Shark have a gun?
Kiven conroy was the best and his performance as batman was amazing
I really wanted this game to succeed eh I hate live service games. I hope this game proves me wrong, but I'm not going to buy it. Maybe after some reviews I'll think about buying it . Any way thanks for the vid Jay god bless you & Jill.
Also EA's had several game launches in the past that are 'online only' where the servers haven't been able to handle it and the game has crashed as a result. So if there are sever issues/crashes on launch day, no one will be able top lay it. That's another issue with access.
I just wanted a new arkham game, this looks like a gaas looter shooter with bullet sponge enemies and battle passes with xp boosters and mid combat. 😢
$75 for a ltm mode
Ok seriously, what positives come from a “always online” for a single player games which can be taken away from you at any moment
Please don't give this game any attention. They need to learn their lesson.
Ok. so it seems this will not be the case anymore, Rocksteedy stated that they are working on make a solo offline option
So on a ps5 or xbox you would need playstation plus to even play the game? Is that also the case with gt7?
Let's go new vid
Playing the beta as we speak it’s an amazing game metropolis is better and more fun to explore than any other Arkham game also the story adds a lot of depth to every Arkham game if you don’t like what your seeing don’t buy it but if you want a continuation of the Arkhamverse buy the game you’ll enjoy
Completely agree with all ur points man, love ur vids
A hill that I will forever die on is that if a game is going to be live service, need a constant internet connection, roll out countless cosmetics be it through battle passes or dlcs and ultimately be able to just be taken from players at any given moment....SHOULD NOT cost full price to buy!! The reason games like Fortnite or LOL or Smite or any of those kinds of games with battlepasses and what have you can get away with having them is because they're free to play....If I'm paying over 100 bucks for a game and the devs can just decide at any point that I no longer have the ability to play it, I sure as hell will not be buying it
Batman had pre-order stuff that you could buy later so I don't understand that argument
I'm just gonna wait for it to come out and watch an all cutscene compilation
"You die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain"
Can’t wait to play as Captain assorted fire arms!
I think you got the name wrong. It’s captain assorted firearms, who also has the speed force.
@@DegenerateJay
Who tf is Captain Assorted Firearms? That’s such a dumb name, Lmao.
@@-Twotonepony-It’s a joke about the fact that Captain Boomerang uses guns instead of, you know, his boomerang
Who likes games as a service? Are they out there
I am not buying this game, I will pay attention to it but i am not holding my breath.
My advise is to WAIT.
Wait and see from other reliable reviewers
To be fair, the lootboxes in shadow of war are completely optional if you only play the main story. Dont know for online conquest, never played that
I recall that there was some game years ago that had one of the actors die mid development, and so out of respect for the actor, they changed the story.
I loved Gotham knights... I feel like this will be a better version. Just sucks its a online only game
U couldn’t have said it better jay! This is Kevins last performance as batman and they can take it away anytime if this fails. Me personally im buying this game because this is Kevins last performance and because i want to see what happens to Batman after this.
I might buy it for basically free when it eventually fails like the Avengers game
Then u are gonna wait a long time buddy like 10 years or more lol
@@swe_myth7354 "10 years or more" lmao do they pay you or are you just dumb by yourself?
As much as I hate WB games for doing us gamers dirty I'm still going to pre-order suicide squad kill the Justice League for the sole purpose of supporting Rocksteady
I know for a fact this game is going to be a lot of fun to play with four online players But WB games Focusing on games as a service is going to kill their reputation
Certain formats simply do not work with certain games such as suicide squad Which is a Story driven co-op game My three friends are still looking forward to playing this game and experience the story together
I will still pre-order this game for PS5 I wish I could pre order the game for Xbox Series X But due to lack of space I have to get the game for PS5
But if this is the direction WB games is going for I might as well no longer support them because They will just ruin every single game
They plan on to release And treat them With games as a service
It's really sad The gaming industry is going downhill so fast Because these goddamn publishers only care about making money making games used to be about passion and making games for fun but gaming itself has grown so high so massive to the point that publishers are seeing gaming as a money maker they both can co-exist but only if you make games the way we like it
however that is not the case instead they are coming up with this bull crap scheme of battle pass system and applying it to single player games or multiplayer games even watch dogs legion also has a battle pass system but it didn't work
the way I see it the battle pass system should only be applied to Battle Royale style games the only reason why Fortnite is highly successful with the battle pass system is because they understand our desires they also have an item shop where we can spend in-game currency to buy character skins harvesting tool and many different things that allows them to make billions of dollars and it does not work with co-op games that is the part WB games does not see🤦♂️
Agreed 💯
The only thing that I have any hopes on is Kevin's last Batman voice performance 😢
I feel like this game is gonna be fun asf, and the reason they’re doing online is so updates can be easier
Lol keep lying to yourself
Theyve also confirmed that wonder woman does not have live service stuff its a singleplayer offline story game.
Thankfully, there will be an update where the game can be played offline.
“Hey I wanted to play that”
“Oh yeah, why don’t you watch a let’s play” 💀
This game is ok but ima stick with Batman Arkham which are actually single player games that don’t need internet to play them AND there’s no battle pass bs in those games
Thank God they did at least confirm the new Wonder Woman game won't be live service
Now if we had gotten the Damian Wayne Batman Game(Which it still deserves to be made) then none of this Bullshit wouldn't have happened but WB has not learned their lesson which is exactly the reason why they're in this State in the 1st Place.
So in conclusion,Don't get the Game.
I didn’t expect you to mention red velvet, love them
If I could use the REAL Arkham Deadshot I would be happier
After all ive seen it seems Montreal had more respect for the batman charectors and arkham series
I hope it's good cause this has one of kevin Conroys last performance as batman
14:14 indeed they are.
I wouldn't even apologize for saying it.
Why is WB making a micro transaction filled live service shooter instead of a proper super hero game? Are they stupid?
Maybe with enough input from players after the game comes out they'll make an offline? Or am i just naïve?
They delayed it and didnt even address what they were gonna change
I think the biggest problem with this is the fact that they add live service elements to a fully priced $70+ game. Same thing happened to Mortal Kombat. Please nobody buy this.
My allergies are hurting today too man
13:02 Batman will probably barely be in the game and they'll be just exploiting Conroy's death to get people to buy it.
My biggest issue with the game is, it’s a superhero or antihero game, these types of games gameplay should be built around the charcters powers and weapons they use, they shouldn’t all be using guns that and having to be online totally blows cause this game could tank and they take it off servers after a year and poof wasted 70 bucks with nothing to show
If they pull a payday 3 and the game doesn't connect to servers at launch, I'm gonna laugh
So does no one know that you need an internet connection for batman arkham knight to for the leaderboard
Edit: ok when i say this i mean you can not at all play arkham knight without an internet connect with the exception of pc probably because of the leaderboard (at least thats why i think you cant play without internet)
Yes, but you can still PLAY through the story mode. Even if you can't record any scores, you still get the gameplay experience. Therein lies the difference. And trust me, that makes all the difference in the world to some gamers.
Yep my wifi was down for a bit like an hour the the other day it does matter what games can be accessed offline, no wonder many people are going back to PS2 and 3 era of games plus physical media is slowly dying so
@@lordcheesus1013 dude you literally need wifi to play arkham knight like you cant play offline. At least not on console but pc might be different. But yes i agree the ssktjl situation is a little different I GUESS in a sense that supposedly they can take down the game whenever they want
Hate to tell you but i was just playing it on my PS5 the other day and it's not connected online at all. Granted, I couldn't record any scores for the riddler stuff or the DLC's or whatever, but I can most certainly play through the game. Have multiple times, in fact.
@@lordcheesus1013 if you are on the game while you lose internet (for me) its still playable. Maybe its just an xbox thing 🤷♂️ whatever
