An AXOLOTOL is in the salamander family :) and Shannon pronounced it correctly! Love the Cerval! I’ve seen African Wild Dogs at my zoo and I love them! They are so cute!

If they did get a card in with the display, then someone took it or they forgot to include it in the boxing (which occasionally happens). If they did not, then I would assume it’s for the display. I guess it could also depend on where they got them. If they were sent a full box by the maker then there is less change of it not being there. If they got it from the store then anything is possible. I agree, I hope they didn’t get ripped off.

That's a cute little series of plush animals. I like how there's a little card with each so the kid who gets them can learn about the animal. A few years ago, Woolworths (Australia) had collectable cards with animal facts like that on them. They had a barcode thing so you could swipe the cards in a little reader gadget and it would make the noise of the animal. They were pretty awesome, but having an actual figure is even better.
I know you guys like blind bags, but it's refreshing to see a toy with such minimal plastic impact on the environment. Especially one that teaches you about the wild animals of our world. :)

I just wanted to comment on the Axolotyl. It is pronounced axe-oh-lot-ill. They are similar to a salamander, and are NOT a fish. They are very important to their environment and a lack of them in an environment is seen as a large indicator of chemical toxicity .

Medically, they are being studied for their ability to regenerate tissue and the Generation II/Johtp Pokemon Wooper/Upaa is based on them. Also, I believe it's pronounced "JEN-et", and it just happens to be my favorite!
an axolotl is an aquatic Mexican salamander. they're critically endangered but u can have them as pets. the ferns on their head are actually their gills, and they have lungs too. surprisingly they all have little personalities. also their scientific name is ambystoma mexicanium. they're my favorite animal so I know way to much about them X3 I call them smiley bois. you can also have them as pets
