Yes we must continue to go forward, but never forget and face the past that haunts. We may not have been born back then, but the trauma is in our DNA. We must face those traumas head on. However, we need accountability from those, who are so reluctant to give us this, they have decided to try and white wash, erase and bury the horrible history of the truths. But that will never work when you have our Ancestor’s reaching up out of their graves. Their DNA is in our blood strong and determine. This is why race relations in this Country continually dangles on a fine line ready to snap.

Amen! But, not all young people are in the church and it isn’t solely the church’s responsibility to get young people together. WE ALL have to do that. And to do that, WE have to lead by example. WE have to take our children with us when WE vote…even when THEY are not old enough to do so. WE have to lead and live by example. WE have to make sure WE vote IN EVERY ELECTION, including all local and state elections. WE have to make sure our families and communities are aware, engaged, and paying attention. WE have to put just as much effort and energy into being aware, informed, understanding of, and advocating our interests as we do church, concerts, football games, celebrations and bbqs for family members and friends released from jail, and into just giving a damn. WE have to reclaim our overall awareness and culture and take it back from the corporate class that aims to desecrate us. WE have to reorient ourselves, our families and our communities towards those things that uplift and unite us. NOBODY can do that but US. AND, WE need more than an amen to that.

The Church was "once" feared because The Church was "once" the Place to be informed, educated, and where one could and would learn of the agenda for true progress. This is also why at one point in time, congregating as such was prohibited and you would be beat or killed for congregating. This is also why it was mandatory that a person of the different race had to be present if congregating so as to be sure that the congregants would ONLY talk Bible, but not Apply the Bible to their current circumstances, not pray against the oppressor and certainly not plan and set forth any agenda.
