wish I could tag along with these guys. I love there intercepts and close calls. I have seen all there episodes and footage, there footage and what they do is amazing. Without men like these there would be less warning, these men have saved lives before. Respect the Interceptors and Chasers.
Not being a spaz....you know what to do and some people are hesitant, which is a natural human reaction to fear of the unknown. Great video and thanks for sharing!!
GO! STOP! BACK UP! MOVE FORWARD! WE'RE GOOD! NO WE'RE NOT! I THINK I LEFT THE IRON ON!......REED WILL YOU JUST DRIVE THE DAMN CAR AND LET SOMEONE ELSE FILM?
vortex tornados are some of the most dangerous. they are very close to this. doesnt look it but they are. that tornado could end up shifting its path really quick
32Skytrader Obviously you are looking at this from an entirely different perspective. Many lives have been saved by having the chasers on the ground. It is not all about viewing the natural phenomena. I don't understand why you are on here criticizing people who appreciate the value in the science and the service these people provide to the public. All too often they are the first responders, and as such, they are also trained in emergency first aid and rescue operations. Not only do they provide value in advance warning but they also save lives out there at ground zero.
32Skytrader The 1979 Wichita Falls tornado was not an F-5. It was classified as a strong F-4 Tornado. As was the Vernon tornado the same day. The Red River outbreak of 1979 was mostly strong to violent tornadoes but none were rated F-5
superdupe8 Reed's team is ALL about the science as he is working on his doctorate in meteorology. The readings from the equipment he is deploying into these violent tornadoes will net valuable information and will save lives in the future. And yes, they do have to get "too close" to shoot these into the updrafts. Everyone knows the risks involved and they are ready to skedaddle in a split second if necessary. Many times it looks as if they are in must closer proximity than what they are though. They are using zoom lenses to make up for the distance. They've actually gotten a lot closer than this. I wouldn't go on a chase unless it WAS with Reed because he knows much more about tornado phenomena than even some of the seasoned chasers. There are some that are in it for the thrill and they do sell their footage and photos. And there are those like myself who love to watch it from the safety of my monitor.
Nice videos Reed and crew. Are you working on a Tornado Chasers 2014? Never saw a kickstarter for it or anything posted. If you are doing a TC14, see if Sean Casey would join you for an episode.. Thanks.
That was so intense i loved it! Awesome positioning Reed, and I totally love the excitement Mr.Timmer brings to storm chasing. I can't get enough! Stay safe I'll be watching and waiting for more amazing excitement!
I found the best way to get gratuitous yelling at my crew out of my system, was to take it up a notch with hi performance catamaran sailing: I screamed like a ninny for the first two years - but gradually - I got over ( most ) of it. Eventually, screaming sorta stops being exciting, and you just get a better sense of when it works and when it doesn't - the Bonus? You learn even more about wind.
+Cryengine_X do you realize who the yelling dude was and he was yelling because its really loud for them and his mouth is close to the mic and those people werent listening
Tornado chasers can get close if they want to, it's there job to get the tornado on camera. There job also in titles to intercepting tornado's meaning to get very close to it. It would amazing but scary job to do though.
It seemed like something got damaged like a barn or a shed but the house looked like it got a little damage. No worries, if there was someone home they would be completely fine.
I think I saw a post of TVN team saying the house was blown away, but the family is ok, they were in shelter, a father and young girl. I see so much of videos and comments so don't blame me if this is not correct.
This is for unrequested replies people keep sending. With all the weather modification going on, I dot not understand why these people are acting like it does not exist. For instance, we did not have one cloud, then the dam train blew their horn for what seemed like forever and sprayed their toxic waste and 5 - 10 minutes later, we have clouds. I did not get rid of them with my vinegar though because I did not feel like it and if I did the Jetstream would move more south. I am at peace
Olga King i honestly think a trip to the Dr. might be in order. I’m not being a troll. Based on numerous comments you’ve made, I believe you could benefit from an evaluation.
Complicated. Smaller funnels constantly appearing and disappearing, and even at the end, when it mostly looked like one big vortex, the smaller ones were noticeably rotating around the perimeter. Judging by the other comments, I see I was smart to have turned off the sound and kept it off while I watched this.
You didn’t intercept. You don’t have to intercept every one but don’t put it in the description that you did. I’m a huge fan of yours and when I find the time, I will spend the money to go with your van crew to chase tornadoes. However, don’t start making up headlines to attract people.
Now, you would think, reasonably, that with all the 'experience' that these people have, they would learn to calm themselves down. It's hardly professional. Get excited, get scared, but do you have to start screaming like that? It's ridiculous and hardly necessary. Every video. You'd think they were getting pulled out of their cars and being sucked up into the tornado with the racket they're making.
+Baphomet Reed in this video wasn't screaming purely out of excitement. They were right up on the tornado and had the windows down, so the roar of the tornado would've just overpowered his voice if he spoke regularly. I have not a single problem with his performance here.
I love Reed's videos, but I swear man, his yelling is like nails on a chalkboard to me. Screaming like that doesn't do anything but make everyone around you more anxious. I would think as the leader of your team you would want to be cool and collected. The best tornado vids are the ones with little to no talking. Watch the vid of the Langly KS EF4 from 2012 and see how pleasant it is to watch.
They have been experimenting on this for this type of spinning vortex and they need to stop now, unless the homeowner has given the permission. And I wanted to see the damage to the home not the manmade tornado itself.
Reed, I don't know how you keep your drivers. You are constantly contradicting yourself."FORWARD! BACK! FORWARD!" I would love to drive the Dominator, 10 years Army I keep cool under pressure ,but if you treated me like that I would have to beet the crap out of you. Keep up the videos and chill out.
+LOGANROSS1701 There are a lot of things to factor in and account for in intercepting a tornado. It's not as cut and dry as just saying "annndddd we're good. this is the spot". Plans change constantly, and tornadoes don't just travel on a specific path.
+Srprimeftw Really Captain obvious " tornadoes don't just travel on a specific path." I am glad you are here to tell me this. My point was Reed acts like an ass to his driver. He tells him to get closer and then has a fit when their too close. He acts like he knows everything then gets mad when the driver did what he told him to do.
Please install electro shockers on the zoom buttons of the cameras for storm chasers!!! God damned!! So much has been ruined by that... Once, they zoom in, you can´t see anything. No proportions, no shape, no movement (direction-wise)...
When u wanna hear the tornado roar but dem shitheads be screamin their lungs out. I've seen unexperienced kids handling these situations with way less screaming than some chasers.
God’s angles are the drivers of the winds. They know exactly which houses have to be wiped out and which ones to be saved. Our God is the One Who created us from ejected semen and feed us and He will put us to death. All you have to do is to follow our Land Lord’s rules. God is the Creator of Nature. Media is trying so hard to take away our Creator from our minds. Find the untouched message of God; if you are looking for happiness and security otherwise you are going to have accidents and disasters, and no one can escape from our creator. Nothing happens to you if you follow His rules, that is His system.
wish I could tag along with these guys. I love there intercepts and close calls. I have seen all there episodes and footage, there footage and what they do is amazing.
Without men like these there would be less warning, these men have saved lives before. Respect the Interceptors and Chasers.
Reed, you are a total spaz...but your footage is undeniably great. Another great success!
Not being a spaz....you know what to do and some people are hesitant, which is a natural human reaction to fear of the unknown. Great video and thanks for sharing!!
A great, engrossing video that leaves you hanging unfortunately. Where's the rest? I've got tornadus interuptus!
GO! STOP! BACK UP! MOVE FORWARD! WE'RE GOOD! NO WE'RE NOT! I THINK I LEFT THE IRON ON!......REED WILL YOU JUST DRIVE THE DAMN CAR AND LET SOMEONE ELSE FILM?
Boulderpits when I start chasing ima be screaming my head off too
Did anyone else notice the small, satellite tornado that formed really close to them at :31?
Yes, those are called secondary or suction vortices. You weren't seeing things!
Really amazing footage! You can see the multiple vortices inside the twister, like 5 of them?!
Awesome video dude! Keep up the great work! :)
vortex tornados are some of the most dangerous. they are very close to this. doesnt look it but they are. that tornado could end up shifting its path really quick
Why do u stop filming, when it will be so amazing and interesting?
That wasn't an intercept, but great footage!
probe intercept. he didn't specify which kind
Don't mind me asking, but what do you think an intercept is?
@@slenderbenji where you go in the tornado without being lifted I think
AWESOME video Reed🌪👍
Wow....incredible video....now if storm chasers could STOP SCREAMING and acting like spaz monsters....
Please believe me when I tell you that the vast majority of chasers are NOT screaming, rampaging control freaks like R.T.
I hope so
geonerd but you got to admit reed gets the best video footage other than pecos hanks of tornadoes
@General Rage It's pretty easy to poke your camera out of the window.
Incredible footage!
Up close and personal! You have nerves of steel :-)

The most annoying storm chaser in the world!
He yells at the other guys like their little kids, and bossy too.
eu nunca vi um tornado ,se comportar assim Jim?
I found the best way to get gratuitous yelling at my crew out of my system, was to take it up a notch with hi performance catamaran sailing: I screamed like a ninny for the first two years - but gradually - I got over ( most ) of it. Wow! I would shit in my pants. You guys are f**king crazy :D
The yelling, bossy guy ruined the whole vid
aww, poor baby!
Could NOT agree more.
yep, same here. i wanted to punch him in the throat. And yell at him to SHUT. THE FUCK. UP.
He literally ruined the vid.
Do you morons realize how loud the tornado and everything else is? That's why he has to yell. Most likely.
+Cryengine_X do you realize who the yelling dude was and he was yelling because its really loud for them and his mouth is close to the mic and those people werent listening
I'm from there. All of a sudden there's 1 or 2 others right by each other. It was an eventful night.
Tornado chasers can get close if they want to, it's there job to get the tornado on camera. There job also in titles to intercepting tornado's meaning to get very close to it. It would amazing but scary job to do though.
It almost like that beast didn't want to move! Be safe!
What category, EF-3 or 4
why did u bought all the tornado shrits in unturned ?
Wow you all be careful now that looked very close.
deploy deploy...no not yet...deploy?..no not yet...(spinning around inside twister) deploy NOW!!!...oh hang on just a moment...
Great,,video, the.best, you.all.did.just.great. plese.stay.safe, may.god.watch.over,all.of,you 😎😁😉😄😍😙🙄
So much adrenaline. Was the house damaged at all?
It was moving away from the house so I guess there was no damage or just a little to the outside of it.
Why did the video cut off so early???
Part 2?
That was incredible....wish they'd shut up
Should they go a little beyond the hill?

their shouting are so irritating
well thats reed for ya
Can u say

I knew u could
Van Zan Siegfried You know, they actually offer tornado tours you can book!
0:22 Sound from Twister
this dominator is fantastic estes caras são good.

+hebneh It's a multi-vortex tornado. Very dangerous, but mesmerizing.
Wow !!! How exciting
That guy seemed a little grumpy!

i would like to run in this tornado and fly !!!!
God damn reed always yelling
Amazing

You'd think they were getting pulled out of their cars and being sucked up into the tornado with the racket they're making.
You go do that and see how you react...
I have done it, and it was amazing. However, I never once started screaming like I was a mental patient.
Baphomet Well, I just think that's special...
+Baphomet i think it's kinda funny
+Baphomet Reed in this video wasn't screaming purely out of excitement. They were right up on the tornado and had the windows down, so the roar of the tornado would've just overpowered his voice if he spoke regularly. I have not a single problem with his performance here.
That thing was just grinding.
Here’s a thought, why don’t YOU get behind the wheel.
The tornado 🌪 was amazing 👏. However, I could've lived without the loud, obnoxious jerk who was screaming 😱 throughout the video.
We’re sure this isn’t the Greenfield tornado’s twin right? 😂
That look soo intense
Beauty

jquest43 your stupid for spelling stupid wrong xD
This is why I only like watching people video taping a tornado from their homes. These guys are terrible.
I know its a scary situation but the shouting, no thanks! It piles more pressure on the driver!
if his driver really had a problem , do you think he’d be driving? no.
He is the boss..
Too many people in the Dominator lol
Awesome video tho
reed u legend
They have been experimenting on this for this type of spinning vortex and they need to stop now, unless the homeowner has given the permission. And I wanted to see the damage to the home not the manmade tornado itself.
You sound insane please seek professional help.
What? How is the tornado man-made? You can't control nature dude.
um what......
Wow
Hey you yelling, please drive next time
Excellent footage, but all the shouting is kind of annoying and distracting.
I love tornadoes.do yall
dominater needs a brake job
likely ef4
They rated it ef3 when it had the potential to be well over ef4. I don't get this ef scale
All 3 dominators are coolbut i lile tiv2 better
Twice I t's only took
Reed, I don't know how you keep your drivers. You are constantly contradicting yourself."FORWARD! BACK! FORWARD!"
