@GamerKeags_YT Thanks for the reply and heads-up. I don't get the point if it cannot be bought though? Why would they make a monitor and not sell it to consumers? Just enterprise or something? Sad face
3D chat....with who!? lol. But the technology is cool for sure and can eventually be the 'norm' built into mobile devices like the iPhone, etc. I wonder if they are going to have parental controls on the Leia Dream app? ;) I do own the Lume Pad 1, so I am happy to finally find a review that compares some of the significant differences between the 1 and 2, with increased resolution, screen size and microSD integration. I too, am a big fan of 3D. I have an older LG 65" curved 4K HDR OLED 3D TV which eventually was 'destroyed' by burn-in thanks to a gamer friend of mine (even after I told him NOT to play his games on it, because he would often leave the game in pause mode with bright static graphics on the screen). I still have the tv since the majority of the time...I don't notice the burn-in but when a bright red background (commercials and some movies) appear, it's really bad and I just get angry with him over and over again! lol Also, I actually create content in 3D to sell. I have a small 3D camera (that also converts to a 360 degree VR camera) that I have mounted on a hand-held camera rig where I also shoot 4k video with my Panasonic GH5. So, I am able to shoot both 3D and 4K at the same time and offer both formats to my customers. Obviously...very few have the equipment to take advantage of the 3D but Meta is helping change that with their future (rumored) Oculus products and of course...products like this Lume Pad 2. Anyhoot...thanks for the great review and now it's time to take advantage of this Black Friday sale from Leia and grab the Lume Pad 2!
I can never understand why companies create a great product a then not bother to market or sell it properly. I bet there aren’t that many of these out there compared to a Galaxy tab etc. Why can’t you buy these in Curry’s?
This feature is coming in a future update to the LeiaPlayer media player app (probably the next update)! I use vuze xr to take photos, so I'm really excited for this feature. 180 videos are already compatible
Such cool tech. I wish they would make a monitor with this tech, like 32".
You can’t buy it but Leia is working on a 8k 3d 32” display

@@buenasondas1147 probably it’s just cause people would freak out over the price though I think they should sell one that’s like 1080p or 4k
This tech would be amazing for a large virtual pinball playfield display!

I wish they'd make a monitor with 3-D, like 32 inches and in4K.
Check out the 3D monitor just announced by Lenovo. More 3D monitors will be announced in the next year.
Many thanks for the alert. @@NimaZeighami

What about emulators, can it convert those to 3d on the fly too?
No. But there are emulator ports for Virtual Boy (VVB) and 3DS (Citra) emulators.
Can it play 4k top bottom 3D files or 8k?
For 3D 360 video, yes, it supports Top-Bottom 3D. 8K resolution also works, depending on the bitrate of course.
@@NimaZeighamithank you, do you know what bitrate is maximum for 8k 3d 360? If you wish I could send you some samples.
If i go to comic book website, do i get 3d effect ?
No, but if you download the comic book pages locally it can convert them to 3D.
I wonder how it would look if you were playing Xbox game pass on it?
YOu can play 3d steam games on in with moonbeam
