Jeff as you know I love your OCRP stuff but I’m confused...if the trooper was close enough to get a plate number and he thought it was Lamborghini and the plate was on a motorcycle? That doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me buddy. If it was a small piece of incorrect info I’d understand like wrong style of bike, wrong color, wrong clothing color...something like that. In my humble opinion.
because before this video starts, I was driving around forever with nothing happening. During this time it was called on the radio that a Lambo was the car we were looking for.
Here's an explanation of what happened: The unit that put out the origional APB said that the vehicle speeding may have been a sports car due to how fast it was going and how he did not get a good enough look at it. Jeff initiated this stop because he got a hit on a plate that was entered in the system for the APB. The origional officer got the plate of the speeding vehicle and attached it to the APB.
The thing that didn’t make sense to me was if the trooper was close enough to grabbing that guys plate he had to have saw the exact vehicle description. How do you get a Lamborghini compared to a motorcycle, I don’t get it
In real life, it could've been possible for the police to mistake the plate number on the car they were chasing, or the car they were chasing had fake plates that happen to match his plate. With a decent lawyer it would be thrown out because the visual ID of the vehicle they claimed it was didn't match the vehicle the plate was actually on.
Jeff, if you arrest a person (as you said when you cuffed the guy), you better advise him on his rights before you start asking about running from the police. This is custodial interrogation as defined in Miranda v Arizona, you can't force confession like you did. On the other hand, voluntary confession is totaly admissible even w/o the warning.
How is an image of the letters on a plate possible without knowing at least a basic description of vehicle beyond red? That breaks RP for me. What current technology gets just the plate numbers but fails to have anything beyond a red streak? If license plate is visible to the point of reading, shouldn't the camera be able to see the vehicle clearly?
No break RP here. ALPR entries are wrong all the time, unfortunately. Makes, models, numbers, owners, sometimes everything is so messed up one spends a full hour investigating.

If you are innocent why aren't you allowing us access to your vehicle? Because it's not my standard to allow my rights to be violated innocent or guilty. Simple as that, rights are rights and just because some one has a badge does not mean i bow down and allow anything that infringes on said rights. You want access get evidence and a warrant, its not my job to prove my innocence it's your job to prove my guilt.

I love all the civies RP, they're really fun and entertaining, but the LEO ones, some of the stuff that pops up is lowkey oh my god facepalm. I think it's how the whole RP server does things in general tho, because many times when he does civies RP it happens to him also, so it's just one of those things I guess. You can't really take things too seriously, it IS just a game anyway, sometimes I have to remind myself that :P

I don't think he cares much for it anymore. I think he owes it to the fans to address it instead of ghosting but he can do as he pleases. I am still here doing what I have always been doing. That won't change.
