The I'm okay mom when he sees Johnny is the best part of that entire story. You'd say that when you saw a parent.. Johnny is his dad. He felt safe.
Johnny kicks his own ass for being a crappy dad to Robbie, but doesn't even see he's been more of a dad to Miguel than that kids ever known.
@@tonyjackson4078 he sees that. He's trying to fix that. You can't undo the past. Ply make the future better.
Chosen can be the closest we can get to a Miyagi character. His dad trained Sato who trained Chosen, hopefully the same lessons went along.
The best part about cobra kai season is when you're done binging the whole season in a day, you sit and wait for the reactions from your favorite UA-cam creators. It's the best season of the year, better than Christmas. A tradition I devote my time to every year. Thank you guys!
It amazes me how much research that they actually did for this. Everything Silver said about Masataka Taketsuru (The Father of Japanese Whiskey) and Suntory were spot on. They could have easily made something up, but they didn't. Says a lot about the writers.
silver has traveled all over the world so he knows about a lot of cultures
I understood the Mexico arc perfectly and it ended on time in 2 eps. Miguel simply understood that this was not his place. His disappointment in his father was too great. I believe this story can be continued in season 6.
I was hoping we spent just a little more time in Mexico, but glad we got what we got.
Robby doing the Miyagi-do preparation before "eating" the last chili was an homage to what Daniel did before the ice breaking scene in KK2. Both were betting/contest situations at a bar in another country.
Chozen going off and telling Silver how it is, was such a bad ass moment. I thought for sure you were gonna nerd out Steve. Keep avoiding the spoilers guys, cant wait for the next reaction video.
The actor who who played young Sato said he watched KK2 and the scenes with Sato over and over so he could gwt the character right. He was spot on!
I love when someone takes their craft seriously. No matter how small the role.
Chozen was straight telling Silver "I am not Daniel. I WILL fuck you up!"
@@joscar062 Chozen won. Silver lost. But because Silver's a giant ass coward, he cut Chozen when Chozen got distracted.
I really really hope Chozen gets at least a mini series.
I was kind of proud that I thought, wait isn't "Kampai" Japanese for Cheers? Then I searched and found out "Karii" was the Okinawan way of saying it. Didn't realise Silver would use that against him though.
That was very clever writing right there. The writers on this show deserve an award for their attention to detail alone.
It’s basically the three fingers “tell” from Inglorious Bastards, only translated.
Remember chozen told Daniel that he had students to teach after he taught him the pressure point things and handed him a scroll.
The name of the episode is not “Mole”, it’s “Molé” (pronounced mow-lay). Which is a delicious sauce in Mexico. 😊😊
I thought it meant the food but it could be intended for mole infiltration into cobra kai
This reminds me of when I was at a Mexican restaurant, and I overheard someone at the table behind me say "Oh look! They have mole! Do you suppose that's an actual mole like the ones that dig in our garden?"
Finished it last night and I have to say what an incredible season!! So sad it’s over but you guys have got it to come!
Just a observation, Miguel left his backpack at Salazar house I guess he will look into it and find some type of ID, pictures or something that will make him realize that was his son and he will go after Miguel
This is the first time I’ve seen someone bring this up he will for sure come back.
This season is soooo amazing 🤩 I really hope you guys like this one!
Welcome back guys, wasn't expecting you to be reviewing this so soon, this season is crazy, I binged it all in a day!, one of those series that gets better every season. Got a feeling that's not going to be the last that we see of "Hector ". Great reaction as always 👊👍
You guys need to watch karate kid 4 with Swank all because of Mr. Miyagi. Yes its bad and abit crazy but Mr. Miyagi makes it well worth it along with some really fun moments!!! You need to react definitely!!
I cannot wait to see your reactions to the rest of the season. Lots of great action and terrific character development.
If they do a flashback at some point of Daniel and Mr Miyagi from the tournament in KK3 or do some homage to it via Chozen ("It's ok to lose to an opponent, must not lose to fear")...man I can already feel the emotions rising..
This whole season is about WAR, Silver vs Larusso, it's Karate Kid 3 part 2. It's been insane so far. Terry is one bad ass villain, one with alot of money and resources to fight a war. The call backs to Karate Kid 3 parallels to season 5 here so much. I'm glad they wrapped up the trip to Mexico in 2 episodes. You guys are in for a wild ride. Oh yes if you seen the trailer, Kreese does come back. But he's in Prison and that's all i'll say as you should know. Won't say when he comes back.
Been trying to space these out but it’s been hard this season has alredy been pretty good in my opinion having chozen as a comedic aspect is really great
One thing about Chozen's ultimatum and Silver's reaction; I didn't take that expression on his face as glee at a challenge. Rather, from the flash of his eyes and half smile he looked like a man barely containing outrage and fury while trying to control his emotions. Kudos to Thomas Ian Griffith, Terry Silver looked and felt absolutely terrifying.
Yup, even when they toasted and chozen said the wrong thing, Silver's eye twitch/facial tick was fantastic.
Silvers like the ultimate badass anime super villain
This series is getting better and better. I finished this season and WOOOOW just wait till the ending. Also I love nikkis hearsay shirt lol that's fantastic lmao mega pint🤣😭🤣😭🤣
Silver and Chozen stole this show man.
The fun never ends with you two!!! haha Cobra Kai? We just finished BETTER CALL SAUL. Did you guys do YELLOWSTONE?? I binged FOUR SEASONS this weekend. Love you both!
Really good Miguel never told him who he was . Dad will figure it out at some point I think though.
BOOM! Hell yeah, glad to see this up so soon after episode one.
they could've gone for a deep cover for chozen where he plays like he wants revenge on daniel before betraying silver, but you guys are right that he isn't exactly a real spy. he just has to go with the skills he has and the honor he's regained.
Also, if he went to CK talking about Larusso, that had make Silver rise a brow even quickly, I guess🤷♂️
the last words that Hector tells Miguel can be particularly painful; because with context it could be translated as "take care of yourself you little bastard " and to have your father (unknowingly) say that to you along with his rant it was the final nail in the coffin
Not really. It could be meant as a form of affection.
Similar to bitch or nigga amongst your friends
@@sylvester3018 it depends on the dialect and context along region so how someone would you the word in Mexico may be different in how someone in DR would use it the translation could be different HE MAY have meant it like that but Miguel could have taken it completely different The word cabron has many meanings I've recently found out
IM JUST LOOKIN AROUND FOR VIDS OF COBRA KAI REACTIONS AND SAW THIS
Finally finished all 10 episodes.. Season 6 will be the finale of it.. Chozen/Johnny = MVPs of this one.. Esp. with Hawk/Robby/Miguel.
@@therealwelfin Yeah well, looks like Miyagi dojo will win the international korean tourney on this one, unless Kreese will return with more of his psycho students from korea.
Notice how Chozen tells his story thin close to the truth - until he fucks up with the drink cheers...
Holy crap what a great episode. That Miguel scene friggin damn near broke me. And Chosen is an ultimate effing badass. How he lost to Daniel is beyond me. I hope he never goes bad in the storyline. Just awesome ep
Only gripe- they need to explain how Silver discovered who Chosen was. Basing it off of the whiskey was a little weak but……
There were so many theories before this episode that Silver was Miguel's father. That would have been far too much coincidence. The way Miguel's father was described in such vague terms throughout the series and with a dark business past is so similar to Silver's that it looks the writers were at least considering that as a possibility.
Johnny and Miguel reunion 🥺🥺🥺
I would love to see your guys reaction to Fury (2014) after seeing the reaction to Hacksaw Ridge
The scene where the kids are striking the sand I actually studied at a school that did similar training back In 01 right after I graduated high school dang I feel old. Anyway the way there striking the sand is to quick and it looks like there striking straight down and not at angle its sopost to be 3 strikes in a very slow and controlled manor along with special herbs to keep to keep your hands from brusing a mask to keep you from breathing the herbs cause it can make you choke if you breath them in an a rub for your hands after training...
Chozen was right about the temples. But go visit the tourist temple. The Gold and Silver temples should be seen at least once.
this season is incredible
this season is amazing
Chozen fights like an assassin. *I LOVE IT!* 😎
24:45 chozen blew his cover when he said that kari
If the MMA fighter ‘The Wolf’ seems familiar, it’s because he’s played by Eryk Anders, a fighter in UFC.
This season Is amazing
2:38 the captain of kreese also says he learned from kim sung yung on the 3th season
Excellent season!!!
22:11 I know right, it’s not like you’re sneaking to a prison or inside a police station
It was really unexpected that the Mexico plot ended already! I thought it was going to be the first 3 episodes but it turned out to be the first two episodes, just like how the Okinawa plot lasted for 2 episodes in mid Season 3!! It was great for Chozen to go undercover! It was fast for Terry to figure out who he was.
Definitely think more to come whether it's this season or a future season (yes ive seen the entire season ) this is a non spoiler post..
Well it’s Terry Silver he’s very very smart and the most badass villain In all of Cobra Kai
Either we get some more w/Salazar in the sixth season... the MMA angle fits with the likely S6 plotline... or the writers misfired with these two episodes whose character work could have been handled much more simply. Finding his "real dad" was at best a third-tier trait for Miguel up until the end of S4, and there's a million ways for Johnny and Robbie to have bonded or reconciled. So I really, really hope this was laying the groundwork for something bigger.
Love your guys' reactions to this series! I actually did comment on one of your earlier Cobra Kai reactions that The Karate Kid 2010 is actually a pretty good movie. It doesn't beat the original, but I would still say it's definitely worth the watch. One of Jackie Chan's greatest performances in my opinion. At the very least you should just watch the movie at least once, be it on this channel or on your own time, then you can shit on it all you want if you feel so inclined lol.
I think Terry recognized the wisdom being imparted to his champ by Chosen and then invited him back because he already suspected something was up.
Love you guys!!!!!
Terry knew it was Chozen because Miyagi-Do has it origins in Okinawa and Chozen is the current Master of the Miyagi-Do Dojo in Okinawa.
Can we take a fan poll for you guys to watch the karate kid with Hillary swank it's a good movie
I didn’t watch the last 40 minutes of the film
You’re gonna have to pay me to finish of that film
😅😅😅😅😅
14:33 I knew I wasn’t the only one seeing it
Totally here for this season with you. Love the channel!
Chozen is such a badass!! He took them all out. Chozen is more ruthless than Daniel. Remember Chozen knows the secret offensive way of fighting that Mr. Miyagi didn't want to teach Daniel. Yes I am a Miyagi girl too. 😊❤❤🥋🏆
As Chozen is talking about honor the camera switches back to Tory. It's not her fault that silver bought that referee. We got to look at her situation. I don't always root for all good characters, some of the best characters are the ones who are grey and not just black and white. I wasn't quick to judge Tory until I learned more about her.
I Sympathize with her characters because at her age and in high school back in the day was dangerous. I had to learn how to defend myself against the gangs and the others. Our situation wasn't ideal and it made me hate the world because no teenager should have to go through so much when most just worry about who's dating who or prom. It will probably take a while but I am not giving up on Tory.
Daniel didn't know if Kim sun young is a real person..but I thought viewers already know when captain Turner mentioned to kreese in season3
This season is really good! BTW, The remake of Karate Kid is not bad and really should have been titled The Kung Fu Kid, but the execs insisted on leeching off the name. The movie itself albeit outside the Karate Kid universe is decent -- and Jackie Chan is awesome.
I have that same shirt Stephen! ❤
I would still love to see y’all reaction to The Karate Kid with Jaden Smith
I think we're also going to have some "f*ckin' Chozen, dude!" Moments. He's a badass this season, and not to mention quite funny. 😄
# Johnny and chosen the best right now ❤️
Honestly if I was in a fight and the other person just kept coming at me and wouldn’t back down I would break both of their arms so they couldn’t attack me. I don’t know pressure points or a good way to reach them during a fight so arm breaking it is
They could quickly end Silver and cobra Kai by using an undercover cop as a mole to gather evidence to shut it down. But then again, it's just a TV series 🤣
cant wait for your reaction to episode 3
The karate kid with jackie Chan was actually pretty good. But you are absolutely right, he learned kung fu in that one.
Hello great review and looking forward to episode 3-10
"Now I draw line! No more expanding UA-cam channel! No more reactors! Do not challenge comment section! Do not go near UA-cam community! You cross line you will beg for mercy!"
Karate Kid 4 is effing hilarious but honestly, if you take miyagi out, youve got birdemic level absurdity 🤣🤣🤣🤣 like legit...
Tbf to the Jackie Chan/Jayden Smith karate kid, it's a fine movie. Cinematically better than the original with an almost identical plot with some minor changes, ie lessons & settings. Nothing wrong with it other than the fact it probably didn't need to be made.
Well that mma guy was the best there and half Johnny’s age. But also someone was holding Johnny from behind looked like while he got hit to which wasn’t fair.
Siempre me emociono con sus reacciones
Chozen as my favorite character.
Mine too, he was amazing
I went from despising him, to liking him, and now he’s grown into me
Y'all should do a reaction to The Next Karate Kid. I personally loved the movie.
I've been watching these 2 for years I love these 2 plus the boys next series cnt wait
Would be really nice to see Dutch again
The remake is really not that bad in fact I will tell you right now there are a few things they did better in the remake than they did in the original.
Nikki & Steven I literally enjoyed cobra kai season five it was my favorite season yet I can't stop watching it right now like man wow what a season that I watched wow cannot wait till season six comes out and see what is gonna have in-store for us later in the future.
22:44 you shouldn’t easily expect Miguel to just say I’m your son, he had to know him some more
25:35 see?
Terry is trying to teach karate to underprivileged children and Daniel can’t deal. He has manipulated Chozen to fight his battles.
Hot Chili to the eyes.
Just when I thought I knew all the martial arts moves🌶
You think you like Chozen now, just wait.
I liked him since season 3 this season just elevated my appreciation to Chozen as a character
25:43 it’s better that way, look at Miguel right now
11:38 not everyone understands different languages
When Chozen is angry at the end yelling at Silver... close your eyes and replay it... 110% you hear Sato's voice.
Keep watching, guys. Chozen gets even better.
He’s becoming my all time favorite
I liked him in season 3, but he’s really grown into me this season
I need a homie like Chozen because Daniel is at his lowest low in this season
you have episode 3 and 2 mixed up in your playlist.
Ok I’m not the only one who thought about the backpack.
Definitely watch The Next Karate Kid. Mr Miyagi is the best.
I personally love the new kk with Hillary Swank. Shows a completely different side of mr miyagi because he has to take care of a troubled girl. Your girls might actually love it.
Hey Nikki and Steven-- Reaction to THIS IS WHERE I LEAVE YOU? Movie? Adam Driver is my nephew. One of the best movies! Jason Bateman is his big brother in the movie ( : BTW Cobra Kai is the bomb!
Love you two. The best around.

I have a feeling this won't be the last time we will se Hector Salazar. They would not go through all that trouble just to introduce the character and just remove him. I am sure his goons told him that the "F.B.I" guys were asking for Miguel. Besides Miguel gave him enough info on him. Like he is a champion in California, Hector recognized something about Miguel and it wouldn't be hard to look him up.
Or maybe Hector comes back maybe not in this season but the next because he somehow knows Terry Silver. Remember Terry was hung on Coke and Miguel's father is like a cartel figure. He'll probably call his old buddy up but maybe Miguel's father has a change of heart and decided to go against silver. Remember Hector has his own fighters. I mean why introduce Hector and get rid of him in the first two episodes? Why not Torys father? I am sure Hector can already do the math.
Remember it makes sense that Chozen as a kid would put back the sand bag! It made sense to me immediately because Chozen doesn't learn and accept real honor till after he loses to Danny in karate kid 2!
