It's been awhile since I've done a stock FL Studio plugin tutorial. I wanna try to get back into doing more of these. I personally love this plugin. Hope the tutorial helps!
@@AnotherMonsterThank you for this video please do you have any videos on mixing specifically Eq vocal chains. I have issues with having consistent vocal mix. Especially with back up vocals when I have many Choir vocals they don't just sit right in the mix
First time watching a video of yours and I'm honestly blown away. Incredibly detailed but without filler. Well-spoken, informative, and with great examples of what you're speaking about. +1 subscriber
I had no idea you can do mid-side processing using FL Stereo Shaper, this is great! FL have SOLID stock plugins, my favourite DAW. Very informative tutorial, subscribed!
Hey dude great content! I have been searching for this video for a minute, mainly because I was looking for the mid side, I figured it out threw patcher, but that kinda sucks to do it that way cause it's a lot of extra steps. Anyways I thought you should know that you have TWO very important things in one video and the title didn't help lol. Sorry If it's annoying me saying that, just figured you would want to know, maybe you'll get twice as many views if you split it? Or maybe you don't care lol. Thanks for the videos again, you've taught me ALOT and just listening to my music from before I found your page to now is a world of difference, so again thanks!
Why is it so special to bring faders to -6? I mean why does it make you split mono and stereo when you bring to -6? And why the right signal still can be sent to channel 2 when you drag the right signal completely down at 8:30? Sorry for asking but I'm so confused at this part.
How did you create the side singal as shown because there was no stereo shaper on the supposed side processing channel, does the sidechain automatically feed the opposite of the mids into that empty channel or there is something i am missing?
A problem I have is that since I’m using a left right stereo shaper, when I play the song in a single speaker, it sounds off, is there a way to make the mono sound better while still having the stereo shaper effect
This tut is amazing but recently i ran into an interesting feature of this plugin. I used a plugin on a sample to widen it. And SECONDLY I used the stereo shaper splitter preset. I realized it split my signal into complete stereo and no mono. My question is this: is there any way to (1)process only the side without doing what you did or (2) without widening it with a previous plugin????
I’m having a problem, I heard this song “KYS ft. Yungster jack” and really liked the way the melodies in the beat sound like they’re duplicated and one is panned all the way to the left and one all the way to the right, I made my own beat similar and did exactly that but when I uploaded the audio to Instagram it turned it to mono and it’s like the melody isn’t even there, but when I screen recorded the song I was listening to it, you could still hear the melody just fine, i just need help with how I could make it similar to that melody in the song, where you can hear the melody just fine in mono, if you could give any ideas or tips it would mean a lot, thank you
I see you use it for only widening a sound in some parts of the video, my question is, cant you just use this feature in the mixer? Or does the widening effect differ?
it's a bit different. If you were to take a stereo signal you can make it wider in the mixer, but if the signal is mono then you can't turn it into stereo without a plugin like this.
Hello dude , I want ask you did you know how can i remove click and pops sound in audio file ? I try to remove it with edison but that’s didn’t work it’s change the sound help me please !
When i record my guitar sends mono signal and the sound comes out only from my one speaker. How can i make it stereo? Also everytime i plug my guitar all the project's sound comes out in onlu the one speaker. Why does this happens?
swthrhs giwtopoulos so you actually need to record in mono. Right now your trying to record in stereo but since there’s only one input source it can only record on one side. You’d need 2 mics or two input sources to properly record in stereo.
I have two separate guitar tracks in MP3 format both in stereo. I want to make each one so that guitar track 1 comes out of the left speaker and guitar 2 is on the right speaker.

SONU STARK thx dude!
@SONU STARK have you watched musicbylukas ? They have some pretty great stuff on there that's more geared towards getting signed
Man I’ve been waiting for this vid on Mid side for ten years, Fl studio can process and master anything

Thank you for this video🙏🙏... You made mide/side processing easy to understand... This really cool
Thanks Man! I love these kind of tutorials, like when you really get into the details. Keep Grinding.
TactHuz sweet. Definitely want to keep going with more of these
I was going to back and read the manual on this, in 10 minutes you've saved me hours of figuring out. love this channel

Finally, mid/side processing made simple. Thank you!
Nice dissecting! You really broke it down to a very nice level. Thanks!
I didn't know that you can seperate signal to Mid/Side in free Stereo Shaper, boosting high frequencies in side signal makes it even wider
Bumper210 thanks for the tip. Glad you could learn a little something!
Woah that's in the mid side patcher preset
@@moosikman4656 Now I know that too 😅
@@Bumper210 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I'm a nerd in patcher... So everything's familiar
Bro. Lifesaver. I cant use wider on my Fl 11
thank you !! I ve been struggling with stereo in FL, you helped a lot !

I came from Reddit, I'm subscribing for sure!
Ian Francisco thanks for subscribing!
This video covers the answers of each question which I got in my mind 3 sec earlier
COOL
should i be putting this on the master? or only things that i have in stereo

Goated video. Preciate the tips
Do you have to sidechain to this track for the mid side to work? Gonna try that out, thanks.
Love your videos man, keep up the great content :)
Patrick Suminski thanks dude. Will do!
dope video bro
Query is easy to understand and your video helps me. Thanks Monster!
Didn’t even need Patcher to mid side eq thank you because I’m still using producer edition 9
9:05 If you set it to mono, how are you getting a side signal in the 2nd channel?
Great video! Will this work for vocals recorded in mono? To make it into a stereo signal instead
It will, but you should use ozone imager instead. It’s a much better plugin for vox and it’s free
@@AnotherMonster thanks 🙏
BEST CHANNEL !!
Brilliant tutorial, thanks!
Good brother...Thank You you explained with basics...
Something in depth on gain staging mixing please.
Life-changing stuff
well described. Thanks
Wow, nice tutorial
What about the inverted signal? the fader slide down to minus?
How did you create the side singal as shown because there was no stereo shaper on the supposed side processing channel, does the sidechain automatically feed the opposite of the mids into that empty channel or there is something i am missing?
Great Video! Question: How can i hear the Side Signal in Mono? Is that possible? If yes, how can i fix that with the stereo shaper?
It's more convenient to do this mid side stuff inside a patcher, keeps mixer console tidy
Should I use the stereo shaper on the master channel?
Great tutorial! Subbed based off this video, alone. Great content!
Dowden Production Academy thanks for the sub! Glad you liked the tutorial!
Do you have another good substitute for it?
A problem I have is that since I’m using a left right stereo shaper, when I play the song in a single speaker, it sounds off, is there a way to make the mono sound better while still having the stereo shaper effect
Make the file mono merged bro. I mean in export settings use mono merged instead of stereo
Really great information. Thank you

Pan one hard left and one hard right. You don’t need this plugin
Great tutorial so powerful plugin honestly if you try to read from the manual how stereo shaper works .. you need psychologist
