My old (norwegian) middle school always used Poland as one of the destinations we get to choose from for our school trips ^-^ When I went 6 years ago, we traveled to Kraków and went to see the Wieliczka salt mine, Auschwitz, etc. It was a very memorable trip.

@@beepboopbeepp tusen hjertelig takk. Norwegian language is simple when it only comes to speaking and reading bøkmal, but some dialects can be confusing (especially bergensk). I am glad that there are so many people with different dialects in all this videos, because i will be already aware of all this differences when i will be in Norway. Norway used to send middle school students that where on their last school year of middle school, on a school trip to Germany to learn about ww2 and holocaust. she is probably born after 2000, the germany school trips were stopped in 2015. she might have had a difrent wiew of it if she had the chance to been there. 🤔
Her opinion is completely valid, even if she is a "colombian" has the right to not liking germany for whatever reason she might have. Get over it and learn about free speech.

And by mentioning her nationality I only mentioned her nationality to point out that she's from a country that wasn't even harmed or involved in the war as opposed to Jewish people which I gave an example of, so I thought that was quite unreasonable. She can hate Germany all she likes, but I have a right to give my opinion too.

@Bruh chaddeus yes actualy. They include text and you can pause the video to get a good look at it. I dont think you can learn a new languige completly by just waching these videos but its possible to learn at least some.
As always, very enjoyable video. I'm not at all surprised that most Norwegians have no interest in visiting the USA. What a change from my Norwegian grandmother's day, when the USA was the place to emigrate to.
@@geografisica - I've been to Norway three times, so far. From my conversations with my Norwegian family and their friends, I've learned that Norwegians absolutely do not hate Americans. They like our music, food, quite a few aspects of our culture, etc. But many Norwegians enjoy visiting other countries in Europe and Asia, which they consider safer, less expensive, and more exotic. I'm surprised that Portugal was not mentioned more in the video, as many Norwegians I know visit there frequently, with some owning vacation homes.

I am from Brazil, I have seen all the videos in this channel before moving here (it took me 4 weeks of self studies maybe), and because of that and Duolingo I could go straight to Norwegian level 2 when I applied for the Norwegian course at my university. So apart from the "not so daily contact" with the language (because in my lab/work everybody usually talks in English), I have been properly studying Norwegian for 8 months maybe.
1st one: Costa Rica, France, Italy, Spain... 2nd one: Spain, Barcelona, Thailand.. The comments tried to reinforce by saying that Americans claim to be Canadian whenever they go to foreign nations.

In addition that most of the world just can’t believe you guys let Trump be your president.

I just wish more people outside the US would start to acknowledge that Trump is not the President anymore and that we did vote him out. Also with that said, I also know that a lot of stereotypical Americans described are usually from parts of the nation that are generally more conservative politically like the southern states(which our country has a history of civil war in 1860-1864 which still resonates today). I like to think we're a lot more open minded than what media gives us credit for. Also the idea that all the countries hating the US appears to be more of a manufactured idea that the left wing media outlets have created too. I'm not ashamed of being from the US. It's my home and I won't desert for any reason.
