- Today we go over some common scams I have seen in the Offroad Space!
Some scams are on Facebook, some on Instagram, and even on the Jeep Groups! Be careful out there!
AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!
Facebook Groups Red Flags - Used Parts Sellers
1. Check Their Profile and see when it was created.
2. Check their Profile Picture to make sure they are Legit Person
3. Blurry Images are a giveaway that the account is fake
4. They will ask you to pay with Paypal Friends and Family.
Instagram Red Flags - Used Parts Sellers
1. Most of these profiles are fake
2. Their Account was created recently
3. Pictures of Parts are blurry ( Means they were screenshot and reposted)
4. They will ask you to pay with Paypal Friends and Family.

I actually got scammed about a year ago thrpugh a FB scammer. I was able to get most of my money back. But most people wouldn't. We need more people making videos like this one to stop all the scamming. Its really out of control! Thanks for making this video!

Yes, please do a 2.5 inch lift so I can get the correct items needed I'm planning to do a 2 inch and want to see what all is needed to replace or modify.
For the amount of shade that hets thrown at Rough Country id recommend the 4 imch lift! I bought the $800 package amd love it! I have long arms and Bilstines now but for a lift on a buget it served me well. Just DO NOT use the rear shock relocation brackets they'll snap your factory mounts!
Yea I think that kit is a good starting point that can be upgraded as parts wear out. Yea I’ve seen those snap!
That’s why I buy new parts or go to a junk yard. I do use eBay sometimes for used part. Definitely use eBay for new parts. Keep the great work.

I've been using the Supreme Suspension 2inch lift "pucks" for two years now. I bought them from a store on ebay that only takes PayPal. I have never had any issues. It's my daily driver for going on 3yrs now.
Facebook needs to step up with security and I have had a huge problem with pay pal....
Honestly! PayPal does have some issues but the best thing is never pay friends and family

I would do a 4 inch with drop down lower control arms like I did with mine it ride so much smoother with it being a short arm kit

It's not that hard not to get scammed on FB. In person and cash sales only. If it's not local enough for that it wasn't meant to be for me. Let the locals near the item score. I carry my pistol (cause south and meet at a safe location/bring somebody).
I only ise Facebook for the marketplace. I dont have any pictures or anything on my profile. Not gonna lie, i look like a scammer lol
