I tried once TouchGFX over 2 years ago, you can put some nice icons and buttons but it was pretty much all. I have seen some guy presenting on you tube how to display data from sensor but it was too complicated and limited. I did bunch of amazing projects using code provided with BSP, HAL, assembler. The idea is good but the package needs more work to be useful, you need to receive and display data, control other devices. I cannot see how to save some data to flash and to use extra RAM or just simple I2C or SPI communication with sensors with touch GFX. It is simply very limited to do anything.

Touchgfx is worst graphics tool. It takes moths or maybe years to learn.
Why touchgfx is not simple as nextion.

Have the absolute opposite opinion. Nextion has the worst graphic tool (however, they could make it better). Moreover, Nextion offers the worst displays I have ever seen for the price of a decent discovery board. I tried Nextion and moved to STM disco boards due to its stunning display quality and endless feature list. And it is basic C++, so you can modify everything. I agree that TouchGFX is hard to learn due to the C++ and messy code organisation, but invest a little time, and you will love it.
