      Exactly. I hope they gave this credit at the time. I was a big fan of Return To Forever in the 70s and their powerful jazz rock of great compositions. RIP Chick Corea.

    Fabulous! Knocked out back in 1975 when I saw them open for Elton John, the Beach Boys, the Eagles and Joe Walsh at Wembley Stadium on 21 June...best band of the day, no question...

    This is a BAND.
    Not a singer with backing musicians. Chaka Khan's the star, but all of them matter. They can all play, more than one of them can sing, they're up there letting you know that, and no one in the audience seems to have a problem with Chaka not getting every second of stage time.

      @@johnsoos6907I absolutely love Steve Priests performance there, he’s so campy and sexy, ooof he’s my favorite Sweet band member. Love his bass playing-voice too.

    Watching this during my morning workout, it's perfect for that, with "Tell me something good" being the only thind the Oldies channel will play, its easy to forget how funky Rufus was! As far as the headdress, I grew up in Tulsa and we like when someone, who wasn't getting shit off a horse, wore a headdress, made us feel appreciated.

    Jazzrock : also found it's birth ground in those fabulous 70's , the so called hippie years . Metal , reggea , ska, electric funk , rap and house all from that one glorious decade. From Lou Reed and Bowie to Alice Cooper . From James Brown to Luther vandross and from Zappa to Zeppelin and Sabbath .All had their glory days in the 70's . And were silenced by electronics in those horrible 80's .

    See how happy the audience was. No fear of violence like in today events. No cell phones and no social media. Was a great time to be alive and for good music. Was watching this the 1st time at about 9 years old. Been a fan since then til the end. Love u Chaka.

      André Fischer, nephew of Clare Fischer. Clare arranged the strings on Rufus' albums and later did all of Prince's string arrangements. Prince was a huge fan of Rufus.

    Chaka should be cancelled for appropriating indigenous American culture. the nerve! Even though this was about 40 years ago it does not matter. she should be ashamed and offer reparations to all Indigenous Americans immediately.
