21 round trips a day?! Wow. My home line doesn’t even get that many total trains. (Port Jervis line, 13 total weekday and 9 total weekend). And my home station doesn’t get skipped.
I'm surprised Garwood doesn't have more ridership considering over the last two ish years a huge apartment complex opened up, but I suspect the people that moved in are the type that will drive to work.
not much reason for putting in a better station....remember that the line involved.... Raritan Valley Line.... has quite frequent stops with some more heavily used than others.....this is a commuter rail line
A lot of time when you look at a station that has low ridership it fits the bill by being a piece of shit with like nothing there. Garfield, Teterboro, Mountain Ave, Mount Tabkr

Cranford actually used to have 6 tracks total, 4 tracks for platforms and 2 middle tracks
