@@Zamdy2 you fw the 6’8 more? Idk if I should fw my all around buy defensive centered 6’8 with qfs HOF or a 6’9 but more of a dunker (cos 6’9 tier finishing badges)
I think the 2k builder this year is the best one I've ever experienced. The only thing which they (in my optinion) screwed up a bit is the finishing tier levels. This makes the 6'9 so much more versatile then the 6'8s. If atleast one of the badges would be tier 1 or 2 for 6'8 then there would be even more versatility across builds.
So I made the other LeBron Build on your 2klab site heat lebron and it was the best build I had. I could do everything pass shoot rebound defense it was an amazing build I can't wait for nba2k24 and your lab builds. It came out as a 3-level scorer and every time I felt like the best 3 level anyone has seen. I'd have rec randoms amazed and most of the time be the best player on the floor.
i got a 6'9 SF 2 way 3 level scorer pg and tatum build. I can shoot, dribble, drive, dunk, play lockdown d, steal, block, and rebound. I balanced all my attributes out so i could do everything

Started the year with a 6’9 point forward that can shoot as it’s been a few years since I’ve run a point forward but made the switch to a 6’9 defensive beast / slasher that I’m still shooting lights out with. It’s funny to me how people say it rules this 2k as if it’s new bc I basically mimicd the build I came up with at the end of last year & I was borderline averaging a 5x5 in the rec with that build, essentially doing the same this year as well. Just a fun build that’s most close to how I play ball myself
I'm doubting between the first build or the 99 dunk one.. I'm not the best shooter so will the diff between the 83 and 89 3pt shooting impact my shooting that much or just slightly? because the diff in dunking between the builds does indeed make it muuuch easier.. Thanks!
I have yet to build it myself or watch someone else who got a smaller player build, seems like everyone is 6'7", 6'8" or 6'9". Is it completely not viable to have a 6'3", 6'4" guard anymore?
Small builds are viable. Just different. You’ll be faster than everybody on the court so you should be an offensive nightmare. And if your defense is solid enough, then you should be able to lockdown others builds in and around your height. The tall matchups are naturally stronger though, so if they have a high enough strength and gold clamp breaker, don’t expect to clamp them up as much as a smaller build, unless they just suck at dribbling and completely crippled their acceleration and off-ball speed in order to chase you down. But it’s even worse if they have the bully badge and just drag you down to the hole. It’ll be a mismatch on both sides. Gotta be careful when driving to the paint for a layup or dunk. The 6’8-6’9” builds, if they have chase down artist, can keep up from behind when blown by and swat your shit on regular layups/dunks attempts. For the most part, it should be a limitless take-off dunk or a reverse baseline dunk. Either that or get creative with your layups and do spins, hopsteps, euro lays, up and unders, pumpfake, etc. to get them up in the air first so that you can either go up, run back out for a mid-range or 3pt shot or kick back out to the perimeter.
The best all around 6’9” build, hits the right thresholds. 6’9” 185 7’4” 63, 80, 93, 68, 25 (16 badge points use +4 for 20) 70, 85, 69 (18 badge points, more than enough for shooting if you’re a decent shooter) 75, 87, 75 (20 badge points, if you’re the primary ball handler, lower rebounding for more) 65, 86, 85, 81, 84, 69 (23 badge points) 81, 81, 41, 82, 91 (+4 to each with gymrat badge) The badge points are set to get the most important badges first and then core to get all the important badges. I’ve not seen a better “all around” build on UA-cam. I play it at SF, but the build can play at the 1-4.
