Mantis has only two rules: Steal or Score your way to victory. Collect matching cards by stealing or scoring until the winner has 10 cards in their score pile.

Very simple but very fun. Playing with my two teens. Our only issue was with three people playing scoring only ten cards for the win made for a very short game. We tried upping the winning number to twenty cards and also playing until the draw pile was depleted. We preferred 20 scored cards for the win. Made the play last a bit longer but not so long that we were looking forward to it ending. This one is going to be a weeknight staple for a few quick rounds after work and before bedtime.
My family plays it similar, but instead of just playing the cards and stealing them, we try to guess the card color and steal the one we guessed (if we guessed right). If we didnt guess right, we dont steal it and they keep it.. seemed more interesting

For 2 players: play to 15 points and if you successfully steal you get to take another turn. (As per the game rules)
Hello! this is a game suggestion I thought it would be awesome for more exploding kittens variants! like exploding mantis or exploding neanderthal exploding bears/babys (I really want a exploding mantix :)

Ohhh a group of us played this game and we left our score pile face up and whoever got 10 of one colour was the winner. The game would last a little longer doing it that way.

We just bought mantis after watching this! However, I got a game question. When scoring, does it HAVE to be 3 of the same color? Or can it even be 2 if the colors match?

But if it doesn't go to your score pile and it goes to your tank... After you've stolen from another player. It didn't specify if you can move those to your score pile afterward... Or what to do with those cards now that you have them in your tank. Which all the other cards you can use to play the game with so is it because you want the other players to have the advantage to play and then that way you don't like win from stealing?
Unless it's that once it's in your tank. Then when you take the top card from the draw pile which I imagine would be the only way to do this after you've played the round prior. If that card matches What you've stolen well then you have no other choice but to put in your score pile after that.
Do you have to have at least 3 in order to move your cards to the score pile?

Can you make more expansion for Exploding Cat
One thing that is not clear, is when you decide to go for a steal, do you have to announce the player you're attempting to steal from before or after seeing the color of the card (white side).
Also, the score pile can be spread out for everyone to see, instead of showing it every time someone asks for it.

Hey I was thinking of you guys making rabbids invasion and exploding kittens. Put together an then it would be exploding rabbids and maybe a new action card called ‘’prank’’ so when you put that card on the deck you can choose a person to prank so you choose someone and you can choose one of their cards they can’t use for two turns and once they end those two turns you can finally use that card. Oh and also you can’t see there cards your gonna have to guess one of their important cards and if you two cards it would be a double prank and if you have got three prank cards it would a triple prank so you get to guess which card is there important three times Sam with double prank you guess two. Thank you
