Ready? Alaskan here who watched Gomer play high school for East high before he left Alaska. I was fortunate to get to know his Dad, and uncles in Anchorage and drink out of the Stanley cup at the crossroads after winning the Stanley cup in 99! No crap!😉👍

Funny tidbit. The scar on Gomer's eye was the first time I ever did stitches on anyone back when he was a rookie with the Tri-City Americans and I was doing my Sports Medicine internship. Idk who was shaking more. Gomer or me.....................................................................

Don’t worry , Biz knows someone that can work on his posterior chain….. with a bit of a lazy hand.
He was the assistant on their team last season... they won the championship. [SURREY EAGLES] . This year 2024-25 he only has like 5 returning players and has them in 2nd in the coastal. Gomez doing a damn good job with this Surrey team in 24-25. They are hottt went from 7th to 2nd.

Been seeing it a lot in the BCHL lately. Kyle Turris in Coquitlam, plus last season Glenn Anderson and Cliff Ronning coached Powell River for some time.
this was great. gotta get biz to more of those smaller jr teams around north america.
This was a fun one. I miss working in junior hockey. Unique experiences and great people.
Can vouch for Surrey on this one. I volunteer gameday with another Vancouver-based BCHL team and I cover for them from time to time. Always great to talk to no matter what rink they're in.

The Surrey Eagles have had huge success expanding operations in the past year, from commentators to players.
