I still remember hearing this song for the first time watching the trailer and thinking "GOD DAMN, OK Capcom. They ain't playin' around with this one. It's gonna be HOT!!" Now 7 is my number 1 favorite Resident Evil title in the whole franchise.

The thing that knifes the guy at the end of the demo and then screeches seems very Lisa Trevor-esque. Plus, she had Nemesis-level capabilities by the time she 'died' in REmake; there's stuff about how they hit her with a tank round and she survived. So I could easily see her surviving and making her way south; given Raccoon City and the increasing bioterror stuff worldwide, it'd be easy for her to slip under the radar; and her whole thing is 'family'.
Outlast: chops your fingers off Resident Evil: we can go further than that "chops your whole hand off" I still don't understand how did he get his arm back though. He started getting infected at last of the game
SkidZerO it's the magic juice. Jack cuts off your leg if he catches you at certain points and gives you the med juice to re attach it so he can chase you again. After all it's no fun chasing wounded prey.
i don't know why but i thinks maybe he has infected because when you go to took arm d-series you will see her leg of eveline whenyou turn back.............and yeah it's just a game he can make whatever they want xDDDD (Sorry for my language i'm thai people)

I am so convinced that this resident evil will be a true remastering of the series just like resident evil 4 was. It's truly sublime and I'm full of anticipation for what the next installment of the series has in store for us. Simply playing the demo on the ps4 made me realize VR is how resident evil was meant to be played. From what I saw in the demo, the game seemed to have a very strong inspiration in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I think I understand about how it will be to adapt to the new generation, no characters like Leon, Claire, Chris or even Jill, they want to spend a fear like in the first game only that even greater, because you only have a flashlight and be disarmed and not knowing what the enemy in the midst of darkness. (Sorry my bad english)
I think the classic characters will appear, but at the same time I think they need to introduce new cast members or otherwise you can't really get that horror feel anymore; when all the characters are used to seeing these horrific things, it becomes less 'agghhh!' and more 'gotta kill this'.
It's been confirmed that you will not be completely unarmed. You can even see a smoking shotgun in the trailer. Granted it's during the pre-rendered CG part of the trailer but it's still meant to offer clues as to what's in the game. They've said that combat will be more scarce because of the lack of items required for combat i.e. bountiful ammo and tons of guns.
I don't mind if the game is in first person. I don't mind if it's a big departure from series traditions. The atmosphere is perfect and the scare factor is definitely there, which is what I want from a Resident Evil game right now. Ever since 5 my interest in the series has been decreasing with only a quick revisit in the series for revelations. And after the shit show that was 6, I didn't even care about 7, I was done... until I saw the e3 trailer for 7. That gave me hope that this could be the Resident Evil 4 of the series, where it looks different from previous instalments, but comes out masterfully and makes you feel stupid about ever doubting it. Please don't disappoint Capcom, I want this to be amazing :)

im thinking its a prequel and the ending of the game will lead up to the events of Resident evil one. Its probably going to be a big twist. Doesn't it make sense? Why would a civilian be armed to the teeth with weapons when first discovering the zombie virus? Or even better! remember before resident evil 1 when they talked about the hikers in the mountain that got lost near the lab and were eaten? that too could have a tie in with this story. either way i'm totally supporting capcom for this change. i love it.
While it would be interesting to get a prequel to RE1, the tape in this game says "january 2017" and capcom already announced that the game takes place in 2017.

Awesome Makeover from this classic childrens song.
From what I saw in the demo, the game seemed to have a very strong inspiration in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I think I understand about how it will be to adapt to the new generation, no characters like Leon, Claire, Chris or even Jill, they want to spend a fear like in the first game only that even greater, because you only have a flashlight and be disarmed and not knowing what the enemy in the midst of darkness. (Sorry my bad english)
I think the classic characters will appear, but at the same time I think they need to introduce new cast members or otherwise you can't really get that horror feel anymore; when all the characters are used to seeing these horrific things, it becomes less 'agghhh!' and more 'gotta kill this'.
It's been confirmed that you will not be completely unarmed. You can even see a smoking shotgun in the trailer. Granted it's during the pre-rendered CG part of the trailer but it's still meant to offer clues as to what's in the game. They've said that combat will be more scarce because of the lack of items required for combat i.e. bountiful ammo and tons of guns.

I don't mind if the game is in first person. I don't mind if it's a big departure from series traditions. The atmosphere is perfect and the scare factor is definitely there, which is what I want from a Resident Evil game right now. Ever since 5 my interest in the series has been decreasing with only a quick revisit in the series for revelations. And after the shit show that was 6, I didn't even care about 7, I was done... until I saw the e3 trailer for 7. That gave me hope that this could be the Resident Evil 4 of the series, where it looks different from previous instalments, but comes out masterfully and makes you feel stupid about ever doubting it. Please don't disappoint Capcom, I want this to be amazing :)
If you like the direction RE4 took, you have no right to complain about RE5 or 6.
I'm amazed that this was actually a song resurrected for this game and not just a song they pulled to be the theme.

im thinking its a prequel and the ending of the game will lead up to the events of Resident evil one. Its probably going to be a big twist. Doesn't it make sense? Why would a civilian be armed to the teeth with weapons when first discovering the zombie virus? Or even better! remember before resident evil 1 when they talked about the hikers in the mountain that got lost near the lab and were eaten? that too could have a tie in with this story. either way i'm totally supporting capcom for this change. i love it.
While it would be interesting to get a prequel to RE1, the tape in this game says "january 2017" and capcom already announced that the game takes place in 2017.
