There will never be days of cheap ammo like there used to be, and it will only get worse no matter who's in office. Buying ammo in bulk is better than investing in the stock market. Rob Ski at AKOU got one recently so it will be interesting to see how it compares to the other PSA AKs. I'm not really in the market for a PSA AK but the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned when it comes to the the number of AKs on the market. It'll help bring prices down.

I bought a SAM7r and a SAM7sf from Atlantic. I also bought 30 Polish steel mags from them. The rifles and mags have been flawless even with cheap Tula ammo.

I don't know why you all complaining about finding ammo it not that hard. Just happen to walk into the gun shop today. They had like two full pallets full of 500 round case of brown bear 7.62x39. for $200.00 bucks. Yeah a little pricey but I picked one up anyway.
How does this rifle compare to the Kalashnikov Kr103? In my opinion, the Kr103 is the best American made AK available and I'm curious how this stacks up, is this better or worse?

I bought one of these last week and I have about 8 different kinds of mags. So far the only one that works with it is the one it comes with which is a ProMag. And it even is tough to get in and release. It really pisses me off that all my other mags do not work in this. My Yugo ak so far takes every mag.

Will it last longer than my RAS 47? Mine when almost 5,000 rounds before closing on a no-go gauge. At about 6, 000 rounds the right side of the front trunnion started chipping out.

Why am I looking SERIOUSLY at an AK-47? I've had it with failure to feeds. Face it, if you spit wrong the temperamental AR platforms will jam. Is the AK perfect, nothing is perfect. But if the SHTF (and now we're on track in 2023) then this is the rifle to have.
Dpms ARs are known to need to be "put on a lift to fix all of the problems" after a few hundred rounds due to soft metal (Also cracking in the receiver around the takedown pins is a given) Is this DPMS quality or PSA (which I'm not sure is much better, looks great, but if Century cant do it right even on Milled ones, why expect PSA and DPMS to be able to? Why cant someone just start back getting Romy parts being Century now is doing the VSKA series and their Wasrs and Dracos are US made now! Scary to think of a stamped POS opposed to a milled POS if a Kaboom were to happen! I know these are likely to fill the void of Arsenl SLR-107Rs (and FRs with PSA) but can someone actually make them from parts abroad that are mil spec tolerances and material????? We all know US made AKs are epic fails! IDK why its so hard to do it right, likely materials used here to save pennies, when the ones abroad are only like 75-100 bucks with wholesale contracts Ive read so canr cost too much! Yes, your Arsenal costs about 100 bucks and that is why the paint job sucks, but its an awesome deal to the ones importing them, not so much to the customers whom the company watches gunbroker value of their stuff that hasnt been imported in years and then brings stuff back at the nearly the same gouged pricing! PSA ak's are much better quality than any Romanian import. Plus, they stand behind their rifles. I've never needed their customer service but I'm glad it's there.

@@ethinos2719 Even if you fire corrosive primed ammo, all you need to do is neutralize the corrosive salts with ammonia or hot soapy water. Just like cleaning a black powder rifle. Rinse with hot water, clean and lube the weapon as normal. I've shot thousands of corrosive rounds over the last 35 years. From 303 British, 7.62x54r, 9mm, 7.62x51, and 7.62x39. As long as I cleaned the weapon properly, I never had any issues. I've bought it at times because it was cheap, or readily available. The only problems I've had with it was some of the 9mm had hard primers that needed to be struck twice, and I had one hang fire with old WW2 303 British ammo. Other than that, it's been good for plinking, and the M67 Yugoslavia AK ammo is some of the best milsurp for defensive applications available. Anyhow, I just wanted to let you know that corrosive ammo isn't always a bad choice.

I got a Hungarian AMD 63 for $430. No AK should sell for 1k.

Inter Ordinance Inc. made AK's and AR's. The AK'S were bad news. Never heard much about their AR'S. I'll stick with imports.
