Stared driving 50 years a go with a 36 inch crawl thru...good old days?...ya right.
Never spent a night in mine but im glad we have it those winter storms can sneak up on a guy.
Something about your style makes me wanna buy a Pete’ for a daily driver... with full lockers of course!
Hell yeah 👊 😎
Great info.
This video was very helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
The other plus is an ultra cab (think that's what it's called) with the higher height makes for an extremely roomy day cab once the bunk is off.
My owner operator buddies they run the short flat top sleepers they haul regional with most nights they are home. I've seen lots of over the road guys the size of belugas
Where can the 44 inch be found?
Hey Mike, I’d like some specific info concerning my truck and swapping the sleeper, if you have time I’d like to contact you about this matter. Thanks! Great video!
Can you do videos of short hood trucks?
what's the biggest size truck sleeper you ever seen?
A custom sleeper that was like a travel trailer on the back. lol
Because the 567 and the new 537 share the same cab is it possible to put a 58" sleeper on the 537?
Yes although it will require new mounts.
i am trying to surprise my father who is rebuilding a 1972 Kenworth . he has been looking for a 20 by 30 inch opening sleeper. but i have the slightest clue when it comes to anything about semi's or locating parts but if any of you can point me in the right direction on where i can located one and potentially buy it would be really really appreciated . i live in Nebraska pretty much dead center of the U.S. so if i have to travel couple states over to find and buy one thats no problem. thank you for your time .
so does that change the BBC measurement.?
well the BBC is the same but you have to add 2.2" for the sleeper boot and 36" for the sleeper.
On a 567 with the 44 inch sleeper is the dual exhaust up the sides functional
No it's not.
👍😉
30 inch would be the average width of a bed in a european truck, but this truck is way better looking, have you ever been in a new European cabover?
Yes! I had the pleasure of cheaking out a DAF cab over in 2019 when I was at Paccars inovention center.
@@mikethetrucknut That's pretty cool
Honestly, why buy anything else then a peterbilt anyway? No matter what👍
