That's a good point. To be honest, I lack the recording equipment to adequately capture and analyze the sound. I can only provide my subjective opinion. While my Yeti mic is decent at capturing voice, it wasn't really able to capture this well. I did try but ultimately decided to cut the sound clip. What specifically would you want to see tested? Maybe it's possible for me to look into a different testing scenario if I take a look at another soundbar in the future.
IMO this is the best PC soundbar you can get for around $50. Sounds great for games and music. Nice warm sound and decent low end provided by a bass port in the back. Can be used with a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Does not play well with USB hubs.
Hey PugPower! I agree, this is definitely bringing the value for money here. The GS5 soundbar can get a little bit louder but the GS3 is likely good for most gamers.
Sorry for the late reply here! I am not sure exactly as I don't have a Creative Stage SE to compare to. I do see the Stage SE is powered slightly differently with a little bit of a larger total max power output and it comes with a remote though. Did you end up picking one of these up or are you still researching soundbars?
Great video, first time buying a soundbar but I need to ask because I have visual snow syndrome, can I turn off the rgb light completely? Also how bass going, better than monitor build in repros? Edit - I also saw a blue light in the right corner, please say it can be turned off I'm mostly on headphones but it's not good to wear them all the time, I'm now changing monitors to MSI G2422C and they don't have any built-in audio system.
Hi! You can cycle through the RGB modes and completely turn off the RGB lighting. I cut that footage out but you can do it :) The bass is definitely better than any built in monitor speakers that I have ever heard. For a ~$50 USD sound bar, I think its quite good for gaming at your desk.
Should I buy gs3 or gs5 I want to use it for my pc but there is no review for the gs5. But specs wise it shouldnt differ so much that it justifys the price diffrence. THE GS3 beeing 44€ and the GS5 69€ I don't think the 60W is that important
Sorry for the late response here! The GS5 is essentially a larger unit with more power. Did you end up with the GS3 or the GS5 or were you waiting for holiday sales?
@@Legentix Nice, really comes down to your usage, of you have a larger space or the soundbar won't be particularly close to you, the GS5 is the better choice. If you will be sitting relatively close to the soundbar at your desk for example, the GS3 is plenty powerful.
Can you change the volume or do you have to adjust the volume on the PC when plugging headphones into the bar? Edit: I figured it out on my own, yes it does work. I bought this thing and it is unbelievable, I cannot believe how amazing the sound quality is from something that small, it is crazy good. I had the Logitech Z150 before and they sound like shit in comparison to this. Wow, thanks for that video.
Hey Captain Kebap! Somehow I missed this comment, sorry! Yup, as you saw, you can change the volume and yes, this is a SUPER high quality soundbar at an extremely fair fair price.
You could use it that way but I think this is geared towards gamers looking for a sound upgrade. For that purpose, I think it's a solid upgrade over older/cheapers 2/2.1 speakers
Hey! I would have loved to and I did originally record a sound clip but I had a lot of trouble capturing the audio with my microphone in a way that sounded good. The bass IMO is decent but the next model up in the GS series should be able to produce a little more bass if that's of more importance to you
It's crazy to me how people can unbox soundbars and NOT test their sound

@@STSI dunno man, listen to it for 5 minutes (audiophile first, bass song second), record it with the mic 1.5m away from it, and give us your opinion

The GS3 sound bar doesn't have a battery, it's powered by USB-C.
