I religiously run my stored generators every three weeks. It did not keep my Honda generator from needing service to unclog the carburetor. The service guy asked what stabilizer I use. Told him Sta-Bil. He said, "Change over to Pri-G and you won't have this problem again. Keep using Sta-Bil and I'll see you again one day". That was about 8-10 years ago. Been using Pri-G since then, and 100% great starts and no problems. When it is time to replace my stored gas, 1-1/2 year old Pri-G treated gas runs great in my Jeep Wrangler and mower. And that is gas treated from a Pri-G bottle that has been opened for a lot longer than 3 years. Pri-G is a five-star product.
Been Using Pri-G for years, and yes it really works. I have several 5-gallon cans of regular 10% Ethanol Gas that are over 4 years old and it still works great in my generator, lawn mower and other small engines. I re-treat yearly as per mfg recommendations. Highly recommended.
As a prepper, mechanic, retired heavy equipment operator, forest timber worker, I've seen and used many fuel stabilizing chemicals through my 44 years of employment and personal life. "FIRST", my long term/rain forest (Washington's Olympic Peninsula) fuel storage opinion is NON ETHANOL FUEL. I won't gamble with the ethanol crap. The extreme cost is worth it to me. Our present world wide condition is way too important. Early on, Sea Foam was my go too for my 2 cycle saws, generators etc and it worked great keeping my 2 cycle engines running for a few months. My employer wouldn't support us using expensive, non ethanol fuel. However, Sea Foam's longevity was not what I wanted with regular, 87 octane 10% ethanol fuel. Sea Foam didn't seem to perform as well after a long winter work season in the 100 inch plus rainfall, forest environment ...I found Pri-G. Again for "my" personal use, my bulk, prepper tanks are filled with 92 octane, non ethanol fuel with the recommended percentage of Pri-G. I'm now 3 years into my fuel's idle storage condition and my 6 month fuel effectiveness test, reveals my stored fuel runs my 4 cycle and 2 cycle small engines as well as when the fuel was fresh. For what it's worth...
According to PRI-G, their website they say fuel refiners add it to the storge tanks, because that fuel may sit for 2-3 months before it gets shipped out.
You got the seafoam completely wrong on amount treated. How much Sea Foam per gallon for storage?1 ounce per gallon For stabilizing fuel, add 1 ounce per gallon. How did you know this product did u make that mistake. Am I missing something?????
PRI G sounds like the bomb, except that it's so concentrated the average Joe would probably end up having to throw a lot of it out because it would go off before you could use it..
So this is not advice just personal experience but I have done exactly that without any side effects. I just use pri as my fuel treatment and seafoam as my carb cleaner
Use the PRI-G and quit wasting money on Seafoam. I used Seafoam for over 10 years and have switched to PRI-G for over 23 years now have not had a problem since using only ethanol gas. Ethanol free is a waste of money when you use PRI-G.
Taryl fixs all you tube channel.fuel additive experiment Has a 2 yr experiment. It is great. I was using sea foam also but not as good as you might think. I do still us it for cleaning out carb. Maybe check out.
Been using Pri-g in My Canadian cabin for over 10 years and it WORKS! Restored 20 gal. of bad fuel my neighbor had, used it all! Great product
That’s great to hear. Shout out from a fellow Canadian :)

Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge I always appreciate people with experience sharing their findings
I have been using PRI-G and PRI-D for many years. I just filled my gas truck with PRI-G fuel I treated 4 years ago. Truck is running great.
Thanks dp I really appreciate hearing that
priG used it for years!
No stabil, it caused Ethanol precipitates into solids clumped in line filter mesh...
Nice initial comparison. It will be nice to hear your thoughts in a year or two. Take care.
Hmmm, that PRI-G sounds like some good stuff to have on hand. Gonna have to get some to have on hand
It certainly makes some bold claims
According to PRI-G, their website they say fuel refiners add it to the storge tanks, because that fuel may sit for 2-3 months before it gets shipped out.
What you didn't mention was, 10ML (less than a 1/2 oz) will treat 5 gallons. That's HUGE.
You got the seafoam completely wrong on amount treated. How much Sea Foam per gallon for storage?1 ounce per gallon For stabilizing fuel, add 1 ounce per gallon. How did you know this product did u make that mistake. Am I missing something?????
Oh my gash! You just answered so many uestions. Thanks Tim!!!
Isn't the magic ingredient in this NAPTHA like Coleman fuel?
I have 89 octane gas stored and treated with stabil. Can I add pri-g to the gas with stabil together?
Yes it doesn't hurt anything
I will definitely give it a shot.
I wish there was a simple way to measure their claims for effectiveness but it certainly sounds like a good product
PRI-G / How is it with GAS/OIL MIX? (Chainsaws)
Works excellent. Have not touched the carburetor on my Stihl KM110r 4 mix in 23 years.
PRI G sounds like the bomb, except that it's so concentrated the average Joe would probably end up having to throw a lot of it out because it would go off before you could use it..
@mordeth1964 no it lasts longer than 3 years. I had my first bottle for over 10 years
@@jasonbusch3624 Good to know. Your comment is much appreciated. Thank you!
Can we mix Seafoam with PRI-G. Say I've treated and stored gas for two years and want to clean out the fuel system. Is it OK to add the Sea Form?
So this is not advice just personal experience but I have done exactly that without any side effects. I just use pri as my fuel treatment and seafoam as my carb cleaner
@@TOOLMANTIMSWORKSHOP Can't get an answer from, Consumer Technical Support

I too use 1/2 oz pri-g and 1 oz seafoam per 5 gallons and rotate about once a year with no problem.

Any update as to how the product is performing?
I roar ate my gas yearly and use it in my 3 year old ram 1500 not issues whatsoever and I use ethanol gas since it’s all I can get in Alberta canada
@@TOOLMANTIMSWORKSHOP So I take it Pri-G is your recommended fuel treatment product?
@@ts6640 yes it is

I will. Thanks always looking for good channels to watch
Quit wasting money on Seafoam it has alcahol in it also. The only way to clean a carburetor is to take it apart and ultrasonic clean it.
Thank you for this video.
How is it with ( GAS /OIL MIX )???
Works excellent
turn the music level down
seafoam is for two stroke out boards the ingrediants do nothing with todays fuels-- at least scotty kilmer knows what he talking about
PRI-G is a chick magnetic. Treat your gas and your gas will treat you... in a special way.
Chickanic recommends ethanol sheild
