the remover doesn’t leave any residue but there is sometimes residue left over from the extensions themselves. idk why that was so hard for y’all to process
I’ve had tape ins before lots of hair stylists do it this way. My hair still remains the same as it was before I got tape in for 4 years straight now. My hair is very healthy and my hair is also really thick. Has been like that. Trust it doesn’t hurt how she is taking it out.
Shes one second away from being bald. One wrong move and she’s going to wake up with her a hair all over the pillow. Look at how thin it is. This is a shame and as a stylist maybe give her some advice on how to maintain the strands she has left.
She should not be ripping it like that.. the oil/remover should sit for a few seconds to help separate the glue. She rips it like that she’s ripping the natural hair.
it’s not the tape-ins that are making the hair thin, if anything it’s the way the hairdresser is removing them. but she could have thin hair for other reasons too
@@pReCiOuStHePiMpCeSsno, it’s not because it’s not being done properly. Ripping it out like this thins the hair. The oil is supposed to sit longer so the glue slips out. Her technique is further thinning the hair.
She said gently then rips that ish. She said “doesn’t leave residue but leaves residue”. Look at that girls hair so fine, thin and fragile with this woman adding glue, weight then tearing at it. That lady is about to be bald. TRACTION ALOPECIA here she come.
It's best to let any remover to sit at least 3 to 5 minutes, depending the product quality. It doesn't matter what the product quality is, going in seconds after applying any remover is damaging to the hair strands.
These look much better than those knobbly individual ones. Would love to see someone using their own hairs they’ve gathered at home like I saw in youtube shorts.
Tape in ruined my hair i had so much breakages switched to braidless sewin hair has never been better and since my hair isn't damaged I can use less extensions
There was a lot of hair on those tape ins to be attached to that little piece of hair. I know that’s how it’s done, but this is why it causes baldness.
Being careless with them causes hair loss. Too tight ponytails causes hair loss, or even consistent wearing of ponytails causes breakage. Removing them how this “stylist” is doing, is ripping out this girls hair
Wearing these doesn’t mean you don’t love your natural hair, that’s the reason I use these. Every so often I like to add just a few strips of a dark color and I don’t want to bleach and color my hair. I can have color and that doesn’t mean I don’t love my hair just adding a little extra. I have way more then enough hair to need any added again I just love my hair and do not want to do coloring to it so these allow me to add color but keep my hair nice and healthy
Question: Is the constant use of extensios bad for your scalp and natural hair? It did not appear that much hair was left on the comb, but her natural hair looked thin. Was her hair that thin to begin with?
I have been blessed with hair so thick, that between TPPN and chemo, about half my hair fell out. A lot never grew back. BUT My hair is still thicker than hers with the pieces in. I used to not be able to wear it in a single pony tail, cause it all didn’t fit. I made 3 sections and pinned them together like one ..when I was a teenager.
I was reading comments I don’t think it looks like she was being rough at all. She was being as gentle as she could. She placed her fingers on the hair above the tape to keep it from pulling. And as she combed out the remaining sticky stuff she added more oil then easily combed it out. I think it looked great.
No, immediately no! 😂 Dealing with my own hair is a pain, but the only time I’m adding hair to my own is when I get braids, which just requires a rat tail comb, moisturizer/water, and my two hands to remove.
@@leena5875I have curly hair and I've had tape ins fine. It's not the best option but it can work. Especially if you straighten your hsir or blow dry it
Recently learned a hack , bonfi oil free wig shine legit destroys the tape bond and removes all residue , it costs like 5 bucks for a bottle , I used it to remove the tape ins then I applied it to my hair with a cap and let it sit 20 mins then washed , no breakage at all! And I suffer from breakage. I use this product for shine but I accidentally used too much and I realized it actually removes the bond in seconds!!
Is there a way to test these tape in hair extensions? To see how they effect someone with multiple health conditions and allergies to completely random things? Kinda like the samples at stores or testers
When I had my salon we used bonding glue to install them and then the bond remover to take them out. It is always going to look like there is hair loss from the removal process because of the hair that was naturally falling out of the scalp but remains sandwiched between the hair sections. When you pull the taped sections out you will see the loose scalp hair. The client will probably think that her hair was broken off or pulled out during the removal Process. We would have to explain that this was just the hair that she normally sheds on a daily basis.
