I love the way she speaks. Her accent in this movie was truly beautiful
Honestly💞💞
What’s the name of the accent
@@nouhaylaboujdi3174 it’s the standard accent for actors and actresses in the early 1950’s. It’s a mix of an English and American accent
@@nouhaylaboujdi3174 it's called transatlantic accent.... only the very highly sophisticated and educated people were ever taught and able to speak this way!! Hollywood did this accent to saturate american and british purposely.
@@nouhaylaboujdi3174 Transatlantic accent
wasn't she the most sophisticated and beautiful woman ever on screen ?
noxmystica I agree. Without being vulgar.
Her and Grace Kelly
Oui
@@keelyleilani1326 The Swan
Yes
This is one of several roles that fit her like a glove, impossible to imagine another actress in the part. Almost like it was written for her to. Play
Widowed now and 66. In six months selling my house, putting my stuff in storage and moving to Paris for a year. I know, it's just a movie, but I'm going and what an adventure it will be. Thank you Ms. Audrey for inspiring me those so many years ago.
How beautiful! Good luck and Congratulations on having the courage and opportunity to live your dream! 🇫🇷✨❤️
Hi, Paris is not the same as those years, I live here in France and most people don't want live in Paris, it's quite chaotic. Unless you going to live a in a very good neighborhood like the 16th or 12th, otherwise the other parts are very crowded. Places like the tour Eiffel is always full of people. You need to speak perfect french, as Parisian people may not be so patient.
If you have the money, I would recommend you instead to go the south of France. Nice for instance, people are more used to tourists they speak more languages at restaurants, the sea is really close. Really nice people in the south of France.
How beautiful! I hope you have the time of your life, you’re certainly living my dream 🫶🏻 adventures like this are truly what life is all about. x
when Audrey looked up at 1:53 I got chills. Audrey is so stunning and magical!!
"and i will never never again run away from life"
Yes
She was the treasure of all treasures. Everyone who saw her or worked with her knew that.
If you’d have any difficulty recognizing your daughter, I shall be the most sophisticated woman at the Glen Cove Station. ♡
Witting a letter is like writing a poem,a poem with not only words but a thousands of meanings and phrases. That's why I love about letters.
how to speak like her look like her act like her be her??? she’s one of a kind im so in love with her
got “ la vie en rose” tatted on my arm 😌💕
Have it tattooed on my rib cage!!
Have it tattooed on my heart...
Wow, that was cheesy:))
Today is the anniversary of the release of this film.
Moise Picard can you please tell me the name of this movie? ♥️
Moise Picard 🙌🏻
I have learned how to live
How to be in the world
And of the world
And not just to stand aside and watch
And I will never ever run away again from life.
i have learned how to live, how to be in the world and of the world, and not just to stand aside and watch. and I will never,
never again run away from life
Nice place she is staying in , for a student in Paris , but in the movies , many things are sugar coated.
Inflation was also not as big of a problem, back then, as it's now.
But who am I to even mention it? I was born in '98. How about yourself?
I noticed it too. A nice view of the sacre coeur.
I have learn how to live. How to be in the world and off the world and not just to stand aside and watch and I'll never never again run away from life or from love, either...!!
Audrey has Paris in her soul ❤️
Watching a lot of Audrey Hepburn's movie clips on her birthday. 🎥 Timeless beauty. I'm inlove. ❤️
Beautiful scene
bro... she makes LIRR seem so dreamy
One of my favorite movies
She was so beautiful with even trying!!! 😌✨
Well she had her hair done and makeup on
sacre coeur in the background :)
Admirable!..♥️
I love her, bye
Olerato Maina😂😂😂❤ now knows where Lesego Mathye got LA Vi en Rose
Классный клип👍👍👍
it has aways felt strange to me that she lives in a super pish apartment in paris where things should always be as expensive as new york city and wears super expensive designer clothes.
Yeah, doesn’t really make much sense 😂
Her friend the baron helped her out
I am looking at the world as rose flowe glasses. That's means la vie en rose
I wish I could learn how to live
Gecemidir seni bana düşündüren , yoksa benmiyim seni düşünmek için geceyi bekleyen ?
Thats My Name
She was Nice
sabrina carpenter!?
Her accent is so beautiful but it’s kind of confusing
Probably THE CARRIE BRADSHAW of the moment ❤
Blasphemy
Vraiment dommage que ne lui ait attribuée que des rôdes de nunuches.
And gitans
My goodness: the atmosphere, the black and white, "la vie en rose", Audrey's class and glamour... all of this is simply outstanding and breathless. Several times I've watched this scene and for all of those times I've imagined myself as if I were the one who's writing that letter; I moved from my hometown 3 years ago: I'm from Parma (Italy) and now I live in Lombardy. I've passed good bad and sometimes evil times during this period, nevertheless I'm grateful for all this: since I moved, I've been learning how to live, but must of all how to know myself. Facing the life indeed. It's a long way and I very far away to reach for the finish line. However, the more I go on, the more I'm proud of me for all I'm doing to become a better person.
“Dearest Father,
We shall be graduating next week, and I shall be getting my diploma. I want to thank you now for the two most wonderful years of my life. I shall always love you for sending me here.
It is late at night, and someone across the way is playing "La Vie En Rose”. It is the French way of saying, “I am looking at the world through rose-coloured glasses,” and it says everything I feel. I have learned so many things, Father. Not just how to make vichyssoise or calf’s head with sauce vinaigrette, but a much more important recipe. I have learned how to live… how to be in the world and of the world… and not just to stand aside and watch. And I will never, never again run away from life… or from love, either.
I am taking the plane home on Friday, Father. You needn’t pick me up at the airport. I’ll just take the Long Island Railroad and you can meet me at the train- the 4:15. If you’d have any difficulty recognising your daughter, I shall be the most sophisticated woman at the Glen Cove Station.“
i can't find the one who commented this before, i guess it got deleted :(
"looking at the world through rose-coloured glasses..."
I used this as a tagline for my website! thanks Audrey!
This makes me feel peaceful.
Love her posture..
That makes all the difference)))
simply divine! sophisticated only begins to describe Ms. Hepburn!
who’s here from gabis paris fancy vlog? 🤍
My grandfather was her dressmaker, she truly was a beautiful and poised woman.
Classic acting - gone are the days for movies like this..... and I was born in the 80’s!!!!! You truly do understand the older you get, and as you see the next generations unfold it’s like whatever happened to things like this!!????
I wish I was live in the era she lived in 😭
There era experienced famine global wars and polio lmao it’s beautiful in retrospect
When we watched the first film with Audrey Hepburn, we though to ourselves: Now thath's impeccable. This Earth emanetes Milk and honey.
If you have time to recognize your doughter I will be the must sofisticated woman in the central station
You're not only the most sophisticated woman of the Glencoe station,, but of the world Miss Audrey!!

Isn't she lovely?
A letter from Paris. I will always love you for sending me here.
Best scene ever💕.
Classic
love this movie! thanks a lot for uploading it :)
i love her forever
Trending on tik tok
Is that even a waist?
Katherine Gale i KNOW. i’d be envious but considering the context of her suffering from malnutrition during the war it kinda saddens me she never really recovered, even in adulthood :(
she always had problems with weight. if you see her in breakfast at Tiffany’s she’s super skinny. Here I feel like she’s quite normal tbh
Yeah guess she did not really recovered to her eating problems.
does anyone know what kind of table lamp is that in the scene?
Yes...she was Simply Perfect
Classic actress, never forgotten
one of my favorite scenes of all movies.xx
:)
Δουλεύεις αγάπη μου πως θα αντέξεις μωρό μου ...ξέρω δεν θα ακούς κ θα γκρινιάζω....
