    I am a recent addict to this channel. It's so soothing and comforting, I find myself falling asleep with it on at night. But that's by no means a negative thing, as my crazy brain has trouble slowing down at the end of the day. This channel really helps me unwind.

    I havent been to Aqua City in so many years and somehow suddenly thought of it. This brings back so many memories 🥹🥰 I have always loved Odaiba, especially in the summer.

    love your videos!! im currently teaching myself Japanese and i’m slowly learning vocabulary and sometimes when i watch your videos i pause and try to challenge myself to read signs and stuff. it’s been a really fun way to immerse myself when i’m not studying. your voiceovers are always very calm and relaxing to listen to, thanks for making these videos! :)

      Thank you so much for saying so. I know there are a lot of silent walking videos out there. I just enjoy showing people around and explaining stuff. Lots of information not explained in those other types of videos. Cheers!

    Odaiba is very nice to walk around on a nice day…I tend to just go to the showa themed area though (I think its the mall next door).

    • @CoryMay81
      @CoryMay81  6 місяців тому +1

      Yeah, when the skies are blue with a little bit of clouds, it's so nice. It's also really good during sunset time.
      Oh, are you talking about the Takoyaki Museum place? I'd like to go there in a future mall video. Thanks for watching!

    • @martenlundin
      @martenlundin 6 місяців тому +2

      @@CoryMay81 Yes and the area around it with all them small shops and dagashiya and the retro arcade. Never tried the takoyaki there because I find octopus a bit off-putting but I have been practicing lately and I'll give it a go next time. There are a few of those Showa retro style places I found in Tokyo, all excellent.

      hahaha No worries! Btw, did you visit the Tokyo Ramen Kokugikan Mai food court in Aqua City? It features several famous shops from around Japan all in one food court. I haven't eaten there before but would like to try it some time in the future.

      Thank you! It was nice to see you in the live chat today. Yeah, the mall didn't have an actual video game arcade. Just the crane games. Take care and see ya in the next video!

    Thanks that was a great walk through can you say the opening hours of the shopping malls you go to. I would also be interested in seeing a TGI and a Starbucks menu to see the difference if you can show this

    • @CoryMay81
      @CoryMay81  6 місяців тому +2

      I usually put that info in the description box and link the website for the mall. I don't say it because times can fluctuate or change and I don't want to give out the wrong information, usually.
      As for menu comparisons, I think you can just Google that and see what is currently offered at both TGIFriday's Japan and Starbucks Japan.

    Hey Cory. Are you not close to the earthquakes and tsunami warnings?

    • @CoryMay81
      @CoryMay81  6 місяців тому +4

      I'm not. I live in the Tokyo area. The massive quake was off the coast of Taiwan, wayyyyy southwest of Japan's main islands. The Okinawa island chain (Ryukyu islands) got a tsunami warning. Up here in Tokyo, there was nothing. We're too far away.

    • @CoryMay81
      @CoryMay81  6 місяців тому +2

      There are Disney Stores at Karuizawa and Kisarazu, which are outlet places but I'm not sure if the Disney Store has outlet prices on merch there. Thanks for watching and asking a question!
