Watched your video again and again. There are so many ideas that I may keep making cards forever and still not finish all the ideas you’ve given me. Thank you so much.
Mary, thank you for compiling these videos into one great big set of ideas. Definitely one I saved in my list of videos to watch over and over 💕. Thank you for all you do and making us novice crafters feel we can do it all! One of these days I hope to meet you and thank you in person.
Good heavens girl! You're sooooo creative! I just LOVED EVERYTHING you did here! I feel like even I could make pretty things like this too, but I know already that MY mind's eye and the end results are going to, in NO way, compare! Lol Regardless, I'm off to my desk to try! Lol Looking forward to the background class! See yah there! ❤😊🎉
Amazing compilation of techniques. This will stay on my desktop FOREVER as a reference of ideas. Thank you for all the work of putting this together! I’m so appreciative! 🌷
Fabulous video! It was fun seeing a sampling of so many great ideas for backgrounds. I’m such a pattern paper person, I rarely venture to try new things. Now I want to do some ink smooshing! Thank you for all the inspiration! 💖
Mary, That was an awesome video!!! I forget some of the ways to use different products!! I will keep this one close by!!! Hope you and family are well!! Hugs!!!
Love this video! You're videos have encouraged me to do galaxy backgrounds. I just made the cutest card for my grandson using the galaxy background. ❤️
Love this video Mary! I took a class on Brushos last year and you hit the nail on the head.... They are FUN! I am finally running out of the color wash pages I made for the class. You can use cover dies on a page you might not be too thrilled about and it looks terrific! Love, love, love brushos! I didn't know CP had color bursts too!
cool stuff as always Mary, I wanted to tell you two things 1, I was told by a shop owner that Darice was closing down, so you may want to stock up on your beloved glitter paper while you can and 2. I found Neenah110 in the 260 packs for 9,98 today, so you may want some of that as well, luv you!hope you and yours are safe and healthy!
Thank you for a very informative video. Fairly new at card making and so busy making cards, organizing my space, etc have been itching to try background techniques. With this video that itch is finally going to be scratched!
Thank you for sharing this informative video. I'm trying to step outside of my comfort zone and try new techniques (and I too own all of the oxide inks - they're wonderful!).
I would spend all my crafty time making backgrounds! I am still looking for a cardmaker who prefers finishing cards to collaborate with! I made it all the way through without getting triggered, but now I feel a strong urge to get my Twinkling H2O’s out and give them some love. Now that I think about it, I am not sure I have ever done a background with them! Hmmmmmm. Thank you.

Hi Tracy, color bursts are so so fun. I would say any collection that includes the pirmary colors becuase with those you can make any color. So red, blue and yellow are a must. I hope that helps!
Loved watching this video! Thanks. By the way, I have almost all of the Oxide inks. I am just missing about 3 or 4. I am running out of room in my ink racks! 🙁
Great video, Mary! Tfs. Do yo remember making a video, moths ago, maybe a year? Where your husband bought foam tape, on a roll and you told him to take his cape off? Where did that marvelous man get that foam tape, please?
Hahah, yes he picked that up from the Dollar Tree for me. The backing is not that easy to get off but it's SUPER sticky and I like that it's in little rectangles.
Love the silicone mat you have for the alcohol inks use... can you tell me where I can find that? I have the WF one, but that is white, I would love to have a black one for Alcohol ink blending.
This is the one I have but it's much more expensive now. amzn.to/34EU6NQ I would recommend checking a dollar store to get any silicone mat to get messy on.
Mary, this video is FANTASTIC. My mind is exploding with ideas now, but it’s 1:30 a.m., so hopefully I’ll be able to go to sleep. Please take care and stay safe. ~Barbara
