I remeber playing Dark Stones 2 back in the day, great times. One of the best games of its generation, Chad will be missed.

I love this game so much, it’s absolutely one of my favourite casual/indie games to sit down and play when I don’t want to focus too hard on the game
one of the classics... the developer really did a good job with this timeless game. i hope it would be updated to the modern times as i still have and want to play this game.
They have updated it, they have the latest consoles and new ui in the game. The biggest feature is the extra mod support. They made everything so much easier to mod and currently tons of new mods are coming out, fun to play.
@@wasdoxxedbyivy really? i havent really seen them update this game in like 3 or 4 years as far as im concerned, not to mention because of the last update most of the mods aren't even working anymore, if only mod support kept being updated, but people barely release any new mods that work and dont crash/break the game.

@@AC-ik2qq there is a multiplayer mod, there is newer consoles / updated consoles. New topics and genres, new designs and characters etc. More come out quite often but multiplayer is the only mod ive used.

Chad started as a game developer making games on the G64 as football games, growing a small audience and making classics. His 1st hit being Dark stones which flew off the shelves and started his career. He then started making other games, making his own game engine, but they were failing pretty fast, out of ideas, he made Dark stones 2, a giant hit ranking #2 worldwide, and gathering 2M+ in the box office, Chad then knew he had to buy an office and blow his money on employees, with his new releases like Blood bored, doing very well, and REDBED ERECTION, not doing the best. At this point, Chad had lost ideas, and its clear he fell off from, his fame since dark stones. Expecting to go bankrupt, and mistreating his employees, he released GRAND LARCENY (XIIV) whilst the money walls were crushing him and his game choices. If this game failed, this could be the end of his game journey, as this project took over 500k to make. In the end the game got 5s,6,s, and 7s, making only 200k in sales. Chad had lost a million dollars at this point, thinking of giving up, and selling out. Out of nowhere, he got the confidence to make more games, firing a bad employee, and even though his employees rioted and bought things, he kept on pursuit to make a good game. He redid his engine, and was prepared, and released Dark Stone III. This is either a hit, or a giant miss. Going from 2M to bankrupt in a short amount of time. Yet not the best, it gained thousands and put Chad back to pace! Yet he still fired all his employees. And invested in 3d graphics, yet not using them in his new game; LA S.M.O.G. It would be hard for this game to compete with the 3d games, would it be a REDBED, or a Darkstones 2? Doing horrible... Even I quit playing Chad's games around this time, even though it had a good plot, the graphics looked like it was out of the G64. And Chad had a disease, fatal, with his last clicking, chad made DARK STONE ETERNAL. At this point it didn't matter if it failed or not. With giant hype, his last game, did great, getting 8s and 9s. The fun ended here though, after the release of his last game, chad died from a fatal disease. Chad made the best game of all time, and even though the last darkstones sucked, eternal made up for it. RIP Chad, you made my childhood with Darkstones.

does X not know that like 70% of immersion comes from sound and the atmosphere ? sound design gets slept on a lot generally but it makes a game what it is, play any game without sound and then put the sound on and you will see what I mean

This guy didn't even lower the story slider in a football game.
He increased the dialogue? and level design? but not the AI in a football game.
The graphics of football games all look the same, and he turned that slider up instead of the sound, which would give the illusion.
