Wow, this song proves where there are a lot of logical and beneficial to hate certain things, especially stuff that usually some folks in my demographic hate, like High School Musical, Hannah Montana, the Jonas Brothers, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Reality TV, modern-day cartoons, CGI...there are way too many to list!
I'm sure at the time they did this they had enough money to make this look a little more professional but I love how they chose to do this in an amaturish style. It's like they were bored one day and decided to make this on the fly. And it works so fucking perfectly which is why this remains to be my all time favorite Offspring music vid.
I was in that video. It was made about eight or nine years ago when I was in H.S. The School is Huntington Beach High, and I'm not sure how official it is,but I know they did give us a whole bunch of free Offspring stuff, including "It's Cool to Hate" buttons and Ixnay on the Hombre LP's.
haha i love how bad the acting is in this (ex 1:30). it makes it funnier and more modest. i love their sarcasm too, moreso in the song. the video's just plain funny. and look at the offspring. trashing the emo stereotype before it ever had a name. one of the few true punk rock bands still around. kudos :]
