Ange is a winner. We definitely need to back him. We won’t ever be in the same situation as yesterday again.
But it happened before...
He’s been a winner in Mickey Mouse leagues.
@@robbpatterson6796No it hasn’t. When ?
Ange has NOT been a winner lately has he ?, that is NOT the fans fault, he will be a winner when he wins in THIS league in my book. I respect results that is the measure for Ange, not bum licking fan boys telling me he is the messiah ! His CV is 3rd rate to us realists, but let's give him a chance, he gets a 2/10 for his ill considered comments in press conferences that's for sure !!
แฟนบอลทีมนี้ ไร้ศักดิ์ศรี
ถึงว่าทำไมไม่ แชมป์อะไรเลย
แล้วยังเรียกตัวเองว่าทีมใหญ่
A shameful day at the club … “sack em all over the summer and send them up the Archway “
I love and stand by Ange ❤️🙌
It seems to me that 50% of the fanbase probably would like to keep them “must lose to City” staff and even promote them. I found that the most toxic and vocal fans that’s been calling our entire club pathetic losers for years were the ones most keen on losing the last game.
The same ones who will be up in arms when we sign average players this summer because the top ones won't want to come to a club whose fans demanded their players and manager chuck the last chance of CL football in the bin to satisfy some petty inferiority based obsession with rivals.
“You’re obviously not from North London” is the phrase they like to use. No, and neither are ArseAnal so what’s the problem ? 🤔
Yh I think they should leave only us the paying tribal fans should want city to beat us that game but no one that’s directly in the club
exactly ... seems they are only happy when we lose ... so they then have something to complain about
Absolutely what i said as soon as it happened @@roboi2241
Those staff and the fans hoping for a loss are an embarrassment to the team!! I can understand why Ange would be pissed. I could never hope for my team to lose!!
of everything that has happened this season this is the first time I am embarrassed to be a spurs fan
@@cxv6367 really? Turn it in you drama queen. So you are not more embarrassed losing 5-2 arsenal or being 3 nil up at half time and still losing. Alan Sugar washing his car with Klinsmanns shirt. Daniel Levy asking the government for furlough? Nope fans not wanting arsenal to win the league is embarrassing. In my opinion it's people like you that are killing football. It's all a bit too nice. I saw numerous people wish arsenal best of luck before the game. Now that is embarrassing.
Incredible that staff would behave this way, they all need to be gone. Glad we have Ange, and glad he's not going to settle for the usual bullshit from the staff and any players who think that way. Also the display of the fans in that game Tuesday was absolutely disgraceful; imagine cheering as your team is losing because you've denied something to a rival. This is not what winning organizations do. Time for some big changes.
WTF this is becoming an ANGE cult 😆
There are always going to be people blindly following a particular boss. The last five years proved changing the boss does on work unless you also change the players. Also Arsenal are not simply a rival but the hated enemy. Any true Spurs fan believes that. Remember that Ange is an employee not a fan.
Who’s your team?
We need to be more focused on us than on what others are doing...overall we finished 8th with 60 points last year. We will improve on that this year and set the target to do better every year here on. Good players brought in, some further culling and roster improvements required. Up the Lillywhites!
love it. i find it shocking how some fans actually celebrated the loss yesterday. don't get me wrong, i don't want arsenal winning the league but when it actually comes down to it, i find it very hard to even celebrate city scoring. hope we never find ourselves in the same position again
Same here. Whenever one of them says “You’re obviously not from North London”, the answer is simple -
‘No, and neither are Arsenal’.
@@richierichie1332 It was shocking, disgraceful, and unacceptable. Absolute embarrassing juvenile behavior.
Actually, if Spurs could simply improve their performances against three sides (Chelsea, Wolves and West Ham) which finished 12th-14th in 2022/3, the final points tally would be near to 80pts. In 2023/24, 1pt out of 18 was accrued. Raise that to 14 and you get 79 pts (if a victory is achieved on Sunday). If you increase points at home vs City, Arsenal and Villa to 5 from 0, you reach 84pts. Then you are in shouting distance of achievement.
@rhysjaggar4677 It's easy to analyse where we went wrong, but the team must be far more consistent in their performance over the 38 games. You can't have spells losing 4 on the spin. We also need to be unbeatable at home. COYS
Clearly the game that matter most was Sheffield Utd and not Man City. The chance of the Champs League went many weeks ago in truth. We must replace Kane in order to move forwards as a club. We create chances but cant take them when it matters most.
once the staff is let go, we'll be able to figure out who they were that wanted our club to roll over. Finally great to see a manager who really wants to change the club. I hope we back him
I'd make them club president.
So Newcastle not winning last night means there will be European football next season. But it could still be Europa Conference League if Spurs manage to lose to Sheff Utd, Chelsea win on Sunday and Man Utd win the FA Cup final. So good incentive for the side to play as well at Bramall Lane as they did on Tuesday night, hopefully just making the finishing more clinical.
He needs to change the fan mentality too. The fans that wanted us to lose are a joke
You’re obviously not from North London .
@@vandammejamNo, and neither are ArseAnal. 🤷♂️
@@davidbeeson9408 😂😂 good one
Mate, Arsenal already lost their title chances after being defeated by Villa. So don’t throw the majority of the fan base under the bus, bcuz this rarely happens
Stand up if you hate Woolwich
well lets see how motivated and committed these players are v Sheff united !!
Hopefully Ange will get rid of the staff and players he no longer trusts or wants.
The fans will never change though which is a concern but it is what it is.
Lets hope the team win on Sunday because if Chelsea get 5th that would be the icing on the cake for a disaster finish to the season.
Finishing under Chelsea would be far worse than Arsenal winning the league ... and on top of that it would be all our own doing
@@cxv6367toxic fan
@@cxv6367 no it wouldn't you doughnut.
Ange now needs to bring in the staff he wants and the board needs to back him. Cheers Chris. COYS
Great news that Ange and the players are still united and the club will back him!
You keep believing that, damage has been done, forever.
Remember Arteta's 19/20 and 20/21 seasons? Now compare that to Ange's this first season.
At least his club's supporters and staff weren't hoping they would lose so a direct rival will be denied a title. Small club mentality
@@SPQRafc Were they put in that position though? Maybe go back and look at their fan channels. I think youll find every club with a nearby rival would have an element of fans that are more into the rivalry than the rest of the fanbase. And they would do exactly as those fans did the other night. Not justifying it.
Didn't arteta win FA cup? We barely made it past 3rd Rd.
It's all about them trophies though. Mate.
Chris is the only content creator I know who did not want us to lose the city game, the rest of the popular fan channels, I have now unsubscribed to them. Please continue to represent us Spurs fan with sprit, sophistication and sportsmanship, you might be our only hope.
I agree can not believe other pod casts done this .
Agree. I unsubscribed from tottenhamtv and Barnaby Slater yesterday.
Totally with you brother only interested in listen to Chris now
We all need to calm down. The media threw petrol on this situation which rarely happens. If the shoe was on the other foot I guarantee Arsenal fans would behave exactly the same way and be split on this not wanting us to win the league. Cheering for City took it way too far though. If City end up winning it by 2 points, we could say we stopped Arsenal by getting a draw at their place earlier in the season. But if we’d played like we did on Tues vs Arsenal at home, we would have got a draw at least and wouldn’t have been in the position we found ourselves in this week. You can look at the same situation in so many ways. We need to all move on, get behind Ange and our team 100% and win on Sunday, stop all the moaning and look at the positives of this season, build from there.
Very true. Cant remember anything like this for Everton/Liverpool, brumie or Manchester clubs.
If Ange leaves we're finished. Get the staff that wanted to lose to City out. This is why we're trophyless for so long.
Doesn't Ang realise that Celtic fans would probably have joked the same thing to wind up Rangers fans
The problem seems to be the fans at the stadium chanting/cheering city. Though its difficult to know if most of them were Spurs fans or not. I read an article before the game that some ticket holders were not taking up their allocation. So maybe some City fans got into the home end.
I wish I could tell ange that not all fans are like those who dont fully support their team,
I want my team to run to win every ball I just wish my team felt the way he does about somewhere hes been for 1 season I love my team it's kinda all I have to look forward too and I want us to be great
Exactly so. In the same breath, were those same fans not supporting the club for the other 36 games and the seasons previous before this latest batch of players and manager came in. Maybe some of the fans if not more, werent Spurs fans!?
Has everyone forgotten about the yeas of St Totteringham's Day taunts that Spurs fans had to put up with from Arsenal fans especially before Poch came and improved our league positions. The rivalry with the Gooners is long standing and if Spurs fans can get some comfort out of a defeat that hurts their rivals, what's the problem. Spurs are not in the CL because they lost 12 games this season including 4 of the previous 5 games before the Man City defeat. I have been a Spurs fan for 60 years and have suffered enough hurt to not let a slim defeat by the best team in the league to cause me any soul searching.
Remember it? ... They did it 2 weeks ago. Then wanted us to beat City😮
Older fans dont. It seems that this sort of rivalry doesnt affect a worldwide fanbase. As they dont get to experience all the crap that comes with it, like more localised fans do. Should never have been in this situation.
Maybe if the players tried harder in some matches we would not have been in this situation. The fans pay hard earned money to watch games and expect players to put in 100% every game.
yes they fan do ... but the players also don't expect their fans to want them to lose a game
They try hard, just a working progress
That was really annoying in all honesty, I wanted us to beat city even though we let arsenal win the league 😢
Most fans did as well. We also still hope that in the last game of the season sees anyone by our local rivals win the PL. On the flip-side we had fans of our biggest rivals want us to win. Does that make them any less fans?
Sours played excellent compaired to recent matches , unlucky , but the 10% chance of getting to CL has now gone , so losing im happy that city hopefully will win leauge ,
If thats a losing mentality coming from people not wanting city to win title ..... Bollocks to them 😂
wanting your team to lose ... is def a losing mentality
I hope Arsenal win it still. They deserve it unlike us.
@@cxv6367 lose a very small battle in the long run. Not even a battle. A skirmish. I'll take that. We can go back to winning now.
If these changes to the club cost a lot of money,it not happening
Get the best defensive coach in the world we have the money.
All Ange is doing is lowering his profile; this will get him sacked. He needs to pull his head in and focus.
HE doesn’t care. He just wants to win.
Even if God himself went to manage spurs absolutely nothing would change! They will always be the gift that keeps on giving!
Will he get the money ? I doubt it
I have been crying for weeks, Saturday past I could not get myself to watch the Man City game, Spurs please beat Sheffield, I need to smile again, it’s been nerve wracking- from Cape Town ZA
Get the impression that Ange hasn't been happy with some of his assistants all season. Some not totally on board with what he was trying to implement. This is one area he has been a bit naive. Ange was willing to work with the people already there which he has done at all other clubs. He needs to bring in his own people.
thats how he operates, he gives them a chance ... if they fail him they are out the door
Yep. Its been obvious for a while. The who 1st team setup isnt insync or we would not have been trounched in so many games. Sure I accept we can lose games but a lot of them weve had no fight.
I have been a Spurs fan for over 60 years, and never have I wanted Spurs to lose a game. So what if Arsenal win this year.. Spurs will win next season. Back the manager ... any so called Spurs fan that feels it is better to lose against Man City than to see Arsenal win the league is NO Spurs fan. ...
Do we get any advantage in the Europa League from finishing 5th instead of 4th? Fewer matches to play for instance?
2 less games maybe. So maybe a qualifying round less. I cant remember off the top of my head. Or maybe 4 games and 2 rnds.
Ange might guarantee us less games anyway, going by his euro record with Celtic. Let’s not forget he masterminded Celtic getting dismantled twice in the space of a week by the artic circles finest - Bodo Glimpt. He couldn’t program his multi-million pound robots to steam roller a club whose entire squad wouldn’t cover the cost of one Celtic player. Usual alibi’s after - didn’t hit our normal levels, blah, blah, blah.
@@nosherz Yep his record is bad. Hasnt had much of a record in the domestic cups either Im afraid.
He wants to win every game, mate.
We had Fulham in the Carabao cup. And played the reserves. And lost.
We lost FA cup straight off to City.
And we had the worst run in, in the league, bar Sheff Utd.
Was he resting players in the Carabao cup game? What for? No European football and he slithers out of that competition. Sorry mate, YOU lost us 4th place in the last 6 games. Not the fans.
Yep. Seems to be forgotten with all the virtual signalling going on.
Back him. Chris Cowlin has a winner mentality. We are tottenham tv on the other hand …
So happy all this things are happening to ange,so he learns it's the prem here no time for jokes
A joke really. No fans would want his club to lose. You are putting another club as more important than your own moreover, there was a slim chance yet to play for something. Imagine trying your best for your club yet being ridiculed for that. Some of the players played day in day out trying to win, yet some fans are blasting them and questioning their integrity. What a joke and sorry excuse as fans.
In my humble opinion, all this Ange grumbles is a storm in a tea cup, if Ange hadn't lost 4 in a row with lack of tactical planning instead of playing kamakazi football then we wouldn't be in this mess, and sorry, no spurs fan wants to se Arsenal win anything. So Ange, build a winning mentality and win and we we all back mate !!
We will show arsenal how to win the league next season...
COYS
Damn right!! That’s the same thing I was thinking, COYS MATE
No we won't. 😂 A trophy would be nice though...

Unfortunately Arsenal are at another level there is no easy fix and whether Postocoglou is the man to take us to the next level remains to be seen. He's talking about getting rid of loyal staff members who might have been there for years. Yet if he gets a better offer he will be off like the wind
@@jeffuk3940 loyalty counts for nothing if you dont do you job properly
He’s made a mountain out of a mole hill.
Lets face it, spurs fans deserves a looser as a manager, not someone like Ange. To not be up for it when there was a champions spot on the line is a discrace.
Fine.but what about the last matches away from home newcastle.arsenal.liverpool fulham terrible performances and no plan B ..got points there we would have been in c.league who's that on...i hope Ange succeeds he needs a hugh budget in summer and top qualty players and also for levy to change the wage structure but we know he wont because the msn has no ambtion to win on the pitch just uses the club as a cash cow filling his pockets.
Have seen this response from spurs fans across social media- it does'nt make sense. Its a false equivalence. This situation has NOTHING to do with the past four games. He is talking about Spurs fans focused more on what another club is doing than their own. He's talking about Spurs fans willing their team to lose to spite another club. Its a cultural thing- a systemic losers mentality from fans to support staff has got to change. I would bet on Big Ange to have a fair crack at it.
@@JMD166 exactly ... weak excuses
@@JMD166 its not as simple as that the fans have every right not want to see Arsenal win another trophy another title while we sit back and challenge for 4th..I get Ange's point 100% we won we could get 4th .great but the fans are sick of been in finals and losing for years while there rivals in top 6 keep winning tropies. If we were in that position i bet Arsrnsl fans would do the same..
@@cxv6367 weak excuses bullshit fans are sick of been let down by the owners and seeing your top 6 rivals winning trophies 4th is great brillant (bullshit)Ange i get 100%..
I thought Ange used the behaviour of a tiny proportion of fans as a smokescreen for his own failures. We’ve been on an abysmal run of form & he knew well, there was every chance City were going to compound that. Let’s be real - if we were to make heavy weather of it against Sheffield united, there’s every chance his position could be in question.
What failures… finishing 5th and looking up to see only 4 managers with a better record than him this season?
@@SydneyMoo We we’re in the driving seat for that last champions league spot & blew it. Emery at Villa was able to get a tune from an arguably much weaker squad than ours, that’s unforgivable.
@@nosherz that a very narrow aperture… seeing things in isolation, exceptions to the rule, you really can fulfil a dream to be a glass half empty!
Ange has had a superb first season in the Prem and Spurs have advanced their cause despite losing one of the best strikers of modern times.
Keep your chin up.. remain positive.. widen the aperture…
COYS!!
@@SydneyMoo I am trying to be positive 😊. I just don’t see how (for arguments sake), another 6 or 7 top signings would somehow magically turn Ange into some world class motivator/tactician, when he’s never done anything at this level before. Emery’s was able to get more from less resources, despite playing more games over the season, with Villa playing in Europe. The difference between Emery and Ange, is Emery had already achieved plenty at a high level prior to joining Villa. With Ange we’re totally reliant on blind faith that he’ll somehow break the cycle of failed enic managers and be lucky number 14 or 15 (I’ve lost count) to bring us success.
@nosherz it's his first season at this level and done pretty well.
First one here
Ange is all over the place here, It was ANGE that told us he was not that bothered about top 4 or champions league football, It was Ange that told us he was not that bothered about set pieces, It was Ange that told us he was not convinced all the players and some staff were onboard regarding his system. Most of the singing in the stadium was mostly tongue in cheek, football loves gallows humour and that will never change ! - lighten up Ange ! We do not want a woke manager that cannot take a joke !!
Ange said his ambition wasn't "limited" to getting champions league.... that's not the same as not being bothered! Any truly competetive(winning) mindset wants to win EVERY match.
Losing deliberately, or rejoicing a loss to deny a rival is a losers mentality imo
When did Ange say not to bother about winning ?
It amazes me that so many people conflate the attitude of Spurs fans with the ambition of the club.
We knew on Tuesday that our chances of CL were slim. We know Gooners can’t help themselves from gloating. No one cheered City. They cheered the result, Arsenal’s comeuppance.
On the night we played well. And have lost five out of the last six, as many as the goons have lost all season. Are the defeats due to the supporters attitude or Ange’s refusal to adapt the way we play?

which players were joking about the game ?
Seems like half the spurs online fan base have no idea about the hate between assnal and us , and if the roles were reversed they’d be behaving in exactly the same way. I’m not condoning it , but it is the truth .
No, they wouldn't. That's not how winning organizations behave. Do you know why? Because they are too busy winning things to worry about something so trivial as how good or bad a rival is doing. The only time we would care about them is when we play them.
I'm very happy that Arsenal have (probably) been denied a League win but cheering City in front of our players is embarrassing and disrespectful tour players who like all professionals, want to win!

As for fragile foundations at the club - ange ( i dont care ) needs to realise that our cup finals are v arsenal away and v arsenal at home - these are games you impress upon the players that the fans expect a huge shift put in ! So the team feel flat after not being supported yesterday, lose Sunday, Chelsea win and get 5th, a tense nervous city draw with West Ham or Kudus, Paqueta and Bowen turn them into prime Barca for a day as Moyes takes the handbrakes off and they win, Arsenal win the league and our grinning 'blue moon' poznan fans are a laughing stock. United beat City in the cup and take our europa league spot as we fall into the conference league. Red hot Palace batter Villa. So those Spurs, sorry 'City' fans yesterday think it was worth not supporting the team and turning the stadium into a cauldron to protect our proud home record against a City team full of tension and still intimidated by our stadium?
Fans happy to stifle Ange's progress with CL football a distinct possibility to satisfy some overblown obsession with the neighbors that was once called rivalry but with this generation seems to be a kind of pathology led by loudmouthed vindictive malcontents. Some of these jokers even took exception to Ange calling them out claiming he doesn't understand the culture. He does, more than that lot ever will because he's seeing it firsthand in all its' idiocy without the blinkers that those idiots use to justify their stupidity that invests more emotion in another team than the progress of their own. Ange wouldn't worry about Arsenal winning the league because given the right backing he would aim to knock them off the perch asap not dwell on the thought of them having bragging rights for 10 years. Unlike our fans who subconsciously expect us to remain in their shadow because underneath all the superficial bravado and bs they do have a loser culture.
Well put. That would be the perfect karma to be honest.
Yes, all of that is surely gonna happen,.... in someone's wet dream
