Thank you Devin mate, Just subbed & Like #46. I have a GH5 and in learning mode - so all the help I can get is awesome and your video is AWESOME. Cheers from #iSpike The King Of Live Streaming (Western Australia)
You should try some astrophotography with the gopro 9, it actually works surprisingly well. Just make sure that you are in raw, the shutter is at 30, and you are well away from light pollution.
That was great thanks, you've a load of dead pixels by the way! Though you probably already know. Quick questions, is there a mathematical way to work out the interval? It's probably to do with distance to subject (stars) and its speed across the frame!...I'm not working that out in a hurry! I've been trying this with motorway shots and trailing headlights. How did you find the noise lvls at 1600 iso? also why is your timeline 24fps?
@@devinjtatro thanks for your fast reply. 😊 Yes I think the same. So if I want to go below iso 400 I have to change to another profile than v-log for pictures. This just confused me a bit. Great video BTW, keep doing such nice content. :-) 👍
hi, i can't figure out how to count i have gh5 speedbooster 0.71 and sigma 18-35 I take a photo at 18 mm - that's 36mm x 0.71 - and that's about 25mm how much should I set the shutter speed? Thank you for your attention
Hello Devin. I like your timelapse !! Im trying to do night lapses from a while with my gh5 (and a laowa 7,5mm) but what I get is far from what you're showing... :-(. I use a 7,5mm for 30sec at f2, iso1600 and I have a lot of green tint that shows up in the sky when editing. Maybe im doing something wrong in postprod (but I stay light on my tweaking) because the video created by the camera don't seem to have this issue. Im going crazy and don't know what im doing wrong... Maybe you have posted a video about editing those night lapses in postprod ??
@@muse4665 I know that but it doesn't fix the problem. Too light and it doesn't remove the green tint, a little stronger and everything shifts magenta...
Some of the best shots are captured when no one else is willing to get out there and shoot! Get out and have fun with it!
This is really cool, humble lesson. Thank you 🙏🏽
Thanks! 👍 I’m glad you liked it
Snap man. I've got the GH5 and only use for videos. I never knew it could take stare timelapses. Totally gonna try this. Tnx man!!
Glad to hear it!
Cool video mate, thanks!

That’s awesome thank you! I hope you find my videos helpful ✌️
Excellent thank you
Glad you found it helpful!
Your channel is very underrated. Keep up the good work!
Thank you! I really appreciate it 👍

I plan on doing that soon! Thanks 👍
Good stuff brother!
how do you ged rid of the noise? i do even get noise with iso 100 and have also the gh5 and i'm using f2.8 lense
How come you didn't use Focus Stack?
Nice work ! What font are you using ?
Hey bro. Awesome video here. I tried the exact settings you shared and have blown out pictures. Any idea what I might did wrong?

Is there a difference in raw photos changing the color profile? Just wondering because I can not set iso below 400 for pictures when I use v-log.
I could be mistaken but v-log shouldn’t effect photo modes. I hope this helps

I assume you turn OFF long exposure noise reduction since you are shooting every 30 secs with 25 sec exposure, correct? Thx.
Yes, u can always do NR later in post.
How do I make my gh5 get to 25 seconds?
Which lens did you use?
Rokinon 10mm 2.8

500 / Focal Length (35mm)= Ideal Shutter Speed
500 / 25 = 20 seconds in your case
My shutter speed is greyout and set to auto
Same, did you ever find a way to fix it?

You can change the tint in lightroom.
@@muse4665 I know that but it doesn't fix the problem. Too light and it doesn't remove the green tint, a little stronger and everything shifts magenta...
@@pedroetsesvideos4740 Wrong lihtbalance? there is a tint window or whatever you call it. It gives the whitebalance a ttint.
@@muse4665 I'm not sure of understanding what you meant. But as I shoot in RAW, white balance shouldn't be an issue.
@@pedroetsesvideos4740 You can change the tone of White-balance. Thats what i meant. Otherwise I'd say faulty sensor?
