You could pass Bill on the street and NEVER know how much he has influenced the industry...or just how filthy rich he is. lol Great vid. I use Wilson parts and mags as a rule. MAYBE I'll pull the trigger on a Wilson 1911 one day.
Have a 1911 A1 and Bills book. The Combat .45 Automatic. What a great combination to learn from. The Combat Magazines made my Milspec run 100%. Thank you Bill.
Great interview!!! I've also custom upgraded my 1911. I had a Springfield GI model which I've done a lot of work to. All wilson combat parts that I've been hand fitting myself. I will only buy Wilson Combat for any 1911 related parts. One of my favorite companies, hands down.
Started shooting USPSA with a 1911 over twenty years ago. Wilson Combat was the gold standard when I started and Wilson Combat still is. Of course, now everybody knows it. Great Beretta's, AR's, Sigs . . .
I actually have three Wilson Combat CQB's in Government Model. I have two in .45 auto and one in 9mm. These pistols are top of the line and I've never had one problem with them. Since getting them I have all of them fully engraved by a master engraver and custom grips. There's no better hand guns.
Can only pray A He never sells out . And always remember we're he came from .... This is why you save and spend the money to buy a Wilson Combat....... Thank you
Have a colt series 70 with your trigger and other accessories and that bad boy is smooth as glass. Can get solid 3" groups out to 35-50 yrds. Great story and much success! Back when America was great.
W.C has built such an incredible reputation. Imagine the lucky customers who bought the early pistols he made in the beginning. They got to be worth a few extra thousand?
@ 3:35 are a few greats of the era: From right to left I recognize Bill Wilson of course, Rob Latham, and Brian Enos if memory serves...the 4th fella I think is Voigt?
I hope he starts making more double stack 9mm 1911's. I'm sure this man knows that Mr. Browning originally designed the 1911 to be a 9mm. STI is killing the market with just that.
This guy was in the watch making business and dealing with jewelry; no wonder he make a top quality pistol with good fit/function and finish. He makes 1911s on steroids....the price he's demanding makes sense now...its the Ferrari of guns
Larry is so humble he’s the type of individual that takes every moment in his life as a learning opportunity what a great listener
Two of the most respected guys in the business right there!

My Wilson Combat CQB has been deathly reliable and has never failed me.

Awesome interview!! Love father son stories! Bill is a very smart man, quality product and customer service wins out every time.
This video was cooler than all the other recent "behind the scenes" videos combined.
All owners of a company should be like Bill Wilson. Take care of your customers.
what a fantastic interview. WC is the best of the best worth every cent. love mine
Very cool. I’m a fan of the Vickers/Wilson Combat Battlesights for Glock.
Awesome!!!!
Best magazines out there no doubt. And the pistol itself is awesome. It feels like they make them for them to own.
Great story. Thanks for sharing.
cool interview

1911 BLA BLA BLA 1911 MARSIA MARSIA MARSIA......WHAT ABOUT THE REAL GUNS THE AR'S?
I'm confused, you're comparing pistols to rifles? Apples to oranges? Grow up!
