War has a devastating effect on children

Since the beginning of the year, compared to 2023, we have witnessed a tragic increase of 40 per cent of children’s deaths in attacks.
Regina De Dominicis, UNICEF Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia, visited Ukraine and saw the devastating effect of the war on children.
