Many thanks indeed teacher. I've learned a lot from your videos. Too bad, there was no social media way back 70's and 80's when I started learning my English. When I was promoted project manager on the 90's, English troubled me a lot dealing with different nationalities.👍😊✌️
I never thought there was a difference between those two statements in terms of using them. But it's good to know now how to use them appropriately. I appreciate you for it.

Teacher, can you please do a video on this topic- Using the phrase “ until now”? It is so misused by Filipinos. Generally it is misinterpreted by so many as literally “ hanggang ngayon”. However , hindi yun ang tamang gamit dahil hindi yun ang meaning niya. I’ll give you so e examples how native English speakers would use it in a conversation (or you can look up online for more examples) 1. I've always been perfectly healthy until now. This sentence means may illness na yung speaker at the present time. 2 Until now, the government has only enforced the ban with regard to American ships. This sentence informs us that hindi lang ban yung na-enforced sa kasalukuyan, nadagdagan pa. 3. Until now I have always lived alone. Ang ibig sabihin ng speaker ng sentence na ito ay may companion na sya sa kasalukuyan. 4. He has always been an academic achiever until this pandemic erupted. Simula ng pandemic, hindi na naging achiever sa academic yung “he” na subject. 5. Until now, the secret ingredient has been kept for years. Meaning, na-reveal na yung secret ingredient ngayon. “Until now” phrase takes on a very different meaning when a native English speaker uses it. Meanwhile when Filipinos use it, they literally mean “hanggang ngayon” which is grammatically incorrect. For example they would say: 1. I’m sick until now. (Wrong) 2. Question: How long have you been using this phone? answer: Until now. (Yun ang isasagot nila when they would mean hanggang ngayon.) 3. Until now meron paring maraming Covid patients. ( again incorrect phrase usage) Teacher, please make a video on this phrase. I’ve never seen a video or read any article on this particular phrase that has been unknowingly misused for so long by many Filipinos. Here in the US, when they mean “ hanggang ngayon”, they say “up to this date, up to now, currently, presently, still up to this day, or they would use a “present progressive verb tense” to indicate “hanggang ngayon”, or even -ly adverbs and a few other phrases but not and never “ until now”. Hope this makes sense to you. Thank you for reading this. You’re doing an excellent job. Thank you for sharing your helpful videos.
Hello po. Can you make another video regarding the difference of that concept to the concept of infinitives? Kasi dba po considered as noun din po ung "to create, to establish,..."

Hi Myra, Can you elaborate more when ending an email between “ Sincerely your’s” and “kind regards?” Which one to choose between formal letter and informal short messages via email to a colleague in office? Are there more useful words besides “kind regards” to use? Thank you my teacher. 🌹 - Henry
Do people still say, "How do you do? or How are you?" Could you also explain the use of the word, "anyways." My brother started living in the US after high school, and he uses this all the yime, as do most of his friends. Is it slang or grammatically valid? Thank you for your videos. You make situations so clear.
Maam , paano po kung sa online mo lang nakilala ? Halimbawa po, pano ko sasabihin sa classmates ko na nagagalak akong nakilala sila kasi hindi pa kami nagkikita eh. Pwede ba sabihin ang " It's nice to know you virtually ? 😅 " Or baka naman pwede po " Glad to know you " nalang ?
