Actually, the Gold wasn't as amazing as this! Not even Close in My opinion. The Gold was more like a stripper while this is more acrobat like and not so sexual
@@tashas5074 are you sure you were watching the right division and level? Samantha Star won the Atlantic Artistic Pole Level 5 competition with an incredibly powerful performance with a "cavewoman" theme. Nothing stripper like about it. :) Maybe you watched an exotic catagory winner?
I've watched the performances of all medalists and I find this one by far the best. I can't judge their techniques because I don't workout at all so I can only imagine how difficult it might be :D, though I understand that all of them worked hard and they are very talented. However, Hanna's perfomance left me speechless, I was really amazed by her movements and flexibility and she really impressed me deeply, somehow. Also now I feel a weird need to draw all of her incredible poses, it's really amazing what human body is capable of :D I don't know much about pole dancing but I'm glad I could see this one.
If this is silver I can only imagine how good the gold winner is.

These women are all beautiful, strong, flexible, with amazing muscle tone. One thing that stands out in this performance is that the dancer is NOT wearing those atrocious platform shoes.

..really?? .they are gymnists and balarinas ....very entertaining to watch but the true pole work is wear it started in the strip clubs where I have seen the most amazing pole dancers on Earth ...remember where this started and it's roots that's all I'm saying ....

It’s become such a trendy thing among rich white women who want exercise and a way to “connect with their sensuality” because of its beginnings, but like it started with strippers who did it for fun and more impressive shows meant better tips so strippers became these fantastic hidden athletes. Taking away the history and context behind pole dancing and selling it to rich white people is upsetting because it erases the women who developed what’s now a competitive sport, who are also sex workers.
Yes!! These spoiled rich white women knew there husband's were on the strip clubs so that's where it started with "them" . To the trained eye you can spot the "them" right away because there movements are clunky not fluid...they don't have that... a stripper moves like water and air fluid art in motion "they" will never have that!
