What a fun and beautiful idea! I still enjoy sending letters through the mail and this is such a great way to do that! Thank you for sharing this idea with us!
I love this idea for the Ancestors' Birthday Calendar that I'm making for Christmas presents. I need an envelope-type pocket to hold some of the family photos I'm including, and this will be a fun way to present them!
Very clever way to use DSP for an envelope. Yes, I’m a hoarder of many things, especially when it involves card making. Thanks for the clever idea, Kelly!
Hi Kelly. I love this idea and your video makes it clear how to do it. I made this and am wondering how you stick it down for mailing ( so the recipient won’t destroy it when opening). Thanks!
LOVIN’ this idea to use that DSP, Kelly! If I use it, then I can buy more, right??!! Haha! AND NO GUILT! :-)). I don’t recall ever seeing this before, so it was fun to see somethin’ “new” to me in such a clever way! Bet the postal carriers enjoy the pretty paper, too!! To actually mail, I would use a glue dot to hold down the “stamp” corner as a reassurance it didn’t pop open n’ tear when going through the postal machine! DID YOU??? (Sorry if that was like a “millennial traveler’s question!! BTW, they gave me lots of chuckles!! Thx!) TFS n’ HAPPY STAMPIN’ n’ CREATIN’!! :-))
Kelly, this is a really cute way to send out notes. Thanks for sharing. I have 3 questions for you. 1) you didn't state the size of your DSP. Can you please share it? 2) Do you have a video on this idea using the diagonal board for those who do own one? 3) Can you PLEASE share where you purchased the clear plastic folders to store your DSP? Are they available to fit a full pack of SU cardstock (both sizes)? Thanks for sharing.
Kelly, very cute but how does the recipient open the card without ripping it open? Do you add a clue dot under the stamp area flap? Sorry, I need step by step directions. Thanks so much! Blessings!
Kelly,I’m watching an old video where you make a envelope out of a piece of card stock, I’ve gotta be honest I’ve never done this and I’m going to try. But my question is how big is the piece of card stock because it does not look like a 12 x 12
@@gingermckean5258 Yes! So sorry - I forgot to mention the dimensions in the video . but you will always find them on my . blog and the link to my blog is always in the description under the video - a direct link. Thanks so much!
What a great technique, thanks for sharing! I was wondering, what do you use to keep your design paper in- the one shown in this video? The clear plastic pouch looked like it'll even hold 12x12. Would love to get the name and where you buy them. Thanks!

Do you see thumbs up/down then to the right it says save....at least on my tablet. You can go to splitcoast stampers, she is the guest host and it is there too.
Very clever Kelly....yep I hoard DSP too. It’s too pretty to cut sometimes LOL. Just a note though...if the square you are using for your stamp falls off you will obviously lose the stamp too. You cannot glue or tape a stamp on anything going through the USPS. You are correct in saying the stripes are easier for mailing. The scanners can have difficulty reading writing when the envelopes are too busy. This can delay your mail because it then has to be sorted by hand. Thank you so much for another great video

Yes, you are a great helper! Great ideas 💡
Cute idea. I can't afford on my budget. I have to plan ahead to get DSP for my cards. Great idea for those not on fixed income. Thank you.
So cute
What are the measurements of the DSP? That is so important!
cute idea, love it thank you

Great technique - thanks!
Yes,what did you seal it with? Need to know.
DSP is 81/2 x 11". How do we stick it shut without it being ruined upon opening? Kelly, any thoughts?
You just glue it down - the only thing that will be affected is the little tab. This is just a note.
I didn't know that SU sell coordinating nail polish. LOL! Does the post office accept such envelopes, especially the darker colors?
Yes, the address has to be legible.
Love this but what did you use to seal it with ? So lovely
Kelly, very cute but how does the recipient open the card without ripping it open? Do you add a clue dot under the stamp area flap? Sorry, I need step by step directions.
Thanks so much!
Blessings!
Very, very cool!
I love that idea and thank you:-)

Clever!! What are the measurements of the DSP that you used for the envelope?
Did you ever get that measurement?
@@gingermckean5258 I looked on Kelly's blog. It's a standard 11 X 8 1/2. Cute card!

What are the measurements of DSP. 11" by 6 or 8 ?

great idea, thanks for sharing. Yes what measurement is the envelope?
Has anyone figured out how to seal the envelope for mailing??? I’m not sure what to use and it wasn’t addressed in the video.
You just add a dab of glue under the little square or you can use Tear & Tape. Thanks for watching!
Kelly Acheson Thank you so much! I have already made one and they are so much fun. Your video was awesome 🌼🌼
Did I miss the DSP size?
What size dsp did you use please
Thank you Connie!
Great idea thank you.
crazy cool!!!!! L 💚VE !!!!!
Looks like this DSP is about 8 1/2 x 11. Is that right? This is an unusual shaped envelope and is sooooo cute! Love it! Now I am going to try it.
Yes! So sorry - I forgot to mention the dimensions in the video . but you will always find them on my . blog and the link to my blog is always in the description under the video - a direct link. Thanks so much!
Couldn't find it on your blog....did anyone figure out the size if the DSP? I'm guessing 6x12
Do you stick the stamp flap down, I am thinking it might get torn in the post. Lovely idea though
Yes - it lays pretty tight to the envelope. I have not had any problems in the post office.
If you don't glue the card the receipient can reuse the paper doing something else.
Very nice
Wow what a lovely idea can’t wait to try. Thankyou x
Wonderful video! Did you say you're in Menasha? I'm in Kaukauna!
Erica Jackson , I’m in Ripon!
Love this! How do you seal it for mailing? Just a glue dot?
I wondered about that also.
That is a neat idea. What is the size of the DSP? 🌞
8.5 x 11
Love this project and would like to save it to my pinterest file but I do not see the save button. Any suggestions?
Do you see thumbs up/down then to the right it says save....at least on my tablet. You can go to splitcoast stampers, she is the guest host and it is there too.
Is it 81/2 X 11? Thank you
Love it, now I can use my ugly dsp.....gasp......lol
Very clever Kelly....yep I hoard DSP too. It’s too pretty to cut sometimes LOL.

What size is your envelope? Paper
That how I made envelopes before I got the envelope maker.
Very Unique way to send a special note! Where did you get the sleeve you have your DSP in?
Is the Magic Envelope size paper 8 1/2 x 11?
