Crowds will gather TONIGHT to kick off the holiday season in Aurora.
2024 WINTER LIGHTS FEST

DOWNTOWN AURORA
The annual holiday festival draws thousands of spectators downtown for an evening of holiday magic, beginning with a trifecta of family fun:
• AN ILLUMINATED PARADE filed with lighted vehicles, costumed characters and community favorites!
• THE CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY immediately following the parade at 23 E. Downer Place. This year, the tree will be lit by heroic mailman and Aurora resident Jaylen Lockhart who helped to save the life of an Aurora senior citizen.
• A NEW DRONE SHOW that will light up the night sky over the majestic Fox River to the crowd's delight!
Following the razzle-dazzle, visitors can continue the fun with free photos with Santa, a DJ spinning holiday tunes, activities for youth, and holiday shopping deals at downtown businesses.
