Creating a Floater Frame That Allows Glass

  • Typically a floater frame is put around an oil or acrylic painting to show the whole piece of art, and it does not require glass because those mediums are stable and don't need to be protected. Watch how Nick takes a regular frame and turns it into a floater frame that accommodates glass!

    Where does a person purchase the high glue ??????

      @@sharonsmith2330 on the build out on the floater frames I used a regular PVA glue, which is any carpenters glue that you can get from the hardware store. You may be asking about the Hyde glue that I used when building a cradle for a painting on a panel. That glue is made by a company called tight bond. And if you can’t find it at the hardware store, you can easily find it online. Hope that helps!
