Does a Dutch test have to be done by a Dr specialist in menopause? or can i ask my GP for the test? .....or can you buy this test on-line? and do it yourself at home?

I just had this recommended from a functional health doctor cause I'm post menopausal and my family doctor only offers me weightloss surgery...I want to fix what's going on...not just lose weight...hair and teeth from malnutrition.

When is the best time of the month for a woman to take a DUTCH test? Is it before the spike in estrogen during ovulation?
During the luteal phase when progesterone is at its peak.
