- The control and FPS signal was still stable (3 from 5 lines), but I needed to return due to low-battery warning (60%). Flight altitude was 70 meters.

Greetings friend, excellent job what you did with the editing of the video to see the speed and height numbers, the screen is really very clean, I congratulate you, I would like to know how you did it, it is super pleasant to look at because you really appreciate the magnitude of those cameras without any type of interference and having access to the data.
Nice range test.
Kept the relevant telemetry on screen at all times showing the battery life / signal strength in upper right and the altitude / distance in lower left.
Some of these other drone channels talk for 30 minutes about random stuff and fiddle around with their settings before they even start the test flight. Only gripe is I wish you had an overlay on screen at 12:40 - 12:50 to show how far you zoomed in and if it was digital or optical zoom.

You can change the RTH battery in the settings. Mine set to warn me at 20% and 10 critical. But i wont be going max distance either. If i was I'll change it back to factory settings. And see how far i can go before it forces the RTH.

Thank you, yes in strong wind battery is drained much faster, so the 3000+3000m is in the safe zone.
How is this drone in an urban environment? And compared to DJI mini 3 range wise?
Tampa Bay area and i fly mine alot in these areas you speak of. And mine has done fine. Obviously ive not done distance because no drone in those conditions will do much good! I will say ive gotten about two point five miles. I was getting a skyway bridge footage and where i was at the time i had to fly through tough urban areas. But she made it there and back. @theurbanartist775
Your range was limited by the battery capacity, not communication range. A bigger battery may not increase the max distance due to the additional weight. Some external factors can also limit your max distance such as the noise floor on 2.4 or 5GHz or your height above average terrain.
Yes, in a calm day I could fly more. Or do the test in one direction till the battery lasts. I think the top range could be 9000-12000 meters
@@FirstQuadcopter Yes wind can influence how far you can fly on a battery. Here in the US, I can't fly beyond line of sight, even if it's out in the country.

I’m about to buy another drone and I’ve never tried Autel, although I would love too. That’s if it does well in the city.
The question is: is there an interest in always going further? I'm not sure of it.
That's absolutely mental the range on that but so is the price but i guess you get what you pay for I've just bought my first ever drone the holy stone hs360s maybe one day ill get this amazing drone
