Salaryman Tsuyoshi Mukouda is accidentally summoned as a hero to the Kingdom of Reijseger in another world to help defend against their enemies. Wary of the royal family's true intentions, Mukouda is able to talk his way out of the situation due to his non-combat skill, "Online Supermarket," which is deemed useless.
However, this power proves to be anything but useless. With this ability, Mukouda is able to cheaply purchase food products and utensils from Japan-most of which are considered luxuries in this world. As Mukouda cooks up a storm using his ability, he catches the eye of the fearsome mythical wolf Fenrir. The legendary beast swiftly negotiates a contract to become Mukouda's familiar, unable to resist the delicious dishes. The kingdom literally skipped on this man, thought his skill was shit. You NEVER dismiss your party buff caster!
It’s not that they skipped him.
Rather he ditch the kingdom the moment he saw something was fishy. If the kingdom was in actual crisis or war with demons.
Why the hell are they so high class. The king was fat with multiple expensive rings. That isn’t a king who’s asking for help.
So he ditched them and left the kingdom as fast as possible.

Having no chef, pretty much slowly kills a persons mood and energy.
@@mvodinhTo clarify a bit more, the other heroes thought his online grocery would only let him get stuff from this world, rather than their own. Plus, nobody knew that his food would apply passive buffs, not even Mukoda himself.
When the animation budget goes entirely into making the food look ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS
Not just the animation budget, they hired a company that specializes in filming food preparation for cooking shows to film the actual creation of dishes, and then used that footage for reference while animating.
Money well spent.
Someone also said that they work with ghibli studio for the food too.

I love how Sui compliments and take note of every ingredients used in Mukouda's cooking meanwhile Fel just devours everything. Guess thats why he always doted on Sui.
Not only that, but also cute factor

Sui is basically the energetic child that likes to learn and talks a lot about what they noticed

If sui was human, why do I keep thinking about him being an adorable autistic boy, and the little squeal and happy jumps he does is a stim he'd do.
It's more like Sui is a baby, a literal toddler who likes to ask why multiple times and is very impressionable, especially towards Uncle Fel.

just noticed an issue with the translation.
"sprinkle salt and pepper right before grilling"
Next line
"if you salt too soon before grilling, you might lose some of the umami"
I'd imagine he meant that don't let too much time between the salt and the frying as the meat could dry up losing most of the juices that give the umami
When he said "too soon before grilling" he meant, don't salt and pepper your meat if you are still planning to do anything else. Meaning don't take too much time between salt and peppering your meat and grilling it.
You should grill it right away after salt and pepper it.

In Fel's case, he's arrogant and drags him around against his will. He's also pretty demanding and has a large appetite, so he can be pretty annoying to be around. With Sui, she's like a child, so there's the cuteness factor, as well as the fact she volunteers to help out with cleaning.
It's like when you are with your annoying besfriend and with his cute little sibling.
